I think CR might start the next match. Casemiro did ok apart from one mistake we conceded a chance from. Varane and Martinez have definitely improved our defence. I actually had Varane as my man of the match.

What has improved our defense the last 3 matches is Ten hagg going more pragmatic refusing to push high or commit many bodies when attacking like the first 2 matches and asking De gea to kick the ball long rather than Playing from the back. Have we started playing high line with Varane/Martinez in defense...No, Have we started passing from the back with Varane/Martinez....No. We have faced 30 shots in the last 3 matches alone while losing the midfield battle in each of them.

I share the same sentiment with Patrickmuf. Casimero should start against Arsenal. And the front three should be ready to run and bury more chances.

So far, we've received about 17 yellow cards in the past five games. I was on the edge yesterday when 3/4 of the defence were on card. Someone was even suggesting Maguire coming in but I knew that we only need to put in the DM to stop Leicester nonsense in our midfield.

For obvious reasons, I think ETH wants a flexible front three... Those who are mobile and can switch positions at any time. I know with time, Ronaldo will get game time.

We must win against Arsenal oh. I won't mind the binary score lines for now but we need to up the goals. At times, goal difference comes a long way in helping.

The myth about what Dalot brings to the team has been addressed already. We were told about his attacking exploits, but that has not really been seen. He has improved on his defensive side though. His positional awareness has improved. However, I'll be more impressed with the team if they play much higher up the pitch for most of 90 minutes and maintain shape.

We stick lack the required controller so I think ETH is just doing what's necessary to win games for now. The team still has a long way to go but unfortunately that doesn't mean you can keep losing matches. ETH needs points on the board no matter what.
