oshiomhole has saved the day for APC in Edo state.Its highly unlikely for APC to lose the elections.

Sorry to say but Asuẹn is on a charm offensive and advantage to him right now.

Obaseki has also visibly stepped well away from his campaign so it's not a slam dunk I personally initially thought.

I am not so sure about an APC win anymore. Asue Ighodalo is starting his campaign early, Monday and Denco are still planing their own campaign, in fact Denco's body language is not promising in pictures.

The impeachment of Philip Shaibu as Deputy Governor of Edo State didn’t come as a surprise.

Interestingly, his impeachment was an apolitical decision by the Edo State House of Assembly - PDP, LP, APC legislators all supported the impeachment. This further shows how grave his offenses were for political across political spectrum to have supported his impeachment.

You cannot continue to undermine your principal, publicly. Philip Shaibu was the most powerful and popular deputy governor in Nigeria, this shows the extent to which Governor Obaseki gave him free rein and also supported him. At some point he apologized to the governor but he still went about deriding the progress Edo has made, a Government he is an active part of.

For Philip Shaibu, I guess he stretched his luck, pushed too far, and miscalculated politically. He was fortunate to have a Governor that didn’t gag him in anyway, he was free to activate events and make things happen. He did took all that for granted.
Be lying to yourself. We have all seen how Shuaibu have been treated with ignominy by the governor for a long time now

Shuaibu it's a pity you have to go this way. In your next political dispensation, never betray your benefactors. Having said that, Obaseki should also know that he can't be trusted by any reasonable politicians in Nigeria. He betrayed his political leader and also betrayed his deputy who sacrificed his loyalty from Oshiomole to ensure he got the second term in office. As for those of you who are now celebrating Shuaibu downfall will never see anything wrong with what Fubara is doing to Wike in River state. You criticize Shuaibu for betrayal but praised Fubara for the same actions against his benefactor.
Hope Obaseki will continue to sing "No to godfather" in Edo state during electioneering campaign. Also I believe he will also repeat "Edo no be Lagos" slogan in the same campaigning period. You that supposed him against Oshiomole in the last election, hope you will not support him now that he wanted to be godfather to the candidate he single handedly imposed on the party.

If Edo youths dominated 50% of the electorates and obi come to campaign for Akpata, it means 30-35% votes will be minus from PDP votes, APC are not doing bad in Edo election, they came first in obaseki first tenure, came second in his second tenure


With the votes LP will take away from PDP, there is 54.6% probability out of 100% that APC will triump in September election

Asiwaju Tinubu was already a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as at 1992 so it is laughable when your older ones deceive you to think that he came Asiwaju Tinubu's political journey started in 1999.

Asiwaju didn't fall for the trap Pa Obasanjo used to sack all the other 5 AD Governors and replace them with PDP Governors, that foresight alone, the mainstream Afenifere is still surviving today.
While you are not informed about it so had to rely on links, true Lagosians like us witnessed all. God blessed us with Asiwaju Tinubu and we are proud to have such a Great Leader.
