Ryan Sessegnon has told Fulham he will not be signing a new contract offered to him by the club and looks set to leave ths summer, Sky Sports News understands. United should snap him up, perhaps as a backup for Shaw. |

BREAKING: Manchester United have confirmed that Juan Mata has been offered a new deal to stay with the club. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 6:08pm On Jun 07, 2019 |
At this time of year, players’ contracts are set to expire at all levels within Manchester United as the squads start to take shape in advance of the upcoming 2019/20 season. While some will inevitably move on, the Under-23s welcome the older members of the Academy group, who step up to Premier League 2 football. An intake of first-year scholars then replaces them in the Under-18s. Of course, all players named on the actual retained list published by the Premier League remain under contract to the club. In terms of the first team, it has already been confirmed that Ander Herrera and Antonio Valencia are leaving United after distinguished service in the red shirt. Juan Mata, meanwhile, has been offered a new contract. At Under-23s level, the club has taken up the option to extend midfielder Aidan Barlow’s deal. Fresh terms have also been offered to keepers Alex Fojticek and Paul Woolston, plus Italian defender Luca Ercolani. Several players who spent time away from the club on loan last term will be seeking deals with new teams as they continue their careers elsewhere. Regan Poole helped Newport County reach the League Two play-off final, while Zak Dearnley (Oldham Athletic), Tom Sang (AFC Fylde), Callum Whelan (Port Vale), Matty Willock (Crawley Town) and James Wilson (Aberdeen) also had loans away from Old Trafford. Of course, both defender Poole and striker Wilson have represented the United first team. Matthew Olosunde, Tyrell Warren, DJ Buffonge, Callum Gribbin, Millen Baars and Josh Bohui have also been released, as has Under-18s goalkeeper James Thompson. Culled from manutd.com |

Ole doesn't have the balls to make tough decisions from the look of things and it will be his undoing. |

No fuss no muss. Madrid don sign Hazard and Jovic within 2 weeks. But over in Manchester, it took one club one whole month to sign a 21 yr old Championship player. While "Mata and Rojo are confident they are in the Managers plans." Kill me!! 9 Likes

afrodoc2:trolling aside, y’all gat to be reasonable, how many players do u plan on selling in one transfer window? You want to sell 11 and buy another set of 11 in one window? Even Barca as attractive as they are can’t pull such stunt. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by ChristineC: 8:49am On Jun 08, 2019 |
kokaneprodigy:it's not difficult to release squad players who were not even available for the season and at least refill those spaces with lads from the youth set up. There's Tim Fosu-Mensah and Axel Tuanzebe who'd fill in without drop in quality or quantity. Marcos Rojo didn't even appear on team sheet for up to 10 games last season, if he's in anybody's plans then one wonders how useful such plans can be; except to be used as a sacrifice. 8 Likes 1 Share |

kokaneprodigy: This would have made sense if I had said we should sell 11 players in one window. I mentioned a few players, some of whom contributed little to nothing over the last season and you are here mentioning 11 players. And what does Barca have to do with anything? If you don’t have anything sensible to contribute just read, it’s not by force to post. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

afrodoc2:if u are half as sensible as you think you are, you’ll have read on this same board that some want Lukaku, Rashford , Lingard Sanchez and Martial out. That’s ur front line. Another set want Pogba out cos he’s tagged a virus, others are fed up with Matic and Fred. Others want Mata out Add your entire back line to the list won’t that be over 11 players sef. 4 Likes |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 10:10am On Jun 08, 2019 |
ChristineC:my point is y’all have a long list of players you want the club to bin, which is not possible in one transfer window. Also note that it’s not all about selling you need to replace with something presumed to be better. Plus you are not the only club shopping. At the end of the day some fans will be happy others won’t |

Manchester united have the highest number of released players (15) in the premier league this summer already (https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/11737119/premier-league-players-released-in-summer-2019) . We need to start bringing in bodies instead of worrying about who to ship out, once we bring in quality players, we can start thinking of selling more players. Real Madrid has concentrated more on recruiting players now and will take care of the deadwood (Bale & Co) later. Liverpool still have players(Lallana,Chamberlain etc) that barely kicked the ball last season in their books same way we have Rojo. Lukaku wants to leave, De Gea refused to agree on a new contract, Sanchez might leave, Pogba already thinking of joining Hazard in Madrid, we have lost Fellaini, Herreira and Valencia already. How many senior experience players can we afford to loose in 1 transfer window without proper acquisition?,are we going to be relying on young players like Rashford, Daniel James to stir us through a tough transitioning season. |

footiemaniac:Only 2 of the released players are in the first team most of the guys are in the U23s we need to do more have football players like Rojo Darmian Jones/Smalling Lingard should be on the transfer list we have too many deadwood in the team |
