Since your memory is local ie contents are on your phone SD card, you don't need WiFi to view your video contents or whatnot.

An sd card is a memory card that allows you store videos, pictures, games, documents et al on your mobile phone. Comes in different formats and sizes from 125Megabyte(MB)- 64Gigabytes(GB). The bigger the size, the more contents you can store on your phone. Note GB is bigger than MB.

IOS devices however use a form of inbuilt memory but without the option of a memory card slot hence memory can not be expanded i.e a 32GB iphone can only store 32gb worth of data and can never be expanded to 64GB when full whilst eg the galaxy SIII can be expanded because it has a memory card slot.
Effectively once your iphone memory is full you either delete a few items or just stick with it.

Unless you want to watch videos, listen to music already stored on your sd card you don't need an internet connection. However to watch live tv, you need to have an internet connection because the files are not stored on your phone rather being streamed over the internet to your own phone.

Nooo. We cant use that in Nigeria. It is a cloud system ooo. How it work is this: It upload the file to their server. The server computer converts it to ur desired format. Then u download it back to ur fone. Indirectly, U spend 10MB to convert a .wma file of 4MB to .mp3 .

mine is non rooted and the apps move all my installed app apart from the inbuilt apps (Facebook and twitter).

probably all ur apps are sd card based. e.g apps such as whatsapp, instagram, TTpod, pic stitch, jbed(java) all depend on fone memory. fyi i installed these apps from google playstore. app2sd will tell u which apps are movable to d memory card and which cannot. dats d problem. am currently thrilled with dis game i just installed called Last Defender, so addictive and interestin but gulps 24mb of my fone memory and can't be moved to d sd card even usin apps2sd!

Still not getting it. If u really used "Audio cube", it does not need internet. These ones will upload ur file to their server. It means dat u cannot do the conversion without internet or sufficient internet bundle.

The speed of converting depends on the processor which is the CPU also remember these are mobile phones they aren't on the same level as actual desktop computers. If you don't have a dual core phone then wow, even so it will greatly depend on the clock speed and software optimization

Lol. Quite a few are puzzled by such terms. Funniest was when a man told me he paid a guy in computer village #5000 for every app on his iPad. I had to excuse myself and go laugh out loud in a closet out of respect.

Everyone knows about opera mini but i decided to try UC browser and observed something strange. downloading with opera mini, dolphin browser or the stock browser is a bit slow but with UC browser is very fast. i downloaded a psp iso with a file size of 1.3gb in five hours with transfer rate of 150-250mb.i recommend web surfing with opera mini and downloading with UC browser. there's even a way to hack it for free browsing but that's another story.
i found an app that is just simply wonderful at the store. it would search and locate any file you want; apks,movies,songs, books, you name it. as long as there is a soft copy on the internet it would locate it and provide you with a link. isn't that wonderful?

sorry,that's 150-250kb not mb. the only time i get transfer rates of mb is with wifi transfer pro. but i do get torrent transfer rates of 130kb on my phone

how do u guys download all this big size stuv? most of the good games need about 30mb using wifi is the only reasonable way I see someone downloading stuvs like this. got games and apps but only 1mb - 3mb games and apps

30mb is very small.i hv downloaded mortal kombat for psone than reached 400mb.just download through uc browser and do nt forget to subscribe

wow are u using etisalat. cos etisalat data plan cos useless. airtell 1200 for 1.5g etisalat 1000 200mb.

u can pause ur download in uc brs and start whenever u like.so i use mtn 150mb @N500 whenever it stops i pause d download and subscribe again

k not a bad idea. but its high time we android uses start complaining to service providers to Make android phones unlimited browsing like the bb.

heard about it also wit etisalat worked for 3days then stopped. tried rooting my phone with gingerbreak but didn't work.

u can easily root htc phones without connecting to any pc.but samsung is diff.
