There is also a misconception. Paul never said the ones he referred to as Gentiles were the very same ones that Jesus Christ referred to as dogs - Non-Israelites. The other Israelite tribes — non-Jewish people — whose country — the nation of Israel— had been destroyed by the God of Isreal by way of the Assyrians back in 720BC were out there roaming among the Gentiles. That leap that by Gentiles Paul meant the dogs was instead made by those who constructed the religion of Christianity through their many dubious twists of the word of Paul.
