Na still september 6 dey there ooo...i'm waiting till when my I-20 will be 60 days to expiration to book for emergency appointment... you can book for emergency appointment nah...make sure u attach your I-20...that means you'll have to scan your signed I-20 form and attach it to your emergency appointment message...you can only attach one file so just attach your I-20 instead. Take care bro...all of us will get very good early dates by God's grace.

However when I received my form I-20,the money is reflected under student's personal funds. On the ds-160 form, I signified my father as being my sponsor.I hope this won't be contradictory to what's on my form I-20 which shows students personal funds. What do you sugest I do? Do I call the school to correct the mistake? This wld be the second I-20 d school wld be sending. D 1st had an error in my dob.

i selected schedule an appointment, checked the non-immigrant, checked F1 and I guess the remaining ones I clicked next all through. well, i didn't ask if the person have picked a date though as i'm yet to see him online since he shared his details with me.

Tot u wud see proof from the guy who just got his visa granted. . . He took an expired toefl and that was overlooked but if u insist on cancelling, remember the only available dates are September n October

Allohrandy: U can only get emergency date if your sch resumption date is 60 days from the day u apply for emergency visa interview. Thats what the customer care center told me when i called them on friday. So if your resumption is before 17th aug, then u still hope.

Honestly, if your gmat or gre is still valid, I really don't know why you'd want to cancel your appointment based on the expired toefl. The visa officer is not testing your english fluency, he's only interested in the exams you sat to qualify for an admission. The irony is this, you may not even be asked for the toefl at all. When I went for my interview, I gave her my GRE and TOEFL and she didn't even look at the toefl at all. Again, what was your score in the TOEFL? and I believe you still have some unresolved issues with your SEVIS - that could be why you're so bent on cancelling. The embassy is not as scary as you think it is. Just be confident and articulate your thoughts well, with prayers, it's going to be an easy ride!

The most funny thing is that i have not yet paid my sevis fee. Can anyone pls direct me to any reliable agent where i can pay the sevis in lagos or ph.

I was also rescheduled to july 2nd but didn't use emergency stuff...i never pay my sevis fee too but i heard it can be paid in cotonou with western union or if you know someone in the usa...scan your I-20 to the person and let the person go to fmjfee.com and pay it via credit card for you...cheers@profginger also

Even in the US, credit card can't be used to pay SEVIS for Nigerians, the person can only use western union or bank transfer for him.

Devry is majorly an online school and i guess your friend was just unfortunate to have met a VO that knows this. If asked again he could say something like 'his own particular major has about 10 percent online class as it requires a lot of classroom discussion and research'. He must however be able to defend this further. Others may have a better idea.
