Harry Kane has tops 2 good years left in him.
His injury problem is worsening - it’s evident in his dwindling number of appearances in the last 3 seasons.

And can our medical department handle his condition well? Remember how they’ve been fantastic and yet we keep having an injury crises every season.

And you know this how??

A certain someone also said Aguero was finished some years ago (we all know how that turned out).

Lol.. See the way u are stating it as a fact that Harry Kane would be done for on or b4 29 years of age.

NB: He is not the first striker at 27 to have had a few injury problems. Aguero also had/has injury issues every now and then.. Not every striker can be like Lewandoski that almost never gets injured.

If u say the fee is too much because of the impact of covid-19, I get that but saying Harry Kane has a maximum of two more years at the top is just pure comedy...

Yes, He needs playing time. But Man utd board will be incredibly stupid to sell him grin

I'm sure if we get a striker next season, the best idea will be loaning him out. I'm sure Dortmund will still accept Greenwood on loan sef. And if they don't, there are other good top teams outside England that will accept him on loan

You're right. Overtime, Dortmund has developed a lot of players...he will surely do well there...but then Haaland is already there playing full time undecided

If he doesn't play at Dortmund, there are other good clubs in Germany like Schalke, Wolfsburg and the likes that will gladly take him in a season long loan and he'll get full playing time.

Even championship in England is there too. But I don't know if Solskjaer will allow him go on loan because he seems to like the lad

You can say I’m harsh and that will be okay but saying what you said means you have no idea of how things are. I didn’t say Harry Kane will be done for before 2 years, I said he has 2 good season left in him. There’s a clear difference.

What I mean is that Harry Kane, after completing this season and the next 2 seasons will offer much less than what he’s offered for the last 5 years.

Also, you can’t compare Aguero and Harry Kane. Haba. Have a look at their stats for the last 7 years.

19/20
Harry Kane (will be 27 in July)- 25 matches played,17 goals,2 assists (Goal contribution/match - 0.76). Injuries- 3, matches missed due to injury-17
Aguero (will be 31 in June)- 30 matches,23 goals,3 assists (0.87). Injuries- 1, matches missed-7

18/19
HK (aged 26)- 40,24,6 (0.75). Injuries-2, matches missed 17
AG (aged 30)- 46,32,10 (0.91). Injuries- 2,8

17/18
HK (aged 25)-48,41,5 (0.96) Injuries- 3,4
AG (aged 29)- 39,30,7 (0.95) Injuries-3,11

16/17
HK (aged 25)- 38,35,7 (1.11) . Injuries- 2,14
AG (aged 28)- 45,33,7 (0.87). 1,1

15/16
HK (aged 23)- 50,28,2 (0.6). 0,0
AG (aged 27)-44,29,5 (0.77) 2,11

14/15
HK (aged 22) - 51,31,6 (0.53). 0,0
AG (aged 26) - 42,32,9 (0.98) . 1,7

13/14
HK (aged 21) - 27,12,7 (0.70). 1,11
AG (aged 25) - 34,28,14(1.24). 4,17

Aguero’s “injury woes” cannot be compared with Harry Kane’s injury crisis.

Harry Kane has suffered more injuries and has missed more games due to injury than Aguero in the last 5 years. And Aguero is the older player.

Aguero had an injury problem once-2013/14 when he missed 17 games. Since then he barely misses more than 10 games a season due to injury.

Harry Kane’s injury problems have been repetitive of late. He missed 17 games last season and is set to miss up to 25 games this season had the Corona pandemic not halted fixtures.

If Harry Kane doesn’t deal with his injury problems quickly, there’s a good chance he’ll miss a good number of games and his goal contributions will keep dropping.

Even if he manages to be fit next season, I don’t think he will be able to keep it up for many years because he’s been playing in the EPL since he turned 20. Most attackers aged 30 and above usually don’t have a healthy goal/game ratio in the EPL.

The stats show that Harry Kane seems to be on the decline since he averaged that fantastic 1.11 goal contribution/game 4 years ago. The last 2 years he has been a shadow of his old self.

The guy who said Aguero was finished no sabi anything. Even when he was injured, Aguero’s goal contributions were clear to see. That guy is a world class striker. And he isn’t as hyped as Harry Kane.

Kane injuries is due to lack of rest both from Tottenham and England..... He will play Fa cup, EPL, stilll play EFL sometimes, ....nobody to relieve him.....

Aguero had Dzeko, Ballotelli, Jesus, Negredo, over the years to play some games, .....Pep do bench aguero in some big games....

Nobody is talking about Sancho price of 100m........ England and hyping cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy.

If Kane can overcome this injury woes, he willll end up breaking Alan Shearer EPL goal record and Wayne Rooney England record.

Aguero has obviously scored more and we can see that he has a better support cast and better coaching than Kane has had

Fixture congestion is not an excuse. Mane and Salah have more exhaustive fixture lists than Harry Kane in the last few years. They've also traveled longer distances to play those games.

LOOL. So Harry Kane is better than Aguero?

Kane had Erikson feeding him and is the main man in Tottenham. He is the one on the tail end of through balls and is on penalty duties too. In City, all roads don't lead to Aguero and he's rarely on penalty duties.

Apart from this, Aguero at his peak shiits on Kane at his peak.

At age 25,

Aguero - 34 games ,28 goals,14 assists (1.24 goal contribution per game). Injuries- 4, games missed due to injury-17
Harry Kane - 48,41,5 (0.96) Injuries- 3,4

Age 26

AG - 42,32,9 (0.98) . 1,7
HK - 40,24,6 (0.75). Injuries-2, matches missed 17

Age 27
AG -44,29,5 (0.77) 2,11
Harry Kane - 25 ,17 ,2 assists (0.76). Injuries- 3, matches missed due to injury-17

At age 24
AG - 40,17,5 (0.55). Injuries - 3,9
HK - 38,35,7 (1.11) . Injuries- 2,14

Age 23
AG- 48, 30,12 (0.86) . 0,0
HK (aged 23)- 50,28,2 (0.6). 0,0

Age 22
AG (La Liga) - 41, 27,7 (0.83). 0,0
HK - 51,31,6 (0.53). 0,0

Even when they had a similar supporting cast (age 22)- Aguero was in Atletico Madrid and Kane was in Tottenham. Aguero still shat on him.

So, you want me to believe that a striker who has missed a whole season worth of games in the last 2 years and has a dwindling goal/game ratio is just entering his prime? LMAO.

Okay. Let Bayern Munich pay the 200m and carry the Harry Kane then.

For Eriksen, Kun has some of the best playmakers, including the top assist givers in the league for multiple seasons. Players like David Silva, KdB and Sterling

Aguero is rarely on penalty duties? So who is Citys main penalty taker? Between last season and this. Aguero has taken 10 penalties for City.

Even when they had a similar supporting cast (age 22)- Aguero was in Atletico Madrid and Kane was in Tottenham. Aguero still shat on him.

.

Kane at 21 in 2014/15 scored 21 league goals, At 22yrs he scored 25 goals
Aguero left Atletico at 22, he never scored 21 league goals in a single season for Atletico

Okay. Let Bayern Munich pay the 200m and carry the Harry Kane then.

Bayern doesn't need a striker for now, when we do I won't mind Kane. He is the closest striker to Lewandoski in skillset

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by footiemaniac: 1:48pm On Apr 18, 2020
We never learn, I don't believe people are saying we don't need a proper number 9. Barely few months ago we were scrambling for (Josh King, Ighalo, etc ) on transfer deadline day. If we want to be the force to reckon with again, we can't rely on Rashford, Martial,Ighalo and Greenwood to lead the line and take us back to glory days.

We have to sign a proper striker and Harry Kane is the final piece of that jigsaw. He is a fox in the box, can shoot from distance, threat from setplay, good hold up play, good on the counter, good first touch, quick on the half turn, and he his a proper goal scorer that takes is chances.

Games this days are decided on small margin, players like Harry Kane, Salah, Mane, Aguero etc can win games for you on their own. You want us to rely on indomie Martial that blew hot and cold all season because of his recent form?

Let me stop fantasizing, I know Daniel Levy and Mourinho will not sanction the sale of Harry Kane to Manchester united. If he becomes truly available ,we have to go for him. He would have rested enough now and recover from his injuries during this pandemic. His batteries would have been recharged and ready to go. He his at the peak of his career now, matured with enough experience to lead the line for club like Manchester united.
