1. They wanted you to sign an agreement because there was a dispute in the amount involved to which you set up a committee wbich is very unnecessary. They're clever enough to know that the committee cannot achieve anything meaningful given that this outgoing government had just about 2 weeks from the time you set up the committee. As such, they're right not to believe in your approach.
2. If you're really sincere in settling their concern with you, why didn't you employ a better approach at verifying their claim by contacting the concerned agencies in a swifter manner? Besides, the exchange rate differential should not really be a big issue as it is a common knowledge what it is. After all, we're talking of FG's official rate and not any other one.

Real jobs in banking, telecoms,IT,education, hospitality petroleum etc. Real middle class stuffs Not to forget, the foreign visa galore ( won by OBJ gravitas)which many of my friends took advantage of to get out of Nigeria. The only item he erred on was in the choice of successors. Coming out of a military dictatorship, I will excuse most of obj's misdemeanours. By the way, most of what is good about Nigeria was either built by baba himself, or a government he was part of( refineries, highways, dams, power plants etc) His successors come in and destroy most of his hardwork. Where is olokola and brass LNG? How I wished buhari had the $64 billion external reserves obj left behind to play with. With people like David West, Itse sagay, Fashola, Pat utomi, sanusi doing their thing. What about a budget of 60/40 reccurrent to capital expenditure?
U forgot to add that he also repaired Nigerian electricity with 16billon and power outage has been. A thing of the past
Also sold Nitel to himself and its still working or ask anbody.
He also empower some Nigerian by giving them import wavers thereby sustaining the local industries.
Hr empowered people to build banks and employed pple and later the banks were liquidated. Intercontinental bank oceanic bank.
He also assisted savannah bank to become one of the best in the world.
In terms of conflict resolution Obasanjo was the best ever Nigeria produced. Assisted the people of odi to turn their village into farmland
He was so magnanimous to the extent that he helped Nigeria turn operation feed the nation farm to his cos Nigerians couldn't farm.

Gr8amechi: KADUNA – Kaduna State Governor-elect, Mallam Nasir El Rufai Tuesday said that all stolen money by the current ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, must be refunded as soon as the incoming government of the All Progressive Change, APC, was sworn in on May 29th, 2015.
The former Minster of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, made the statement in a speech yesterday when executive members of the National Union of Textile Garments and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria, NUTGTWN, paid him a courtesy visit in his private residence in Kaduna.
El-Rufai said, “we will politely ask those who stole government money to return the funds.
“This is because people who are in government now (PDP) are there to work for themselves but the APC government is made up of people who are ready to work for the masses and betterment of the country. “We will work with the textile union to ensure that lives of the average Nigerians get better”, he said.
The former Minister decried what he described as the “shameful” state of the textile industry in the area, pledging that his government will reverse the trend.

By Pof. Yusuf Dankofa
1).Yesterday's Wives. Welcome my husband, hope the office was not stressful., your favorite food is ready, let me lead you to the bathroom first, then you take your dinner, you look so tired, am sure you'll be okay after taking your dinner, welcome my one and only.
Today's Wives Please don't put unnecessary pressure on me, you can go to the fridge pick up the stew, microwave it and boiled the remaining rice, i am your wife and not your cook.
2).Yesterday's Wives Darling stop thinking about our lack of money.its going to be temporary.God will see us through and we are going to come out of it stronger.Afterall we can still feed ourselves and the children. We need to give the Almighty that glory.I am with you through thick and thin,my husband, the owner of my dowry.
Today's Wives________________Look I am sick and tired of living in this abject poverty with you.Why did you bring me to your house when you know that you are not ready for marriage?Every day is one complaint or the other. Are you the complainant general of Nigeria. We don't have cars, our house is in tudunwada, when your mates are in GRAs.Look if you don't find solutions to your problems, you will come back and not find me in this your rotten house.
3).Yesterday's Wives____________My husband,we only have 3 children, don't you think we should have more. You know children are gifts and mercies from God.And the more the merrier.
Today's Wives_______________Look am sick and tired of this marriage. You won't allow me to rest by your constant urge to have more children.I am okay with our two children.i can't allow you to spoil my figure 8 by bearing another 4 children. You are so wicked that I feel you want to spoil my psychedelic looks. If you dare force me,I will sue you for rape.
4).Yesterday's Wives___________My husband, take heart and don't worry.i shall go with you to Zaria.Your being transferred from the glitterati of abuja to Zaria might be a blessing in disguise. We shall take the advantage of the educational institutions to advance our education. Some disappointments could be a blessing.
Today's Wives______________Me I can't follow you to Zaria o.God forbid bad thing. From abuja to Zaria?I can't cope with such a demotion. To start living in a village. You had better look for another wife.I can't live in a city without silver birds,Amigo supermarket or Dunes
5)Yesterday's Wives__________My husband,I have enough clothes. This N30.000 you are giving me,pls keep it and save for a rainy day.
Today's Wives________________Why are you so stingy?Do you have super glue in your palms? What an insult. What kind of shopping do you want me to do with N50.000?What can I buy?Is it Swiss lace or Dubai gold.I am disappointed in you.Your mates are giving their wives $5000 to shop, here you are humiliating me with naira.I don't blamfe you.It is because I refused to marry Chief Antonio that's why you are messing up with me.o
#TRUE or #FALSE U said nothing wrong. All correct. Most of them may not accept but you can be ready sure that they have the next ticket to board a divorce plane. They are not ashamed to be baby mamas and single parents. Instead of them leaning so as to apply when they get marry all they care for is abuse and insult. Una go soon reach cross line now |

1stCitizen: It is now coming out in the open that a lot of Nigerian men are suffering in silence under domestic violence from their wives.
Unlike in the past when most men keep quiet because of masculine pride.
Nigerian women are a very violent species. How do I know this? Just visit an average Nigerian home with a househelp and you will weep the way these women brutalize these often under-aged people.
This man does not need a divorce. Simply sell the house at a forced sale price to any NURTW chairman and forget her. Make arrangements for the younger kids. Simple! Ure such a rare breed This write up got me off balance. U really hit the point straight. Anyway I don't allow my wife maltreat my househelp cos she knows the consequence. greatgod2012: I tell you! Heavy weight sef!
I wonder why it took them this long! I also wonder why the woman refuse the divorce with all those heavy accusation against the man. I think she should be happier to live without the man with the way she narated how the man has been treating her and the children.
However, it seems the man has so much maltreated the woman to the extent that she wants a "return match" for the man by refusing the divorce, knowing fully well that the man can not legally remarry if the 1st marriage is not legally dissolved. Dear friend, Dissolution is the best in this case. The woman clearly shows dt she is rude and unrepentant. There is nothing in this piece that shows that the man drinks or intoxicates that may warrant beating the woman. Some women once they marry just throw caution into the wind and and mess up the whole house, relationship, they lack respect for their husband and do all sort of terrible things. What on earth will make a married woman of 37yrs fight or quarrel in the presence of their grown up children. |

Eshinwaju: I agree with you.....let the man chose his own team...and be judged on that... U agree too. U will also agree with me that the most greedy set of politician today are the state governors. They weird big powers that makes then leave their primary assignments and poke their nose into other part of government. Some of their sins are. 1. They disobey the president at will in the name of federating units.e.g . a. Local government administration and control.so as to gather vote for themselves in future election. . b. Presidency by forming tyrannic rebellion against the president. Sometimes they fight the presidential aids and stampede them in their respective states. They push the president into taking decisions that will backfire after which they will keep mum ( fuel subsidy saga) . c. The judiciary is not left out as they have all been corruptly enriched through all manners of appellate decision taken to favour them. 2. Some ascribe the same powers to themselves as the president 3. Most have become lords operating in environment where most commissioners fear them alot 4. While majority sits on the federal funds coming in for important works. 5, their statefunds and IGR are unquestionably spent. Na who go ask them now. Yet they cry wolf where none exits. Maybe Jonathan was a better guy than most of these so called governors. Buhari no go free Una. Era of jegudujera has ended. |

its just misunderstanding, the girl may have done it innocently and the woman misunderstood it. i dont blame any of them. the girl is an African she should have known the implications of her actions from the unset, she just acted like a white woman. at least she should tasted the food.
anyway i think she should apologize to mama and tell her she didn't mean it the way she took it, she's a Nigerian so i trust she can conjure up a very nice lie.. I keep wondering what manner of ladies are groomed nowadays. It clearly shows that her own mother has not prepared her well for marriage. Most ladies nowadays don't know anything about marriage. Yet they complain of broken relationships and failed marriages here and there. The only thing they knw how to do is arguments and showing that they surf the internet more Tha anyone else, some even go the extent of just pinging all day long on useless things.
