Nihilist: united fans don't care about keane too. we are rating his performance, not his private life. when he left, no one lit a candle for his departure. his shirt wasn't retired - it was quickly given to carrick(a player brought from spurs)....so what's the biggie? |

Casillas' latest error, which saw him allow Kucka's long-range strike to beat him straight down the middle, is likely to increase the pressure on Spain boss Vicente del Bosque to drop the Real Madrid man in favour of in-form Manchester United stopper David de Gea. http://www.goal.com/en/match/slovakia-vs-spain/1653171/report?=CMPID=FBINT_141009_SlovakiaSpainReport 1 Like |

Tyler Blackett to sign £50,000 p/w deal with United.. from £2,000 - £50,000, that's way too much for the lad. say £20/30K.. I see him being inconsistent soonest |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 10:23am On Oct 10, 2014 |
SetrakusRa: it's the wage structure..... the players who cannot get into the team are earning around that amount, how long do you think his agent would wait around for? blackett is supremely talented - his freekicks are heavenly. he's the biggest man utd revelation in 2014. i don't have any grudge against the young man at all. he deserves it. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 10:34am On Oct 10, 2014 |
Monaco said they were on a top English player, and that they are still confident o land him. All the papers said it's Rooney. Now, what's the essence of selling Falcao and wanting to sign a player who wouldn't take a pay of less than £250k, even if he were to take a pay cut by next summer? Is Monaco not confused? ... D thing dey confusion me fa. * One of Mata, Rooney, RVP will not be at United next season except if one of them is indifferent to taking a squad role, or Mata just hang around knowing that the other two are already aging. |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by ElFenomeno1: 10:42am On Oct 10, 2014 |
coogar: And you wonder why England are failing at almost every age level of international football! 50k/p/wk for Blackett because his free kicks are heavenly?! Are you having a pig sandwich Coogs?! Blackett shouldnt be earning more than 10k a week till he firmly establishes himself in the MUFC senior side. He is not there yet. 1 Like |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 10:58am On Oct 10, 2014 |
ElFenomeno1: obviously - if he's at arsënal, he would be earning like £2k/week. it's not about his skill level, it's the environment he has been fortunate to find himself. blackett is now a member of the senior squad - putting the same shift as the players taking £300k/week......he's british born too. seriously, do you think his agent would sit around on that pea-nuts he was taking before? you have to look at it in perspective..... |

coogar: You just can resist a jab at Wayne! Smh LOL |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 11:15am On Oct 10, 2014 |
ElFenomeno1: that's how the wage structure works....if gibbs & chambers are united players, they would be earning 2-3 times more. the pocket size of a club determines the player wages.......it's like comparing the wages of a security officer in chevron to that the security officer of a government-owned primary school in your village in gombe. who do you think would earn more? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by igbsam(m): 11:19am On Oct 10, 2014 |
I think United are spoiling our players too much. They should first prove themselves before increasing whatever wage they tend to give them. English players are known to relax and loose form after being given a fat pay. I hope they don't get this into blackett's head. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 11:22am On Oct 10, 2014 |
igbsam: he has proven himself already....apart from paddy mcnair, blackett has been our most impressive defender. he deserves a raise......paddy would soon get a raise too. if you don't increase their wages, other clubs would come for them & agents must survive. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by ElFenomeno1: 11:24am On Oct 10, 2014 |
coogar: You are disrespectful to think we dont have an impressive financial clout! LOL |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 11:39am On Oct 10, 2014 |
igbsam: coogar:I think it's abit too soon. Even if he should get a raise, I'm not sure it's to that tune. Dude is barely into his twenties. It's primarily the reason British players hardly get to their true potential. Last season Liverpool bumped Sterling's pay for reasons I'm still yet to decipher. Since then he's been a stinking pile of garbage. Since our own wonder boy got raised to 250k a week, his game has gotten progressively worse. 1 Like |

coogar: To that amount ? Its way too much bro. He isn't yet well established. We only saw him play how many games when the season is still very much fresh. yes he deserves an increase, but 50k is a no no for me. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 11:44am On Oct 10, 2014 |
StarBoard: there's money in their game. the skill level hardly matters. there's a special premium attached to british players...
sterling has been their best player this season. it's just unfortunate he's been surrounded by a steamy pile of shyte!
wayne "superman" rooney? igbsam: how much would you have asked for if you are blackett's father or senior brother? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by igbsam(m): 11:53am On Oct 10, 2014 |
coogar: Well since I'm not his father or brother speaking as a fan, I'd say 30k is enough for him as a starter just coming into the limelight of d senior team. You think cos he played only few games or 3 if I'm right that impressed people, other clubs wud just come from no where and spend big on him like dat ? You have a way of twisting issues cooger. I fear u o. You fit make chronic arm robber look like pastor o. |
