Many Nigerian guys are on Facebook to do nothing more than stalking girls and trying to hook them up.
I find this very unromantic and as a sort of obsession by men who don't have the balls to talk to girls or ladies offline. So, they post their smiling faces on Facebook and start stalking total strangers who also have posted their sexy pictures too.
You see these dogs sniffing at the girls on Facebook for hours.
They must be i-dio-ts.

Thank God someone noticed this trend too. I just avoid FB these days cos of the sycophancy.
The situation as surmised by my friend is this:
Decent girl post pix; you see 4 likes and 2 comments
Girl with half naked pix; 30 likes and 70 comments with plenty sycophancy.

I just laugh when my girl logs into her account on FB.
Its plain sickening! The friend requests are never ending. She doesn't even bother to check 'em again.

I closed my Facebook account about 4 years ago and I've never looked back. spammers, scammers and stalkers.

Ain't that the truth. I'm this close to closing my facebook: -

I only keep it as a way of communicating with family back home. Cheaper than calling.

i'm not too sure writing a lady on facebook amounts to stalking her. It only becomes stalking if the guy continues to send several emails to her even after been rejected. There are various ways of meeting people and social networking happens to be one of them. And when a guy sends you an email on facebook, it does not necessarily imply that he lacks balls to speak to ladies in public. It's just an alternative way of meeting ladies. grin grin cheesy cheesy

Pls don't blame them oh. So many of them don't know what they are doing in FB.
Re: Many Nigerian Guys Stalking Girls On Facebook by Ejine(m): 12:09pm On Jun 02, 2012
Why won't these girls be stalked when they clearly show how lousy they can be on the internet?

You check a girl's profile and you see "3,970 Friends" (98 percent of them being people she friended despite not knowing zilch about) and you keep questioning this girl's sanity.
And it is a well known fact that the "serial adders" (as they are called) are mostly girls desperate to friend every creature on Facebook just to appear popular.

These girls have no lives, and in that same way, attract stalkers who, just like them, have no lives.

The end.

@OP, you sound gay. It's called guys being guys ok. We are from Mars and you ladies are from Venus. Different worlds. Get used to it and stop trying to understand us. Oh, you posted an unclad pix expecting likes and naughty comments from ladies instead. muahahahahahahahaha!!! naughty-naughty!!! *winks* If you have problems with guys on fb, simply remove all of them from your friends list, go to your profile privacy settings and enable only friends or close friends or family or your lesbian girlfriends to see your pix (such a setting exists you know if only you'll take the time to come down from that snob-horse of yours to check) or even better, SHUT DOWN YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT. Good riddance!!! Trust me, facebook will be better off without you. And stop opening threads on nairaland posing as a guy you man-hater. Ok, bye.

The Facebook perimeters work in such a way that you're made to interact with people you know, as opposed to people you actually LIKE or ENJOY chillin' with; so for this reason, I keep my Facebook activities streamlined to the max.

I don't add my ex-schoolmates.

Why would I want to know about what you had for lunch or the number of yellow patches you found in your feces during your last trip to the loo?

What the phuck makes you think I'd like to read your googled love quotes and hideous photos (taken from the most bizarre angles ever known to man)?

What the phuck makes you think I'd enjoy watching you post pictures of me from back in our school days when I looked like a crack-addled lovechild of Wesley Snipes and Grace Jones?

I say... Phuck all you worthless pieces of shiitt trying to know what's on my mind!
Phuck all you e-whooores and your cleavage photos!
Phuck all you dumbasss stalkers and your one-liners.

And most of all... Could you faggos just stop POKING me already!!!? I'm too young to suffer a rectal prolapse! angry

Why are people ignorant when it comes to private settings on these social media sites?

You can stop ANYBODY including friends of your friends from sending you requests
You can HIDE your account so that nobody can search it out in public
You can BLOCK/STOP anybody from posting on ur Timeline or COMMENTING on your photos
You can stop use of APPLICATIONS which have a way of sharing your details.
You can STOP anybody from TAGGING you.
You can make your photos PRIVATE and decide who sees your albums.
If you include your mobile contacts during set up then its visible to people.

Do not point fingers at FB but yourself for ignorance. If you blame FB for privacy intrusion then You are but a fool.

FB exists to catch up with, make friends, advertise biz etc.

But some people turn their walls into porn sites, expose it to all and sundry then blame the site?

Give me a break!!

CLOSE IT if you cannot MANAGE and CONTROL it.
