There are no Nigerian appetizers per se. In a typical Nigerian Lunch or Dinner, if you cannot do without appetizers, chin-chin, stick meat/stick shrimp or a little portion of pepper soup should do.

The same goes for desserts . . .There's no Nigerian dessert per se. Cake is okay.

The title of the topic just try to wake up my long dead Geography.
It's just like a plate covered while you being seriously hungry and already salivating only to open the plate with raw pepper staring back at you.
Re: Nigerian Desserts by tpia5: 3:17pm On Dec 10, 2011
Appetizers like chinchin, puff puff, etc are more common than desserts, in nigeria.

The culture isnt sugar based per se.

But for dessert, iguess you could say cake, ice cream, yogurt, etc and these arent eaten everyday.

Can we, please, answer the question rather than concentrate on the typographical error made by the OP?
I have corrected the error, if that will steer the thread back on course.
