I very much doubt that we will be bringing in any defender. Sagna will be a CB back up to Kos, Per and TV5 (when he returns). At right back, we have Sagna (again I know) and Jenko plus there are at least two players in the reserves who can play in this position. To let Coquelin (a RB back up) go on loan is same as telling us he's fine with the players he's got in this position. At LB, we have Gibbs and Monreal.
With Perez's 'trial' today, I can safely assume that's Arteta's back up. I don't if this will work though as he is likely to need work permit.

As for CF, I am not comfortable with Poldi as our main striker and if AW says this is his back up plan, he is on his own. When Poldi plays upfront, he is like fish out of water. AW should leave him at his left position.

Well, clearing out players gives room for players to come in.

With two weeks to go, I still expect us to bring in 1 GK, 1 midfielder and 1 striker, one or two of these possibly on loan.
A CB coming in will depend on the extent of TV5's injury. If it's bad, we may loan a CB but if not, I very much doubt Arsene will buy. Anyways, two weeks to go.

OT: strikers win you games and in turn trophies. We need a quality striker imo (Giroud= thorough-bred donkey) good backup, but nothing much, we can have decent squad filler(s) as defence backup.
