tracyorez: Your relationship with your account officer is no longer official, how can you ask him to transfer money from your account without you signing to show you approved the transaction. In short you have handed over to account to your account officer, the next thing is that he will be the one getting alerts for transactions on the account. I just hope this relationship is strictly business 9 Likes 2 Shares |

emmanuelewumi:It is strictly business. Update. I got alert of 500k on the account he opened for me and not the one I used for the tbills transaction last night after bringing it here. I called him this morning as it was already late that yesterday and he said he thought it was the complete money that was reversed. I told him the account is not the one In the tbills certificate and that I am giving him till 12 noon to reverse my whole money or I will take it up. He started begging that he is in a hospital now that I should give him small time and almost crying but I dropped the call. If I don't get my full alert by 12 noon today,I will visit his head office. |

CsRockefeller:I don't know what to tell you but you need to have a passion for the business you do,not just money. For example my hubby prefers I open a drug store or pharmacy and employ a pharmacist,I know it's profitable but I don't have a passion for it so I declined the offer and opened the one I love instead and it is favouring me so far by the grace of God. I have experience as I have worked with several phone companies as a single girl e.g Nokia,Samsung and blackberry offices. It will be better if you run it yourself and employ 1 or 2 persons for a start to understand the biz first.we are all learning, including me. I hope this helps. Plus,if you have a trusted person in china,South Korea or dubai to be importing phones and accessories, especially accessories for you then you are made. 5 Likes |

ojesymsym: Perhaps she is giving him benefit of the doubt ...but as you rightly say something fishy is going on ...... 12 Noon is not too far for him to redeem himself by paying all the money .......all the crying is just to play the emotional card ,first he has a issues with his family now he is in the Hospital . I have learnt one or two lesson from the whole scenario 1 Like |

There is no benefit of doubt here, officially she has no business with the said guy per say but with the bank. The guy is just a representative of the bank. abraolas1: 5 Likes |

ojesymsym:I wanted to send it last night and realised I have to include date I invested and expiry date which I need the print out to confirm first. So I will have to go to the bank and get another print out before I can proceed with the mail that was why I gave him till 12 noon. I see that he is shivering so like you said earlier, the loan may not be connected with the tbills which I will find out from their head office today, when I go for the print out because I will ask for a manager and report the case to him or her first. And he will have to explain how the alert of 500 plus he credited me with came about cos thats not the account on the tbills certificate. I will post update here You guys have really been helpful so far. Thanks all. 1 Like |

My dear I am more nervous than you think just taking it easy cos I know I must get to the root of the matter cos I walked into first bank and did a transaction so there are records. 4 Likes |

LOL... u don come again. Anyway, non be every story be fake. There are far more people who are lax with their accounts than you can imagine. Most people are afraid to be the reason why someone not serious with their job eventually lost the job and so will hesitate to send emails like she is doing right now. My own experience some years ago made me not to border going to the bank for situations like this, just send email, the email de go head office so na the branch manager himself go call you with abeg ma. No ma, you could have just sent mail stating the date you expected it to mature, they will do their own investigation and tell you the correct date if you are wrong. I get it sha, u don't want to be the reason the guy is gets query at work or eventually loose his job. tracyorez: 1 Like |

tracyorez:If the loan is not connected to the Tbill, then you are assuming that First Bank just gave you a 1.5m unsecured loan just like that. With no collateral, no salary account, no business account. Impossible! Not making a case for the guy but there is no way the loan is not connected to the Tbill (or another security that he arranged). Better ask him to send you the loan documents immediately to review before approaching the bank’s head office. You will look stupid going to the head office without all the necessary documents/information. Hope the guy has not been sacked sha. If so, then I’m afraid you may be sitting on a very long thing as you essentially gave him access to everything. Good luck! |

ojesymsym: Quite true. Some parents in my son's school got cozy with some teachers and staff in accounts department that they will transfer school fees to those staff or teachers to pay school fees for their wards instead of transferring to the school's account. Some of the teachers and staff used the money to sort out their problems without using it for the school fees. By the time they discovered, some of the teachers and staff have left the employment of the school. |

Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by emmanuelewumi(m): 11:35am On Nov 12, 2020 |

In my life I've met with stinkingly rich men that find it hard to even spell their names, many are very lax with their account officers and bank managers Woe be tide that bank manager or account officer that would mess with this men, you can pay with your life to be caught wanting on a missing #1000 in their account......, If you have to call head office or be copying Twitter, you are not there yet, just acknowledge your place and follow due process |
