Deborah was wife of Mr Lapidoth, then God Himself anointed her to prophesy accurately. In addition to being a genuine prophetess, Deborah was a Judge, a political position of Queen. Those who refuse to fulfill Luke 11:13 will never understand, will argue endlessly.

Its not proper and not right for a women to lead in a church.... Those saying 1corinthian13:34 is only applicable to the women in corinthian ? What about the account of 1Timothy 2:11-13. Was Apostle paul refering to the Corinthian women also? Those 2 accounts is there for our purpose too not for only those that lives during the Apostle time. Another point is that the book of 1st Corinthian was written when apostle paul was in Ephesus and he finished writing it in 56c.e( christ era) while 1st Timothy was written by apostle paul in Macedonia, completed time was between 61-64 c.e..... The account of 1corinthians 11:3 says the head of every man is the christ while the head of a woman is a man......

in d days of apostles christainity was not popular; even today, d real christainity that has its root in d doctrine and concept of d Bible is not popular. There were some called apostles during d days of paul that thouth heresis as teachings, but d spirit of God did not record those to be part of Bible. It is not what u whant to hear, it is what God whant u to hear. That is why some have choosen motivational speakers as pastors

ijawkid: It means in a congregation a woman shuldnt take d lead where men are....

hierarchy of headship demands that......

Women can't be overseers, heading congregation assignments....those responsibilities are meant for d men.....

In 1timothy 2:11-13 paul gives d reason why.....

11 A woman[a] should learn in quietness and full
submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to
teach or to assume authority over a man;[b]
she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed
first, then Eve...

That is Gods arrangement......

Read also 1 corinthians 11;3

If those principles are nt upheld definitly dis-array and indecency would be d result....
This is exactly what paul meant.so any church/parish been headed by a woman is totally wrong and against the will of God.They are false pastors and if it was a general overseer that called such women, then the GO IS ALSO A SHAM/FAke

logicboy01: Please, I am waiting for christians to explain this new testament verse;

1 Corinthians 14;34
women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says
try to read d whole chapter to get a clearer understanding. Paul said 'as the law says...' which law was he talking about? the law of God? Moses, the Pharisees? reading further, Paul seems to be refutin the corinthians that hold that belief and concluded d chapter by sayin that all can prophesy but in orderliness. come to think of it, Paul worked wit d most amount of women in the NT.

What i don't understand about people with the bible is that they always give reasons to favour themselves, we can in as much quote other portions of the bible and say it was meant for galations, ephesian and so on. I think if we believed the bible was inspire by God,I don't think Paul made any mistake from what he said and it was for every believer

The bottom line today is that people pick portions of the bible to deceive people and give silly reasons, I think the bible should be followed as it is, like all these Pastor having their wives pictures in all the posters that you see around Nigeria and i tell you what any church that do that , am out because they do not understand the bible, just selfish interest. You will alway hear them quote like Pastor Anita said this , said that . Brainwashing it is called

yall need to be understanding to Logicboy. I have had private counsel with him on this issue and he has 2 ambitions in life
1- to become a transsexual woman
2- to become a pastor

so this is an issue that is close to his heart because the answers yall give will determine if he proceeds as a female pastor.

Naturally, I feel very uncomfortable in a church service where a woman preaches. I am sure most men feel the same way, Its only natural for men to be the head of the church. Bible or no bible.
