Anything can cause your lymph nodes to swell. The swelling of the nodes just signifies that something is wrong with your body. HIV in its seroconversion might come with swollen lymph nodes mostly when it is generalized as opposed to localized swelling. Only a full panel test would confirm if it is HIV or not, lymph nodes are not a good guess of a what a disease is. Any disease can cause swollen lymphs.
