kemesty:. Please I don't mean to scare you but I must say you really need to be careful and prayerful. I experienced this same thing in my 1st pregnancy.I started bleeding from the 1st month till I lost the pregnancy.I did not enjoy my honeymoon because I discovered I was pregnant few days to my wedding.I went for scan and was told everything was ok yet I was seriously bleeding with clots for 3monthhs I was putting on pad,i was changing pad like every now and then.Notin wey I no ask google o until the whole thing finally poured out and I was rushed to scanning center and I was told incomplete abortion that I should go and flush the d remaining thing in the hospital.Sorry am just sharing my experience with you and dnt be scared because even this 2nd pregnancy would have been the same if not for God and early treatment because I was bleeding too though not heavy bleeding and no clot.My elder sis and mother inlaw no rest o I was rushed to our family nurse that really took her time to treat me and she explained that my cervix was opened and I could have lost the baby but thank God am 6months plus now.I sincerely do not know anything about pregnancy o bc I never born before.Am sure we have experienced mamas here that will throw more light. 1 Like |

Hi, don't misunderstand me o! Its not because of her peculiar situation but its the fact that people generally shouldn't be under any pressure whatsoever to behave they way the world wants them to. You do things when you are absolutely convinced that its he right time to do so. Ummtwins2 understands my angle. So if anyone wants to get angry I didn't tell them about the baby on time. kemesty ,I had a similar experience in my first pregnancy, was seeing drops of blood although not much to fill a pad ,I was also told its threatened abortion, I was placed on bed rest and I was OK afterwards. I don't know if cerclage can still be done now ,experienced mums will shed more light,but try and adhere strictly to the bird rest.May God preserve you and yours. 1 Like |

GenyEbere, I have no idea, but I would suggest you take him to the hospital tonight; that is what night shift is for na. Sometimes 1 hr can make a difference with these infections. Kemesty, an open cervix will spill out the content of the womb. The cervix is supposed to stay shut till few hours to the commencement of labour. Soonest, what say you about Camoquine in first trimester? Barak4real, your Dr will prescribe a good Ca Tab for you, talk to him. Placenta previa is when the placenta lies below the foetus. As the baby grows, he gets bigger and puts pressure on the placenta. This can cause the placenta to rupture, placenta is your baby's oxygen and food tank. The placenta also blocks the cervix. Placenta must not first baby to come out. Usually scans in the first trimester are hazy. They are mostly for dating. The baby and its co-tenants are just settling in so nothing stays fixed yet. The placenta will most likely move up by 3rd trimester but if it doesnt, brace up for CS. It is not a death sentence, it is a smart way to save your baby. Who did I miss? 6 Likes 1 Share |
