I found and employed a block molder to resume work in this site because the blocks we have on the ground is not enough to carry this project to completion, but I am still faced with some materials challenges like more sand, gravel and cement.

Only that I will not go to this site today owing to some other enagements, but the boys are filling up the foundation with soil as at now. I am communicating with them on phone and by tomorrow, I will go and monitor the progress of work there. Work is in progress. |

and the block maker is not disappointing at all, he has made over 700 blocks from 17 bags of cement. He will come back to site as soon as we get sand to continue this job. 1 Like

Fhemmmy: You know this is a bungalow, so there are no column bases, no baskets in many places, and other slight differences from duplexes which I have been building here, I once did a bungalow to painting stage in 6 weeks flat. Duplexes are slower to build because of the many care you have to take for safety sake. Another thing is funding, if a client funds a project well, I will be free to speed up things on my own without calling him everyday to wire more funds or buy more materials, this project is even slow in my thinking, we didnt work yesterday because there was no sharp sand supplied. 2 Likes 1 Share |

^^^ welcome Pato405, I was looking for the highest point to take this pictures and allow us to see the layout of the house, but there was nowhere to stand. Except if you can pay my life insurance cover then I can climb the nearest palm tree to the top and snap from there, so that if I crashland my kids will have something to show for it,lol. |
