I have come to the conclusion that this post was deliberately created for the purpose of generating page hits and traffic (interpretation: google adwords revenue to NL stakeholders). As a result, I will no longer actively participate on this thread as there is nothing to learn or gain from here other than the typical "naija" behavior of "i sabi pass my neighbor"

Do you know .ini file? It is used in PHP, it is used in many programming languages, do you also know of .inf files? Well, these are examples of flat-file databases, they are still in use in this age and time.

Ahem, in real life and online are different. Even during playful periods, people come and read stuffs, and many newbies also come to learn from all these nonsense, so that is why i try to clarify things so that people especially newbies dont get things muddled.

And yes, web programming work involves and takes a lot of discipline - not beans at all - and it is very lucrative for those that can handle it properly.

@shilling tnx, cant remember thanking you earlier for your feedback, gt distracted. Your post was on point, just look at the amount of traffic it has generated. I personally attribute this problem to the hacks that think that because they can open up corel draw and have gone through a couple of tutorials on w3schools therefore they are automatically webmasters. Its a shame, on the flip side however, because of these hacks people now are steadily appreciating good webmasters and are paying them well for their services, I can personally testify to that.
