A rough scan through the list shows that the victims were about 98% Igbo. |
Re: List Of Madalla Blast Victims Released -98% Igbo by Nchara: 3:23am On Dec 30, 2011 |
Take heart ndigbo. May their souls RIPP The preponderance of Igbo victims is because it was a Catholic church that was bombed. And going by their family names, they appear to be Igbos mainly of Anambra and of parts of Imo (both bastions of catholicism in Igboland) We shall overcome. |

Very sad on a christmas day people lose parents, husband, wife, friends, sibling and children. I suppose boko did their homework. |
Re: List Of Madalla Blast Victims Released -98% Igbo by Onlytruth(m): 3:31am On Dec 30, 2011 |
Their "crime" was that they were Igbo, and went to church in Northern Nigeria on Christmas day. Let history reflect that. |
Re: List Of Madalla Blast Victims Released -98% Igbo by Bliss4Lyfe(f): 3:44am On Dec 30, 2011 |
Those pictures should be sent to the pope in Vatican city, showing exactly how the people looked before and after the bomb in the catholic church. I heard the Catholic Bishop is talking about giving them decent burial but wat about justice? Igbo's should learn not to take things lying down but profile and build a case file for these crimes so the international community are carried along. |

We shall overcome. Man's inhumanity to man let the world bear witness to this. This was exctly how it started some over 40yrs ago but some folks like to talk about Nigeria's hate crisis as if it began with a coup. These crimes against humanity and the associated complicity by the North will be well documented this time. at least we live in the digital age. |

Idiots like OYB and Rhino will be the happiest human beings on earth. When the east starts, they will be the set of ediots to shout. The other fool amongst them will ask for proof of genocide. I wonder if Nigeria still at war with the people of the south east. This barbaric act should be condemned. |

Relax101: The most annoying thing about those people is that they would be the first to accuse you of "spreading hate". Once we are dying without speaking out, they are happy. God will punish those ediiots. I honestly believe that oburu na agbaghi uzo owelle mgba, odighi echi. The sooner Ndigbo realize that the better our chance of survival in Nigeria. |

I am absolutely horrified, especially as I have been screaming on NL for months. These events were predictable, and the worst thing is that more audacious atrocities will be committed in the future so we have to brace ourselves for the inevitable. However, this is where I draw the line, and a lot of Nigerians do not have the stomach for what has to be done, in order to further save innocent lives.I was always prepared for this eventuality and they will pay dearly for their actions. I cite relevant examples in history such as the Crusades and establishment of the 'Knights Templar'; Vlad the Impaler and the breakup of ex-Yugoslavia. This is not just a battle for the various peoples of the River Niger, it a battle for sub-saharan Africa. The bottom line for Christians is that if Christ was willing to die for our sins, so should Christians be willing to die for our entitlement to life. Game on, good against evil, light against darkness, Game on! (And a reverse one finger*ed salute to anybody that does not like what I've just posted). |

I made effort over and over to stop this killing. because i know the history of nigeria. I took a risk on my life. It look like the attacker where after southerners. and Igbo were just in the wrong path of their bomb. since they go to the Catholic church. Every southerner will agree with me , that I was right all the time, that the government was wrong. even you igbos online insulted me for what i was doing. I was only trying to help you people. Now you now see the danger in this. Just imagine if the Igbo people have voted me as president. See what the igbo got for not doing the right thing. When they killed Yorubas, you people kept quiet until they attack you. Cant you see , So you people must decide, To either support me or Jonathan Goodluck, If you support me, you will be safe. if you support the government, you all end up in a civil war base on nigeria history. now you people can believe me , that I nearly got kick when posting the satellite pictures. |

Just last week i warned about the possibility of bomb attacks in nigeria, following the fighting in iraq. I may have been right or wrong, but these days one really cant afford to ignore signs of the times. I'm not sure what's the way forward now because this is clearly a global war being fought on a local scale. And i really dont think this is a safe time to be in the north though admittedly nowhere is safe and its only God who can provide safety. I have a quick question- the church looked new. Does anyone know when it was built? |

when i was shouting the truth, you igbo refuse because you saw that jonathan goodluck was given you illegal oil derivation that you dont have in some state. you insulted me. what you people dont know is that when the north get there in power. every illegal money jonathan goodluck is given your people and also given bayelsa , that the north will deduct it back. if you know them, instead of stand up for the truth, instead of standing with to see change in the system. you people assume thing will be as usual. now who are you going to support, is it me that tell you people the truth or jonathan goodluck and his people. before them kill una finjsh, |

RIP to the victims, but I am not surprised they were Igbos. I actually said the same thing when I heard of the bombings. Everybody knows Igbo and catholicism goes hand in hand. All Nigerians that I know that are Catholic are Igbos so not suprising. Now if it had been RCCG or Winners where Yoruba people typically go, most of the casualties would have been Yoruba. Please, i don't think this is an attack on Igbo people. |
Re: List Of Madalla Blast Victims Released -98% Igbo by Nobody: 5:32am On Dec 30, 2011 |
too sad, that's what happens when 98% of Niger state are Igbos (esp business owners). If the same thing happens in Lagos, 75% of them are expected to be Igbos. May God rest their soul. I'm glad that my Yoruba ppl are heading back home. We need to increase our population, not have it involuntarily cut down for us. |

I remember previous thread when they report Boko Haram bombs somewhere in Borno and Yobe, Some people would actually rejoice since they felt it was Hausas they were killing, They forgot that Human beings are the victims whether Hausa, Ibo, Kanuri or Berom And these people who died were living in a country that has a President, yet the President has told them to endure the more bombings. These ppl killed surely deserve better in their own country that has a President, but when those saddled with protecting them choose to speak in rhetoric How long has Retardeen told us he knows the sponsors of Boko yet he cant mention them just because he values his own sponsors than the innocent Nigerian who went to church on Xmas day?? |
Re: List Of Madalla Blast Victims Released -98% Igbo by dayokanu(m): 5:42am On Dec 30, 2011 |
Onlytruth: This is no attack on any specific ethnic group it was aimed at Xtians simple regardless of where they are from They bombed an MFM church which I believe would be populated by Yorubas. Do you think Boko Haram cares whether the xtian killed is Ibo, Yoruba, Ijaw, or Berom? |

Are you guys really hoping that yorubas and ibo should have shared the casualty 50 - 50 cuz I dont really understand the essence of whining about 98% of the victims being ibos ? Does bomb discrminates ibos from other ethnics when detonating ? |

We can not overrule the possibility of Igbos been the target in this case. Everybody knows who goes to catholic church. So, those saying Igbos are not targetted should hesitate a bit before concluding. |
