Arrest every institution owner that charges in dollars unless they have changed. This goes to all universities and hotels owners who charge in dollars

And this will stop the Naira depreciation?

No be Binance again?

Naira started improving last 3 weeks and all the agents fighting to bring it to that point beginning with EFCC and CBN all went asleep instead of continuously working to keep it down and by the beginning of last week they lost control of it again and Naira continues its downfall in value. It's the same attitude that made it impossible to completely defeat Bokohram till date. We are lazy individually and collectively

Are we to blame the "Allegation" for the falling of the Naira

Yes!!!!!!

Why should you allege?

Can't you see how we are trying and checking to find the cause even though the rightful person told us about production?
We moved from BDCs to Binance to allegation and now to telling countries what to do and what not to do.

Very good. They must comply with our laws as stipulated in the Vienna Conventions of 1961 and 1963. These are some of things that ought to have been stopped. The economy is dollarized.

•Unless, there is Radical Approaches on Naira, enemies within and external wants to wreck havoc continuously on Nigeria!
The enemies including Big Hotels are inclusive,as they would patronise Dollars more in Nigeria than our Naira!
They are all Unpatriotic and they do it quietly and silently,by so doing oiling Corruption.
•Nigerian govt Officials - the Governors, Senators and House of Reps and the State Assembly, the Ministers and the MDAs - are all involved in Undermining our Currency - the Naira(N). e g to undermine Currency in China is Death Sentence and Corruption in China is Death Sentence- a Woman Billionaire has just been given a Death Sentence and you don't hear her or her business again!
•Until the so called' Big Men/ Big Fish ' in Nigeria are caught and made a Scape Goats in Nigeria, nothing good is coming to Rescue Nigeria!
- e g what happened to all the NBillions Palliatives collected by the States in Nigeria and how can our governors be Accountable for these Homongous Money?
-Nothing is happening in most States :No visible Projects -other than Change them to Dollars, while the Masses suffers-
-no roads,
-no Infrastructures,
-no water,no Health Care Facilities-and No light!
Banks CEO,and Other Nigerian ---CEOs,some traditional rulers, etc, are also involved in this Racketing against their Fatherland ( Nigeria) and the Naira.
•Americans, Europeans wouldn't do that to their Currencies- because is a National Pride!

They cannot lack what they don't have. They never had any idea of what to do. Tinubu said that he will continue from where Buhari stopped.

Bros it is not by giving them ideas. They cannot implement it. Check out the issue of fuel subsidy removal. Did they not say that PO wanted to remove it too? But what happened? They didn't copy well.

Costimetic solution. So what happens when you want to use the naira to buy Gucci boxers from Italy or mystic bamboo toothpicks from China, or you just stolen 2 billion naira and you want to take one of your girlfriends to Dubai for shopping? shey na naira you go pay them? Maybe when you buy a $10 biscuit in NYC for #45k, that is when you will know that this your solution is a window dressing solution. Nevertheless, the main solid and everlasting solution is PRODUCE AND EXPORT, STOP IMPORTING PANTS AND BRA FOR YOUR GIRLFRIENDS. STOP IMPORTING NONSENSICAL AND NON-CRITICAL ITEMS
LAST; STOP STEALING.

You're stopping foreign missions from transacting in dollar and ordered your own foreign mission abroad to transact in naira violating the host country's policy? Our leaders have sense but they don't have wisdom.

Good move.
Basically,it is mostly the poor masses that spend naira but the elites, foreign missions, give etc mostly spend dollar.
It has been there for long barely noticed because Nigeria was still sinking bit by bit and because we have had mostly mumu govts in Nigeria who always thought that Nigeria was rich and no matter what they do even negatively,Nigeria will still be rich.
Just like some undiscerning people were saying that if a dog rules Lagos,it will still continue to be rich grin
Some people are so ignorant.

FG should monitor those govs, bank CEOs too closely because they are part of the rot.

All embassies follows their home country's rule and law. The host country don't have any rule or right over another country's embassy just because it is in your country.
Looks like most nairalanders has never been to any embassy in or outside Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Nigeria immigration charges in dollars outside Nigeria.
And you pay to get naira from POS people. Turning your own currency to a commodity. Mad country.
most people on nairaland have never left their local govt, they are the ones that abuse or insult people the most.Efcc chairman is not exposed.if I were the president for him to make this statement I’ll sack him,An embassy is a country in another country.Your laws don’t affect them. How did these guys manage to get to the top.

They keep deceiving themselves, beating about the bush. You don't want to address looting and stealing coz you're involved; stop tribalism and nepotism and put qualified persons irrespective of tribe to run the economy you say no because you know it will affect you ( Tinubu); stabilize power you say no; stop the Fulani terrorists destroying farms you are not ready; stop kidnapping; prioritize production, reduce cost of governance.
This present measure is as foolish and hypocrical as all that Tinubu has done hitherto. Some of you here saying trash, do you know how much crude is stolen per day from Nigeria? NIGERIA IS THE ONLY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD WHERE THEIR OIL WELLS ARE NOT METERED! NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IS PRODUCED AND WHAT IS ACCOUNTED FOR. Who are the people involved in this stealing? You think it's the common man on the street?

Seems like this naira started falling again since the allegation “foreign reserve is being used to sustain the naira” was made

you have a great sense of judgement.

The reason why it is like thatbis beacuse Nigeria has debt against its foreign reserve. When the report of declining foreign reserve went out, Nigeria stopped artificially bringing down the exchange rate and let it go back to 1400 bevaise they fear the repercussions.

Exactly my brother. I don't want to mention the names of these schools. The are around oluyole estate in ibadan, they charge between 1000 - 1800 Dollars tuition fees for primary school

There should even be a law prohibiting 🚫 such. As Naira is the legal tender in Nigeria
