Been using my galaxy note n7000 for a year now. It came with Gingerbread but I updated to ICS. Samsung promised an update to jelly bean but it never came. I love my device a lot although it's been lagging these days. Never rooted it and I don't regret that decision. So what I want to ask is it possible that it could be manually upgraded? I want to enjoy the jelly bean experience but i don't want to dump this phone yet.

Samsung has actually released a Jelly bean update for the device...but it's a crappy update and it lags....so it's advisable to just stay on ICS....the truth is...if you really wanna enjoy your galaxy note...you have to root it...rooted mine and installed a custom firmware on it.... I'm on Jelly bean 4.2.2 now....very smooth and I'm loving my phone

im using 100mb droidvpn. i am not that motivated to try stuff. na mtn just crase. i was very ok with d old arrangee.





for N7000 the initial releases were crap but the LT5 and LT6 ROMs are very ok. i am currently using stock..... 4.12.

all u need is use COH kernel and change the governor to Hyper/Row.

ICS is not better than d LT5 release bro. i think at this point i do know what im talking abt



and all u need is to visit sammobile and use odin to flash the rom. u wont get OTA if your kernel is nigeria.......... i think it was DDLRK?? Cant remember now.

Things have become better o. I remember using anonymouse proxy back then. Worked for 6 months before I gave it to someone. 3 days later, blocked. Even modifying firmware of s40 phones to make it work free by default.

Good times. Sadly, I wasn't on NL then. Only visited programming section as a guest
