Where in Nigeria can I see VC Muzzler to buy,?

I used to sell it. But no body was interested. I could import if you want. However, know the dollar craziness means it's way more expensive.

u0107 lost communication with throttle actuator control module

This started 3 days ago when my mechanic was installing new gear mounts and we turned on the engine to test. It has never happened in the morning.

It also happened yesterday after spending some time in traffic.

I've cleaned the throttle body but I think it has something to do with the actuator motor. Could be this an electrical issue? Because I just recovered from one.

Honda accord 2003, Euro.

[modified: this only happens when I'm coming back from work when the car is hot after sitting under the sun. I have cleaned the TAC Module and checked the wiring. I'll observe. ][/b]

So I remember when I had a similar problem with my 2001 accord after major engine work. details can be seen here
https://www.nairaland.com/2646185/p1259-vtec-system-malfunction
GAZZUZZ and Adanny01 were so helpful.

It ended up being wrong timing setting of the oil pump. I'm strongly suspecting my current problem is same as that. I'll check the oil pump timing today and see what I'll find.
Ok. This did not work. I reset both my cam timing and my oil pump timing l, (both were not set correctly) but the check light reappeared next morning with exact same codes (p0011 and p0341). So I still need help. I'll start throwing parts at it.

How about the intake camshaft solenoid? It might be bad, or the tiny filters might be blocked.

You mean the VTC solenoid? That has been cleaned and tested. It seemed ok to me. But I might just replace it and see.

To find the culprit you’ll have to trace the source of the leak, From the pump to the steering rack and the hoses connecting them.

Maintain your Honda and Acura vehicles very well now with reliable parts & OEM fluids as the cost of new & tokunbo vehicles are no longer affordable.

Manage what you have well abag

Specialist for a civic?
What year civic is this and what could be so complicated in a civic for it to need a special technician to fix?

I have resolved this issue.

Took it to another mechanic and they did their thing.

They said they changed the switch but I doubt they did that but suspect they did some programming of the switch I changed recently. Or they did change the switch and also did the programming

XPaul:
I am experiencing this issue in my Honda Accord 2010.

I have changed the switch, change gear oil and also checked the wires but my D is still blinking

Please anyone with help.

I am tired

I need help.

Anytime I press brake while driving, the hand brake light comes on. What can be the reason?

Also, my car consumes fuel aggressively. I have changed the O2 sensors but the errors still appears. Who can help with a technician that can assist with O2 sensors and AF (P1157 code)

check your fuel consumption if you have 16 miles per gallon. Just ignore that check engine light. Otherwise you will be wasting money even more than the fuel you were trying to save. When car is old alot of things will not work correctly. I have spent alot pf money worrying about that engine light. If it’s not blinking and car drives fine just relax

I don’t think I am doing 16miles per gallon. It is more.

About 23 litres of fuel barely last me for three days trip to the office and back home. My office and back home is about 39kms (25miles) according to Google maps.

By your statement, 23 litres (6 gallons) should do approximately 4 days to and fro.

My 2007 crv is consuming a lot of oil, in less than 200miles the oil level will go below the second dot, and the fuel consumption is not helping at all at 85mile half tank is gone, right now full thank Can't give me up to 200miles self.

Car drives well, no black smoke, oxigen sensor is very OK.

But I think engine sound is not encouraging, the oil consumption is shocking me and no leakage

What's the fault history?
You might want to take note of the codes then clear and rescan again.

Looks like your engine is on it's way out from your description.
Ask someone to drive behind you and observe the smoke that comes out from your exhaust when you floor the pedal while driving.

No smoke at all
Could be a bad PCV system.
You might also need to run a compression test to be really sure of the state of the engine.

Hello sir. I have been battling with this u0107 throttle actuator control module error. This happens only in the evening when the car has sit under the sun for a long time. I have changed the "injector mouth". My Rewire has checked the wiring.
