We as human beings have answers to a lot of things, but do we have answers to all things? The answer is No.

1) Your claim of Christianity being rigid is out of place and frankly wrong, even the bible says prove ALL things and hold fast that which is good
2) Your point about creation just shows your ignorance...if you really knew the account of creation you were quoting you would have seen that it is stated that God created the moon and sun(LIGHTS) to separate night from the day....day and night is not dependent on the presence of the sun and moon
