It's not all parts of Ikorodu but some parts. D info is to tell all formations n organizations to do proper scheduling that wont involve woman in action since it wont be more than a day or two.

Okay. But what if the military decides not to do the needed scheduling by leaving the females in their formation?

Growing up in Lagos and now living in America

- I miss the sound of the Oro and the songs the adherents chant when they are passing in Agege or In Iju Ishaga (Ifako Ijaiye - Lagos) all the way to Iju Ajuwon/Alagbole/Akute in Ogun state.

- I miss the Egun festivals in Mushin especially the Egun Snow (little boy) decked in all white costume and riding on a horse with thousands of followers behind him.

- I miss the eyo festivals in Lagos Island.
i like eyo festival

These people have chosen to remain in the dark ages, how can you deprive people of their right of movement,so women living in Ikorodu and are faced with emergency health challenges can not at that time access Ikorodo general hospital.Whats so special with this awkward Oro festival, the same Oro masquerade that muslim faithfuls beat the hell out of it,the last time it over stepped its boundary.Outright nonsense !
so because oyinbo carry bibble give us we should forget our culture and traditions, that's why China is progressive because dey didn't accept oyinbo religion

White brown yellow black. I am American and that's all that matters.

Bro they can be Americans but they whites no themselves.

They shared lands in America to themselves. They live in country side with vast lands to farm and enjoy.

Why the other colors cant get that kind of land to farm or to do exploit?

What about the Halloween (day of dead) 'savages' in Europe and America, do they make 'sense' to you?

Do they restrict women from leaving their homes?

Absolutely! U can't take people's culture and traditions away from them! Were those things not in place before d military? Even d so called Christian and Islamic religion met traditional religion on board. We are too carried away with the western ways and that's why we're loosing our relevancy gradually. U can verify from a reliable source how some of the military's operations are done regarding d above. Something that won't be more than 24 hours with due notification given. Bro no be today,i have being in the stuff as far back as early 90's.

Okay. However, having military post can't termed westernised.

Having a military post was never mentioned in the argument! Likewise d use of western ways of doing things wasn't for the military but religion because they (d western world) brought Christianity in exchange of our traditional ways of worship. Before announcing the date of the festival in question,am sure d people involved must have done their consultations widely with the necessary authorities n stakeholders so as to ensure a hitch free event.
