He's a crazy man. Coaches that are tactically rigid always get on my nerves.

Watch your player's minutes especially your starters. Now they have the unique misfortune of their reserves getting hurt but because he has overrun his starters now they have to play anyway even though they're running on fumes. I saw Josh Hart finally holding his waist. This is someone that was playing 48 minutes doing 14-17-7 now even his Ethiopian cardio needs breaks

The doubling is really to make him inefficient not necessarily to stop him. You can't stop a Jokic unless he doesn't feel like scoring that night. So if you let their most efficient player unfettered scoring access, you're demoralizing their defense.

Gobert doesn't have good hands or a soft touch so he will always be a liability on offense, the effort required to stop him is minimal. What you want is a body on KAT. Allow Antman to keep playing hero ball, when KAT starts feeling himself is when you run into having problems. He's an overly emotional player that tries to over correct his reputation as a softie so put AG on him to knock him off rhythm

I definitely don't expect MPJ to play as bad, he just didn't have it yesterday but I've not seen him have back to back games this season

I just believe that overall the Nuggets obituary was written too early. Their big advantage is that they usually just understand the assignment in late close games. I get a lot of San Antonio Spurs vibes from them.

Your aim is to limit his efficiency. Banking on Murray and MPJ to both shoot poorly is a dangerous game.

What you want is for Jokic to be in hero ball mode taking 25 or more shots and then reduce his efficiency like they did in Game 1. Not the over aggressive doubling they do with both guys jumping on him at the same time subsequently from Games 2-4.

He will just shoot over your heads or find the open man.

They're making that same over aggresive doubling mistake with Murray and now Denver have adjusted letting Gordon or Jokic bring up the ball. Expending energy and it's showing with all their jumpers falling flat.

Thibs is clinically insane. He literally wants His players to puke and grind to a halt before He realises the errors of His way. On normal day, He can possibly attribute the injuries suffered to nothing more than bad luck but with Thibs we have to admit this is more than just bad luck.

You make a good point about Jokic however it would have helped more If He wasn't just allowed to coast on Defense because the Man He is meant to be guarding can't play a lick of offense.

You can tell how the game will go with KAT within the 5 minutes. If He hits a 3 or 4 shots and He is feeling himself, then you are in for a good night, if not then sulking might start to set in. That'll be plan I assume. Let Ant cook and cover the rest because you don't want KAT to get going early on or even a streaky shooter like JMacdniels who can explode for 30 anytime.

I love what the Mavs did with the design of the inbound area of their court. I have seen names like Erick Dampier and Monta Ellis. Nice to see them pay homage to some of their greats.

Luka cant score free throws when it matter most.

It makes no sense for a player as skilled as Luka to be barely above average at free throws

Throughout this series, Luka has spent more time whining at officials and on the floor looking for fouls. Dort has him locked out and shooting way below his percentage and that is frustrating him even more. He has 7 TO at last count in this game and can’t convert clutch FTs.
