Stretching Exercises for Pregnancy
Stretching exercise make the muscles limber and warm, which can be especially helpful when you're pregnant. Here are some simple stretches you can perform before or after exercise:

Neck rotation: Relax your neck and shoulders. Drop your head forward. Slowly rotate your head to your right shoulder, back to the middle, and over the left shoulder. Complete four, slow rotations in each direction.
Shoulder rotation: Bring your shoulders forward and then rotate them up toward your ears and then back down. Do four rotations in each direction.
Swim: Place your arms at your sides. Bring your right arm up and extend your body forward and twist to the side, as if swimming the crawl stroke. Follow with left arm. Do the sequence ten times.
Thigh shift: Stand with one foot about two feet in front of the other, toes pointed in the same direction. Lean forward, supporting your weight on the forward thigh. Change sides and repeat. Do four on each side.
Leg shake: Sit with your legs and feet extended. Move the legs up and down in a gentle shaking motion.
Ankle rotation: Sit with your legs extended and keep your toes relaxed. Rotate your feet, making large circles. Use your whole foot and ankle. Rotate four times on the right and four times on the left.

Kegel Exercises During Pregnancy
Kegel exercises help strengthen the muscles that support the bladder, uterus, and bowels. By strengthening these muscles during your pregnancy, you can develop the ability to relax and control the muscles in preparation for labor and birth. Kegel exercises are also highly recommended during the postpartum period to promote the healing of perineal tissues, increase the strength of the pelvic floor muscles, help these muscles return to a healthy state, and increase urinary control.

To do Kegels, imagine you are trying to stop the flow of urine or trying not to pass gas. When you do this, you are contracting the muscles of the pelvic floor and are practicing Kegel exercises. While doing Kegel exercises, try not to move your leg, buttock, or abdominal muscles. In fact, no one should be able to tell that you are doing Kegel exercises. You can do them anywhere!

Went for antenatal yesterday Monday 39wks+ and after all the check the midwife said I have protein ++ in my urine, the color of the urine very dark and my feet are swollen but pb normal 110/70. She advised that I reduce salt intake which I don't even know how to do that, raise my feet and drink lots of water. Sabi mamas is there any other thing l should do cause I'm a bit worried. Hoping to deliver this baby soon


That's all you have to do mama. Add watermelon, banana, cucumber and oranges to your diet and drink water like fish. Mine was ++ before, now I only have a trace of protein in my urine 1%. Drink lots of water, water, water.

mama am doing fine oo...that oza room exercise is the only exercise I have been doing oo... Dh is not complaining he is happy am not even rejecting it cause of the baby...

That's how my baby is too ...calm, slight kicks and movement but not always.. Sometimes I see the movement on my Tommy.. It's a Wow feeling Jehovah God is amazing..

Please mamas who else is having heart burns... Mine is not going at all its here to stay.. The pain is not funny at all... Worst of all am an ulcer patient.. Doc said I will feel the pain now more than ever because of the pregnancy..
cry cry...mama please if there is any other exercise I can do that is safe..please recommend for me.. I take walks sometimes when I feel like...

BS. very long post Alert!!!!
Got pregnant when I was expecting and didn't know until 2months after cos I didn't have morning sickness. Was very upset with dh as if he raped me.
went to my Dr and she said i should see it as God's blessings cos with the kind of irregular cycle (50- 120days) i have its usually difficult to conceive. After then i started thanking God.
Fast forward to 32weeks, I went for my first Drs appointment in the US . my urine sample was taken and the sonographer did scan and said she wasn't going to say anything to me that my Dr will explain to me after, I became curious and i saw she wrote polyhydramnios(too much amniotic fluid). Then my Dr came and said he is very worried about me, that the sugar in my urine is too much and my amniotic fluid is too much (26cm). He then said i needed to come in the next day for my glucose test. I told him I drank plenty orange juice and ate 4slices of bread b4 coming so that would have influenced the result. i tried to reschedule to my next appointment he said i met to have done this test 2months ago in Najia so I'm already late. i went home that day and started drink lemon infused water to reduce the sugar level grin.
The result came out normal and after weeks of monitoring the amniotic fluid level it miraculously dropped to normal. it was my shiloh request.

My edd was 20th/24th of Dec, I was seriously expecting baby to come earlier since it wasn't my first. both dates passed i became uneasy. was taking long walks, climb stair case, doing exercises, ate 4 whole pineapple and drank raspberry leaf tea still no show instead Braxton Hicks became stronger. At 38weeks VE was done i was 1cm dilated i had hopes cos I started loosing mucus plug but without blood stain, at 39weeks 1 and half cm and membrane sweep was done. i began to get upset . I will cry and lament when dh calls that why is God doing me like this dh just kept encouraging me and praying for God to help me.
After the membrane sweep i was expectant still no show. went for 40weeks appointment still 1cm dilated and another membrane sweep was done. The Dr decided to induce me on the 31st of Dec but I got a call from them saying Induction will take place on the 3rd jan oh I was broken pelvic pain, pressure from baby I could barely walk. At 41weeks i went for another appointment and i was checked and it was 3cm. Dr did another membrane sweep this time it was so painful coupled with the pains around my pelvic. Dr said i want u to do it naturally I don't want to induce u. with that statement i cried to dh that even the Dr knows how painful induction can be. it was then my dh said don't worry u will use Epidural in a worse case scenario. the igbo in me did the conversion of the dollar cost to naira and decided to do without it.
oh God bless @Giddyperson she was a good birth partner, we kept encouraging ourselves all the way.

On the 2nd i read a post on instagram from a friend that said she didn't focus on her Edd but on Gdd (God's delivery date) she had her baby on the 3rd of January 2018 and her Edd was 28th Dec. My spirit just said this is the date.
I was given an antiseptic liquid to bath with 2days b4 the induction all in preparation for the induction , the paper work and questions scared me more(oyibo fit kill person all in the Name of preparing u).

The D-day came i went in for the induction the nurses started guessing and jesting how dilated I was. I was checked and it was 3cm and half. Enema was done to remove poop from my intestine. pitocin drip was administered at 11: 40am and i started feeling tightening in my stomach. she said its not contraction that when i started having contractions i won't be on that bed again she checked and asked if i was having pain I said no. she said she can see the contractions are 10-12mins apart and are pretty regular . After 2hrs she checked and i was 5cm she asked if i wanted Epidural i said no that I can't feel pain. By then the contractions were no 5-7mins apart. Asked of my Dr and they said he is on vacation shocked but his assistant is around. She came in shortly and inserted something and broke my water. Then i started feeling normal menstrual cramps but bearable i just put my mantle on my stomach and was declaring cervix dilate and baby move down now in Jesus. After 2hrs I was checked and they said 7 -8cm and i can no longer take the epidural i was happy I saved that money grin. The contraction started coming back to back. They went and brought labor ball that I should come sit on it and roll my waist on it to help dilation. i did it for 2mins and went back to my bed cos I could manage the pain better there. Next thing i started feeling the urge to push. i started screaming call my Dr. they said my Dr was sitting outside waiting for everything to be ready. Then an older nurse came in obviously more experienced she checked and said 9cm and half and asked me to lay on my left side. i was still resisting when my friend in the labor room with me gave me eye and said i should cooperate with her that she seems very experienced. I just did and i started feeling my baby . Dr came in and i was asked to push i just pushed forceful twice screaming Jesus and baby came out at 8:54pm. i saw them giving her surgical blade but didn't know when she gave me a cut cos of the labor pain. They took the baby weighed him,the nurses and my friend screamed 10pounds 5ounces and i was like what is that in kg they said 4.6kg. my Drs eyes changed like she won't have allowed vaginal delivery if they knew. The placenta was delivered immediately and the stitching started not so painful though but took awhile. i started shivering uncontrollably other parts of my body was covered except my legs to enable her finish the stitching i started getting impatient cos of the cold and she said she is almost done that I had a 2nd degree tear. Another pitocin drip was administered for like 3hrs contractions continued but not as painful . i asked why they said to contract the uterus back since my baby was very big.
Then the devil wanted to show it ugly sef I felt blood pumping out of my system.i called the nurse she checked but wasn't sure if it was normal she called my Dr and she asked me to hold the 2sides of the bed and she pressed my stomach it was so painful that I grabbed her hands and she was like it's for ur own good so u have to bear unless u want to bleed to death. i said i will not bleed to death. my friend just said think of ur boys and bear. The pressing continued and i was told the pressing will be done every 15minutes. An injection was given i asked for what they said its is like a re-reinforcement for the pitocin shocked. Omo the contraction increased so as to push out the blood so it doesn't gather in my uterus and help the uterus contract back. The stomach pressing time then reduce to every 30mins when they were sure I wasn't bleeding. i was finally moved to postpartum ward at 1am with the pitocin drip. I was given iron supplement and painkiller. It was quite and experience. But above all I think God of Oyedepo cos he was there.
Music helped me manage the contraction. i kept listening to Onise Iyanu by Nathaniel bassey (anointed musician) that has always been my labor room song. He has always showed me so much mercy .

To my Junior mamas especially the August whom Ms is still doing strong thing, it will soon be over and you will start the honeymoon phase. It's so sweet that you just forget about all the Ms. All you will be doing is glowing , catwalking and tantalizing Dh all over the house especially the oza room.

To all our mamas that their journey were stopped abruptly and all mothers and fathers of Nations, Oh lord remember them early and restore unto them double for their trouble in this fresh and fertile year 2019 to your glory alone. We pray oh Lord. In Jesus wondrous name we pray. Amen.


To my sweetest May team, my able cappo sunbestie, Astilo and others I believe that we are doing marvelously great and actively exercising very well in the oza room giving Dh different styles cowgirl, doggy, one leg up and others as the spirit leads and your muscles can carry you (/pls nobody should ask for description as me too don't know them, but all I know is that missionary is not working for me now) .


Rant Time
Whenever I sit flat on the floor and raise my leg in such a way that the foot is placed flat on the ground and kneel pointing up, I feel so much pain in the abdomen. Please is it normal or I should be concerned about it? Being FTM I don't know which one is normal and when water is becoming excess to the garri.

And the way I feel pressed now is something else. I urinate like horse. The more I drink water, the more I feel urge to urinate more. Should I reduce the fluid I take so as to reduce the frequency? In a day, I change pants like 3 times. If I cough hard, or laugh too much, urine must escape my vijajanah.
Pleasey Phd holders in this ministry, health care givers in the ministry should answer your troubled baby sister.

Lastly my baby is too gentle and sleeps alot. All he does is just little stretching when he wakes and a gentle tapping here and there once in a while. Is there anything I can do to make him more active like playing football, basketball or even jumping upandan on the cushion.

May we all carry to term and behold our LO in our hands. Amen.

Sabi mamas in the house pls help me look into these. Am 36 weeks pregnant. Went for weekly ante natal clinic yday and doc told me i was measuring small, i was measuring 30 weeks as against 36 weeks. Meanwhile i was at d hospital last week and everything was fine. Baby was measuring 35 weeks last week. I was told to go for a scan. Babys heartbeat is fine. Though i want to seek another opinion today before i go for the scan.
My question is how posible can my baby go from 35 weeks to 30 weeks just within a week. Who has experienced this before and what was the outcome. Pls help a worried ftm
I don't like dat tape measurement because it can give person hpb. Calm down or better just go do another scan to be sure. It is well mama

Enjoy ur oza room exercise cheesy
Heartburn na my second name since I started this pregnancy wat I did is to stay away from d foods dat triggers it like bread, beans, over peppery things and even hot food.. I eat these foods but not always. Am taking my centacid ( antacid antiflatulent) always and it helps me a lot.

Rub DH head well in the other room make him buy you rechargeable fan abeg cos the heat dey do press up for night oo. Na so i dey survive the heat oo. Once gen go off i on the fan immediately and na 6 hours e dey stay when. Its fully charged

Heartburn na my second name since I started this pregnancy wat I did is to stay away from d foods dat triggers it like bread, beans, over peppery things and even hot food.. I eat these foods but not always. Am taking my centacid ( antacid antiflatulent) always and it helps me a lot.
I was given Danacid.. And even gaviscon..

Rub DH head well in the other room make him buy you rechargeable fan abeg cos the heat dey do press up for night oo. Na so i dey survive the heat oo. Once gen go off i on the fan immediately and na 6 hours e dey stay when. Its fully charged
once the heat start like this... I will just sleep naked..and open my windows oo. . It helps me oo
