Please is longer tenure better than shorter tenure? Please you people should put me through i am learning.
It all depends on when you need your funds back..
It's all about planning...!!!
Invest in a tenor that you are sure you won't liquiate your funds abruptly.
Example,if you are planning to use your funds this coming January 2019 on a project, you should invest in @ 90days tenor.
You see,it's all about planning and timing..
I prefer longer tenor(364 days) because I'm always sure i have no use for the invested funds.

if u buy at 15 then rate drop to 10 and u choose to sell before maturity u will make profit ,but if u buy at 10 and rate jump to 15 and u choose to liquidate u loose money

Na waooo So no one can guide me on secondary market bidding! I want to know if I can go for d secondary market tomorrow??

Yes you can to your bank for secondary market tomorrow (Monday 3rd). Ask the customer care officer that you want to invest in TB and will guide you accordingly. Its that simple.

Feel free to ask any other specific question, we are here for you.

Hope this helps

park well Mr man. someone here also attest to the fact he was told the least amount for Tb is 1m in first bank .....so what are u now trying to prove like u are rite, others don't??
Who said anything like being right

I said those staff are liars . and I showed a screenshot of a response I got when I sent them a mail about it sometime ago and they said it’s 100k.
Next second you jumped on me and started asking me is change not constant anymore because I got the mail in June
Now you’re talking about how someone attested to it .
I bet you only selected what you wanted to hear cos I don’t know why you decided to ignore this person that responded to your question almost immediately
lancee:
It's a lie , i was told u can start from 100k ..u can as well subscribe for secondary market
But you decided to pick that person that said she was told the same thing .
Who am I to tell you what to do with your money .
Go do whatever you want boss man.

Kindly forget that method..!!!
It's never advisable..☄☄
It's not worth it...
What about the liquidation charges..?
At the end,you will find out that you gained little or nothing after the whole stress....
The bank will be on an eagle-watch☄☄
and can decide to rip you off...!!!!,

We are talking about individual suscribers, not banks or investment houses.....!!
You will gain little or nothing liquidating your T.B as an individual suscriber..☄☄
You will always be at the mercy of the bank if you try liquidating your TB prematurely.

Lol..,our financial institutions will rip you off based on your gains...!!!
I understand you lucidly......
You should also understand that the people who are privileged to gain from this full are banks and investment houses......!!!!
As a customer who wants to liquidate his/her TB,the banks will tell you the rates they can buy from you, resale at the Secondary markets to an impending customer...

True Yield is your actual return on investment..
Your yield becomes even higher if you reinvest your upfront interest instead of consuming it..
Divide the tenor you invested by days 365...that is your true yield..
You are investing your upfront interest to its lowest ends....

If you invest 1,000000 at 13% your interest will be=
1,000000 ×13/100 =130,000
Your actual interest is 130,000
☄☄ STEP 2
True Yield
1,000,000 - 130,000=870,000
Then,divide 130,000/870,00=0.1494%
Finally, muliply 0.1494% by 100=14.9%
