This is interesting, i can't wait to see this bus or even enter this bus to pick up from ikorodu to Ketu. All these tata(iseoluwa) buses and all these not Nigerian made BRT buses should be sent out of Lagos. I no won know weather na Ibo or Ijaw do am, all i care about is to spend my money on Nigerian made products. But i think the management of this company suld try and break into Lagos market, ones they achieve that, they suldn't heve problem in W/Africa and the rest of Africa markets. No go think am o, i be original yoruba boy 4rm the souce "Osun state", but all i want is a united progressive Nigeria. GOD BLESS NIGERIA(Hausa, Ibo, Yoruba and other tribes).

Re: Made In Nigerian Buses Finally Hit Lagos Road. by PaulJohn1: 4:23pm On Mar 29, 2012
What u're saying in short is that improrted cars don't have mechanical fault that leads to accident. Even though i get injured in this bus, as long i'm still alive no problem. God bless 9ja

alj harem: BTW, when would the FG give Innoson the necessary policies to favour them ? England give Ford those Policies, Germany gave BMW etc those policies why is Nigeria different ?

We cannot penetrate the market if we don't patronise our own. We have one of the highest population in the world I think it is about time we put that to good use.

Ford is not an English company.

We should support anything made in Nigeria or even asembled in Nigeria.
God bless immoson motors.

I work for Nissan motors in sunderland, UK.

Most of the parts are not made in England, but they say is 100% Sunderland.

Still Sunderland is the best plant in Europe.

Again, i'm proud of Immoson Motors.

It might be worthwhile to go to press with issues like this, cos those buses were handed to the transporters with a promise not to raise prices.

Man, sorry for that situation u find yourself in. It's not like that all over, it's what the parents of the lady wanted. It's different in my own family. My parents are both yorubas, they don't give a damn about where anyone i love came from. All they want is a reasonable person. All these tribal thing in 9ja, i believe it suld be old story. We suld luk forward and face other things. Whish u goodluck bro with ur love.

They are subsidy palliative buses.

Mumu, is RTEAN the company PDP promised ? Is it the company GEJ said would provide 1600 buses to us. How daf.t can you be at times

RTEAN, Lagos branch, Why are other RTEAN not doing the same ?

Lagos Kwenu, Anambra oni baje o !!!!!

If you no like am go Hang.

Economic center = Lagos

Technology and manufacturing center of Africa = Anambra

Legislative and executive center = Abuja

If its an "Assembled in Nigeria Vehicle", it doesn't add up to anything

Because:

There was a Peugeot Assembly in Kaduna. (PAN)
There was a Volks Wagen Assembly in Lagos.
There was a Steyr Assembly in Bauchi.
There was a Mercedes Heavy duty Assemby in Enugu (ANAMMCO)

But,
If it is a totally made in Nigeria vehicle, then its a good thing and the first of its kind.

Then Kudos to Mr Innocent!

You are a fool with a fungal infection in your brain. All you know to do is go about the place telling lies.
While not taking from Fashola's due, when did private transporters become part of Lagos state govt that you came on here to congratulate Fashola about? Just damn stup!d.

Now you have stretched the incredible to new lengths with your "RTEAN Lagos branch" quip. It is only because you live your life by lies and rumour that you do not know that the buses are everywhere. In fact, there was even a fight over them in Ilorin last month.

It is a hard life knocking sense into the wilfully ignorant.
Re: Made In Nigerian Buses Finally Hit Lagos Road. by DisGuy: 5:13pm On Mar 29, 2012
whenever a made in nigeria bus is discussed why is Lagos always discussed as if other governor cant support local manufacturers?
is there anything stopping PH, Bayelsa, river state from investing in these local companies or buses are only used in lagos state?

BTW innoson only has capacit to 'manufacture' 9100 annually
Re: Made In Nigerian Buses Finally Hit Lagos Road. by jason123: 5:20pm On Mar 29, 2012
At those supporting the importation of the vehicular parts to Nigeria just to be assembled, I have just one question. Is ONE part of this vehicle produced in Nigeria or is it just a "Lego construction"?

If no part is produced in Nigeria, then its no different from what we already have in Nigeria. Moreover, is this not a smart way for companies to reduce or evade tax in Nigeria by slapping the "made in Nigeria" tag on it?

Nevertheless, nice one Anambra and Innoson!

RTEAN like every other federal government organisation has branches in the 36 states of the federation. So stop this stu.pidity you are displaying
