As a Nigerian he has a right to freedom of speech but if the government thinks he is going beyond that freedom let him be charged accordingly to a court where both parties can establish their cases. In a decent democracy we need to have opposition if you dont know.your main problem is that i think you have a myopic sight hence couldnt see things like the learned pastor. Let Tunde Bakare ride in if he got facts for whatever he's saying jo and if the government is not comfortable they easily sue his ass without subjecting him to torture.

Let me break it down for you; within the limit of the law, the Nigerian police reserves the right to detain a suspect for 24 hrs without bail. Also they reserve the right to use 'reasonable force' to effect the arrest should he offer any resistance... I only played around the provisions of the law by adding that he be locked up with Boko Haram suspects (which in itself is not an offence neither does it contravene the law)...

Bakare on the other hand slandered the president with his comment... And comments like that can be argued to be malicious in nature with the intent of stirring public unrest.. And the entire comment put together is a defamation of character of the person of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria..
