Ikeja, Ph and Enugu, followed closely Calabar and Jos. Then Uyo, Owerri. No southwest state capital is beautiful except Ikeja which is kind of swallowed by Lagos state itself.
Re: The Most Developed State Capital In Nigeria ? by SpiritofOkija(m): 7:04am On Jun 30, 2012
musiwa1: calabar is the most beautiful

I beg to differ on Calabar... After Marian ro and IBB road, Calabar is fhucked... The entire Calabar south is a slum

Starting today, I shall be embarking on a photo session of Port Harcourt..... If you feel your town looks good, do same.. Don't just get us pictures of the fine areas, but also the slums

Akure is the best capital after Ikeja in the SW. But it doesn't rate when the rest of Nigeria is being discussed.
I'm from Delta where at least 3 or 4 towns are more developed and beautiful than Akure, yet in all my lists of developed capitals, I have not included Asaba.
Dude, Akure has a very long way to go to match anything outside the SW.

Sincerely, I've stayed in all zones in Naija. Kaduna comes first, followed by PH and then Owerri. Lagos is Rubbish cos when rain fall you will know that Lagos is not organised and its very dirty. Presently I stay in Lagos

Each time i return to Uyo i get tha feelin dat d people wanna turn dat city into Las Vegas or Hawaii. But i'll give it to Calabar cuz of its tha Nigeria's No. 1 Tourism Destination.
Jos city used 2b cool in those days specifically Jos-south n Jos-East [NOT Jos-North o- cuz dat is d Boko Haram enclave especially Ankwa rugo- where Islamic terrorists live]!

Portharcourt is all hype. a city largely without plan. Enugu has better road network, the city is relatively well planned, you SEE better houses, trees adorn the city.... Enugu is just one big " GRA ".

EVIDENCE OF LACK OF PLANNING. HOW CAN A CITY DEVELOP WITH PLANNING. THE PRESENCE OF OIL COMPANIES IN PORTHARCOURT DOES NOT MEAN IT'S DEVELOPED.
