That is why it is not only imperative but indispensable to marry a wo/man you understand. A wo/man who feels sorry about his actions and you see through h/er soul that s/he meant every bit of those apologies. A wo/man who make promises and you nurse no iota of doubt about his staying true to h/er promises. In fact if your spouse is not your soulmate who cares not only about your physique, but your soul, if your spouse is not your best friend, you are married to the wrong person.

Maybe I didn't get you right, but from your posts it was like you were telling her to divorce him.

Spirituality? It may only help if he really wants to change and has some strength or determination to do that. But as she said, it seems as though the guy is spiritual enough.

Sorry for your experience. But since they are alike, I would like to ask if in retrospect, you think there were somethings that would have saved your marriage if you did them? Atleast she can learn from you.
