Please try and specify car model, year, spec.(Europe or U.S) and engine capacity when making a complaint, this will help the house to offer quicker and easier diagnosis for your car. |

EricDonn: If you scan that car, it will show incorrect tyre size. You have to replace the engine ecu to the one designed for a 15" rim. If you continue like this, you will destroy your CVT gear box |

There is something i noticed 2 days ago. The (R) light on the dashboard flashes when in Park, Neutral, 1 and 2 positions. Only when it is in Reverse and Drive positions does in not flash. The car is Honda Element 2004 Model. Please what is going on?

Hello all. @luvinhubby mrng, I want to ask for the price of the power steering fluid, suitable NGK plugs and an air filter for my 2005 accord please. Pertaining to the power steering fluid, can I use the total power steering fluid in the interim b4 I can reach you? I bought Honda Atf from you a while back even though I was in zaria then. ogborikoko: Hand brake not fully released. Also possible that the hand brak switch is bad or the hand brake is not adjusted well. You should have 'Brake' displayed on your instrument panel. |

Need to re-emphasize this issue of fake ATF-DW1 as we witnessed another near tragedy of that some days ago. The guy owns a 2010 Honda Accord(evil spirit), bought some ATF-DW1 for N2,000 and used for his gear box (transmission), two weeks after the gear starts to stall before transition, at a point could engage only up to gear 3. He brought the car to my gear rewire for attention and on interrogation, found out he used fake DW1 on his gear. Long and short of story, had the gear flushed of useless fake ATF-DW1 and had his gear filled with the genuine DW1, repeated same after 3 days and the gear is now back to normal transmission. He was lucky his gear box did not fail. If you are not sure of the source of the gear oil, use OANDO Dextron III temporarily till you get the genuine DW1 or call - 08029255299 and 08039121412. Does anyone know where I can get genuine honda power steering fluid in Lagos? I poured honda ATF in my power steering reservoir, is there anything to be worried about? I know it should be fine for most cars but honda can be very finicky. Thanks in advance. |

Hello Gurus, I noticed my Honda babyboy 98 4cyl engine, start to shut off occasionally while in motion last month, the case has gotten worse last week, it shut off frequently these days while I drive few mins. Although the car starts again within 2 mins after removing & inserting the key back. I asked my mechanic, he said it might be wiring problem, a friend says it might be fuel pump issue. Something to ponder on if you have a Honda or Acura vehicle...... Everyone knows that lubrication is critical in all internal combustion engines. Because of this, motor oil companies spend millions of advertising dollars each year to convince you that their products are superior to their competitors brands. Regardless of whether you prefer to buy your oil in a yellow container, a white container, or a gray container; regardless of your thoughts about conventional oils vs. partial or full synthetics; the most critical thing is the weight of the engine oil. Honda and Acura engines are machined at very tight tolerances.This is one of the reasons they are known for their longevity and are legendary for their ability to accumulate high mileage over the vehicle’s lifetime. It is extremey important to always have adequate lubrication. If you have a Honda or Acura that calls for 5w20, then only use 5w20 motor oil. It doesn’t matter what your hot-rodder buddy says about 5w20 being too thin. He isn’t a Honda Engineer. If you choose to use 5w30, 10w30, 10w40, or 20w50 “racing oil”, in a Honda or Acura that calls for 5w20, you will literally starve the internal engine parts of adequate lubrication. The engineers at American Honda Motor Company know what they are doing. For maximum fuel efficiency, maximum engine life and dependability, always adhere to the recommended weight of motor oil. Hello sir, Please can you recommend any non honda atf that will be good for HONDA EOD 2004? I know how sensitive these things are. I also noticed that my battery is usually flat by morning or if I leave it parked for a few hours. If I crank it twice and it doesn't start, i have to use a jumper cable to boost it. How do I know if it is the alternator or bad battery? Please note that the battery still shows green light. |
