Nice one. This means it can even be powered by solar energy. The solar panel can just be on the top of the car. |

NOICELESS,FUEL-LESS_NO ENGINE,JUST BATRIES! Even if the cars runs on Solar energy it still needs engine, and you honestly believe 5 12volts battery could run a car up to 70 KPH? |

What's special about it? Is it not electric motor? Converting electrical energy to magnetic energy by passing current through two parallel wires. Every pikin in inter-science class can do it, plz we need something different cuz I have better ideas. |

Why do we celebrate mediocrity? The key is whether this project is novel, that is, is it different from all the prior existing inventions? The answer is no. Battery-powered cars have been made for over 20 years, and now the technology has evolved to hybrid cars. There are also full-electric cars, and the batteries are made of lithium and can last anywhere from 150-300 miles on one charge. The latest technology in electric cars are high-performance electric cars, that is, electric cars that boast around 400-500 horse power, can go from 0-60mph in less than 10seconds, and can drive for 150-350 miles on a single charge. The leading companies with the high-performance electric cars are Tesla Motors and Fisker motors, both from the United States. To make a make-shift version of existing technologies is not something to be celebrated. Let's celebrate novelty. |

Imagine driving from Lagos to Maiduguri, a distance of about 22 hours without fuel in your car. Well, just before you say this can only happen in the dream, consider a recent technological breakthrough achieved by Covenant University, CU, Ota, Ogun State.source @OP, CU get patent on this "E-election biometric system"? 1 Like |

Its unfortunate that some think this isn't innovation. Electric cars have existed for a while now but that doesn't mean we can't build on it. Phones existed before China phones started. Now even Nokia has a dual sim. Cars existed before Kia started, now see how they've grown. Myspace existed before facebook started. You don't have to be the first inventor, you can build on other peoples work. |
