you must have wifi to allow it download the latest software when you set it up the first time.

why do u need bar files? have you downloaded all the available apps from BB World?

So sorry about the issues you are having, not gotten it from those that brought from me. maybe its the updates, cus i stopped at the second 2.0.1826 updates.

i guess if you can downgrade the os please do hope that work and lastly you can ask drumme he is good with them pb issues. sorry about the issues you having.

when you wipe a Blackberry device, it restores to factory settings. on a PB, you need to have internet access via wifi when its done wiping so it can verify it has the latest software and download.

Just a curious question, why were u wiping a new PB?

Hello everyone ..am having issue with my playbook 64G , I'm finding it difficult to update its software to version 2.1.0.1526 size 322mb whenever it 101 megabite I will get an error message saying the software was interuted ...I ve got' this message up to 4 times now.... Aint know what to do . I was using 9900 hotspot with etisalat 3G now am using a wireless router as am typing this message to update it 54 of 322mb now ..
