Seun:Why not speak for yourself instead of blindly generalizing? If you know little or nothing about someone, the history books are there. What we knoe of GEJ is enough to throw the Otuoke cowboy behind bars and let him rot there for the rest of his life if the nation were to have functional organs in the Judiciary. Only in Nigeria would one witness the celebration of mediocrity. BTW, from your comments it's obvious you know next to nothing about GEJ hence your blind support. I've known the inept man for more than a decade and can probably write a book on GEJ's malfeasance while holding any position of power. |
Fellow BBers, Considering the massively rigged results in most rural areas in the north in favor of PDP, I think we need to re-stratgize and concentrate our efforts mainly on two areas: Primary: Mobilizing members within and outside this group to volunteer as pollen agents for the BB team across as many as possible rural areas in the North-West and North-East. Secondary: Continue with the CPC logo campaign. This is no longer urgent as it is obvious that even Northerners recognize the log as votes were casted massively for CPC candidates, but PDP has managed to force the slow release of the results to enable rigging to take place in connivance with INEC RECs. Let's run out the jingles we have paid for and if we have any cash left, I'll advice we use it to sponsor logistics. I will be paying my next batch of contribution staight into the CPC GTBank account. If we need to raise more money, I should still be able to push myself a bit further. |
Feelers from the North is that the electorates are still solidly behind Buhari, the NASS results not withstanding. The PDP NASS members who won in the north I understand played on the little or no level of enlightenment amongst the electorates apart from monetary inducements. PDP candidates pasted their posters side-by-side with Buhari's posters and claimed Buhari had endorsed them. CPC swept the votes in the urban centers and major cities while the PDP used money, deception and votes manipulation in conjunction with INEC staffs to tilt the elections in their favor. Some northern states from my understanding are already having widespread protests as the figures announced by INEC's REC are not in tandem with the actual votes casted in some parts those states. We should therefore not be discouraged to forge ahead. |
muami:My friend PDP winning in the north aint now news. This is NASS elections. Wait until the result for the presidential elections are out before you start laughing. |
aletheia:Why are you this crass? How about the use of donkeys and camels? |
and let the rigging begin! |
How come INEC has hurriedly released figures in the SW states and all the states PDP is expected to win. The results from the major core northern states are still very sparse. Something fishy is happening o! PDP rigging machine has been set in motion! |
I've been wondering how the results from the north have not been announced yet. It's kind of funny that the figures from the SW have almost all been released while he figures from the north are not coming out yet! Something fishy is happening. |
muami:Apparently you've been reading the thread with your PC turned upside down! Show me the thread where BB supporters have claimed CPC was going to will all polls in the north. Several time I have personally stated that PDP will more than likely win the governorship race in Kano state, but the electorate will vote en-mass for CPC in the presidential election. |
9 federal constituencies declared in Kaduna out of a total of 16 seats. Source Channels TV on YouTube streaming live. http://www.youtube.com/user/channelsweb Out of the 9 declared seats. CPC - 6 seats PDP - 3 seats |
EPOMA:The web site you provided has some wrong information. David Mark (PDP) won the Benue South Senatorial seat, while that web page is showing ACN as the winner. What exactly is happening in the North. No info yet from the core northern states? |
musKeeto:I see your point though. However, you should note that it's voting for personality as against party that still gave PDP some NASS wins in the core north. If the electorate in the north votes personality, then CPC will sweep the polls in the north. We cannot simply claim that the electorate will vote personality in one section of the country and the suddenly vote parties in another part. |
jmaine: macjive01:You'll laugh louder when the full list of the new NASS is released. With CPC winning most sits in the north and ACN clearing at least 5 states in the SouthWest, it's obvious PDP is losing grounds. Meanwhile most of those who voted PDP in the north for NASS will be switching to CPC for the presidential, excluding states like Kwara (unfortunately), Benue and perhaps Plateau states. |
With the manner in which the opposition parties have decimated the ruling party, PDP, I will certainly not be surprised if a run-off in the presidential elections ends up being between CPC and ACN. |
Although I voted yes for the possibility of a run-off election. I need to clarify that the run-off will likely be between CPC and ACN. GEJ and his PDP will likely be at a distant 3rd position in the first round of the election. CPC will likely have the most votes but not enough spread. ACN will have higher votes than PDP but with inadequate spread too. PDP may manage to get close to the spread requirements but fall short in the total votes figure. My thoughts! |
aletheia:The fact is that the oppositions are really not strong in Kwara state. Most of the opposition candidates don't even reside in the state. |
passyjango:True words.
Folks should not get too excited until INEC start releasing official results. INEC not released a single one. PDP, as we all know can rig judgement day results. they can still rig at those INEC collation centers. We have no video no live reports from those centers and I find that unfortunate considering the much advertised promise of openness.
Chief INEC RECs have been announcing elections results. I've been watching Channels TV's live stream on YouTube and listened to a correspondent along with the Niger state REC confirming the figures of two House of Rep winners. One from CPC and the other a PDP candidate who happens to be an incumbent. If you read through the thread on pages 21-23, you'll find that the figures were being posted based on RECs announcements on NTA. |
efisher:What you have failed to realize is that no one in the core north will be voting GEJ. The fact remains that PDP has been roundly decimated in the NASS elections. If I were you, I'd not raise my hopes about GEJ getting more than 25% of the votes PDP members may have managed to get in the NASS election. |
luluosas:Adding Ifeleke's figures shows that 90 seats (and not 82 seats as you stated) have been occupied. There are only 19 more seats to be declared.@IFELEKEAccording to your post, 82 seats has been occupied remaining 27 seats. This is really good news. |
goggs:You are a true patriot. I duff my hat for you. Keep it up. We surely will get there someday. At least we are beginning to witness the silent revolution we aim to achieve. Next week, we'll hammer in the last nail into the PDP coffin. |
Ede is in Osun State |
Senate Ward 12 Obio-Akpo CPC-86 PDP-76 ACN-12 APGA-5 APN-2 PAC-1 Others nil. Result obtained from a friend. Even in GEJ's backyard, PDP is getting whooped. |
omanzo02:Voting for anything but PDP is the most sensible thing to do |
I got this from a friend's post on another forum.: INEC CODE: (17/03/01/011) Jigawa State, BK LGA, BK Ward, Polling unit 011: REPS ACN: 9 ANPP: 2 CPC: 177 PDP: 71 Others: 0 SENATOR ACN: 8 ANPP: 3 CPC: 184 PDP: 80 Others: 0 |
father ab:PDP became a regional party the day GEJ started campaigning along ethnic lines. |
aisha2:These figures surely gladdens my heart. Are the figures from the FCT? SOrry just noticed you added Asokoro. Great news that CPC is taking over Abuja too. I hope we receive similar results from the remaining wards in the FCT. |
muami:And I suppose the news below will gladden your heart abi. Read what GEJ's ND brothers are doing in the South-South. wikitruth: |
IFELEKE: Genbuhari3:Ensure you send the results from your pollen centers to the numbers provided by INEC above. You can also confirm the numbers on Twitter. |
The Independent National Electoral Commission has urged voters to send reports of counting of ballots to it by SMS. INEC said in a posting on its Twitter page, “As counting commences, ensure you send SMS Reports to 0813832-7889, 0812-728-0713. “Take a legible picture of the results sheet in order to prevent changes or modifications. “Send results. Include PU number and vote count per party. Take legible pictures of the result sheet.” |
Let's keep it going Nigerians. We need to vote out PDP en-mass. If you however have a PDP competent PDP candidate, you can still vote him as long as he's not been part of the current set of legislooters. |
