What happened in the second half is the kind of instance we expect our attacking midfielders to join in and stamp their presence on the game, not quoting stats about what he did when the game was like a five-a-side playground for him. That's why I laugh at anyone who quick to jump in claiming any loss can be explained by absence of Mata. One would have thought that the fact that Chelsea copped the two lowest points totals in RA era in the last two seasons would make ninjas think logically about the real problems of the team, and it's got nothing to do with absence of Mata.

how many goals or assists? at times i even forgot he was on the pitch. who did he create the chances for? at least we saw ba,oscar,hazard,willian,even eto'o. the only one(assist) i can remember was for ba n it didnt end well so doesnt count.

Mata is a flattrack bully like Berbatov was at United. When given all the space in the world, he will score and assist 100 goals, but when he jam heads with opposition who put pressure on, he disappears. That's why I said Mata needs two ninjas to dominate the midfield for him cos he can't do it himself. Jose shoulda taken him off on 55 mins cos it's obvious he had no more to contribute once Norwich started flooding the middle and he was actually harming the team, but if Jose had done that some boys for shout.

What a goal from Willian!.

On Lukaku - no qualms the boy went out on loan. He demanded for it and he got it. He's got talent but so far I see him play only for 45mins minutes and then gone. I expect bigger things in the future from him.

On JM - oh yeah he talks too much sometimes, but I feel that he tries to be honest. I personally will and want to give him time. When it comes to football, I believe he knows more than all of us combined. He may not always get his first 11 right, but when it comes to tactical changes, the man no get rival. Let him do his job.

On Mata-, dude won CPOTS twice but that dont mean nada now and when matches get physical, he simply disappears. That said and for now, he remains the ONLY creative player in the squad.
