Medical rehabilitation(physiotherapy) is not bad. Medical lab sci course will soon fall among the pecking order.

@Liverpool man......it been ages here..........i will be going for my service this Nov........and i really wish d best for all physiologist in this house.......i've been trying to introduce this forum to some other cardiac perfusionist and exercise physiologist from Australia and NZ and also to british expatriates......to see how they can assist us with info......honestly physiology is not as bad as they make us feel......just open ur eyes to opportunity.........more info coming for all physiologist.......long live SPAN.

Liverpoolfc: Pls, i will not advice any one to port from physiology to med lab. med lab is not worth porting to. of the basic med science, physiology still remains the first choice of course. for you in 100L, if you can port to mbbs do, if you cant, do your best in physiology and know your pharmacology @ least, you will be guaranteed a job with pharmaceutical industry.
i wish physiology can be made an applied course. For all the graduates of physiolgy, you can work as med rept in pharms. you can teach, you can lecture. pls dont stay @ home doing notin. you can do your msc and lecture. God bless you ALL.

Mr Liverpool What makes you fink Medical lab Science as a proffessional course is not to be preffered to a BMS like physiology. As for your information, medlab as a profession has come to stay in Naija. I think you are one of those BMS graduates who are bitter with The medical laboratory science council of Nigeria for stoping the BMS graduates switch to Medlab. Med lab sci is now hot cake in Nigerian universities because of the great oppurtunities it presents to its graduates. My dear 100l student if you can switch to Medlab do so and you will be happy you did, ok?

Med lab sci is a professional prog and in nigeria, that weigh better than any other non-professional courses(anatomy, physiology, public health) under faculty of medicine and health sci.
Pls read previous comments of anatomy and physiology grad, and think.

though none of them is good but mls is better than physiology and physiology in better than anatomy. Sincerely the only two medical course that worth it in 9Ja are mbbs and pharmacy. Wn I say pharmacy not to go and stay in hospital and dispense drug but the business part of it.

i am a Medical laboratory science student and am proud to be one because i whole heartedly applied for it. After my 5th year i will go for my 1year internship in any Teaching hospital then NYSC.I will also love to do my PG abroad and I want to specialise in medical microbiology because of my desire to find cure to diseases both herbally and medically. TO BE GREAT IS NOT TO BE IN A GREAT PROFFESSION BUT TO DO SOMETHING GREAT IN THAT PROFFESSION.With MLS the sky is my starting point!!
