Depay has a very good close control and he’s quite pacy too. In his own right he’s an excellent player. I don’t think the reason he didn’t make it at United is down to his footballing qualities.

Coach, tactics, Formation, team chemistry, personal issues, mentality, etc. It could be one of these. Or more.
