my fellow Nigerians, let us for once come together and make it known to our lawbreakers what we really want. they've so far divide and drag us from one messed-up situation to another since the commencement of this administration.

let make it known that "We Want Lagos KanO Rail
We Want Lagos Calarba Rail
We Want 2nd Niger Bridge
We Want Massive Infrastructural Development in Nigeria"

Lets not allow the NASS to turn Nigerians against PMB
Did your president request for all this directly or his ministers did?

We know what the ipod wants and, we'll not give it to them.
They hold their own people ''dear" , but kill others like chicken. I wonder what they'd have said if this happened in the north. All the Biafra people are doing now is denying the story. If it was in the north, they'd rely on an un-official source and begin to protest- now we have official sources, they don't want to believe.
The 3 notherners killed in enugu and bodies buried under a foundation of a church some months ago is still fresh in our minds.
Who no wan separate fight make him avoid quarel.
You are a fool just like your name "caseless". you no get case. So all the killings in the middlebelt is a nationalistic venture the fulani should be awarded for she?
DSS don't know wats happenin in the Benue, Taraba, Jos all this while shebi? They killed over 300 in Agatu and your fulani 3 killed should tear Nigeria apart abi?

I laugh when I read some comments. Sometimes, some people would want us to believe that political campaigns are over. And yet, at every slight opportunity they have, they never fail to rub it in the face of their "assumed" political enemies. The greatest worry I have is for the Nigerian masses that have been used and used over time without necessary compensation.

PMB is fighting a real war with this set of people that refer to themselves as legislators. The problem is that most of them have been used to the traditional 'ghana must go' method that any idea of change is alien to them. They want the status quo to remain so that they can always perpetuate their grips on the national till. But they meet their match in the president who is bent on ridding the country of ineptitude.

Most observant Nigerians actually understand their antics. It is unfortunate that the president thought that he could work with anyone that emerged as the leaders of the national assembly simply because they belong to the same party. What he doesn't realise is that many of those people do not actually share in his vision of corruption-free Nigeria. If I were him, I would have seen myself as being alone in the fight to save the motherland.

The first face-off between the executive and the legislature was on the TSA issue. The national assembly wanted their accounts out of the TSA because they don't want their transactions to be monitored. But on the other hand, the president insisted that all accounts must be with the TSA. In a bid to force the president to recant, they (the legislators) raised a false alarm that some people have swindled the nation N25billion as commission. Even though they presented it as if they're very patriotic, but we know that it was an attempt to discredit the laudable initiative. At the end of their worthless hearing on the issue, no N25billion was found.

Secondly, immediately the Saraki's case started in CCT, they've been waiting for an opportunity to get their pound of flesh from the executive who was presumed to be behind his ordeal. Immediately the budget came, they started their game plan. While the copy of the budget in the Senate went missing, the one in the House of representatives remained intact. There was allegations and counter-allegations and at the end of the day, they succeeded in making mince of the budget simply because they wanted to demystify the person of the President. They wanted to show the world that the so-called "Mr Clean" is not as clean as he wanted us to believe. They found an ally in the disgruntled members of the public who already are disenchanted with the new administration because they have just be forcefully chased out from their "pot of porridge". So they came up with the issue of budget padding as if that is the first time they were seeing such.

It is now glaring that the whole noise about the budget is simply because they couldn't toy with it as usual. And moreso, the traditional "settlement" by the MDA's before their budgets could be passed is not possible again. So suddenly, they become "more patriotic and dedicated to the national duty" in such a way that they have to stress themselves to the limit in screening every line of the budget to discover any hidden ambiguities. But unfortunately, while telling us that several billions of naira have been illegally padded to the budget, they were just able to come out with removing a paltry sum of N17billion from the budget! They thought by making the noise, they would have at least shifted attention from their shenanigans.

It's over three weeks now that Senate President has promised to make the budgets of the national assembly public. Up till now, their so-called budget that is going to take care of just 469 people and their retinue of aides is still work in progress. We should never make the mistakes across party line. All of them are THIEVES. We remembered the then opposition in ACN that were campaigning against the jumbo pay of the national assembly. We all know the result as of now, all of them are beneficiaries of the jumbo pay without a single of them rejecting his own share. So, nobody should make distinction among them. They are united when it has to do with their pay but when it has to do with the people they claim to represent, it becomes politics simple.

So, I pity the people who are ceaselessly defending these "legally authorized" thieves. I ask of what use is their defence when in actual fact they have paid aide to do the dirty jobs. Our case is like what our elders would say "eepa n pa ara e, o ni oun n pa aja. Ojo ti aja ba ku n ko, eepa naa n re orun" (literally a louse is killing itself thinking that it's killing the dog. Doesn't it realise that the day the dog dies, itself would die?). So let's continue to make jest of ourselves thinking that we're spiting the government. A word is enough for the wise.
The most effective thing the president would have done was to withdraw the first budget, apologize to Nigerians, go back and plan a new budget and re summit. The president created this problem. This same national assembly has stood for good causes also just like Mr Integrity president also has made stupid mistakes. They are all culpable. this motion to make the national assembly "devils" is crazy. The presidency should be schooled on how our type of democracy and government works. The presidency is not the government oh sir, its am arm of government. The presidency has so stupidly created disharmony within the government with the way they handled the other arms.
for this budget issue, the presidency is the first that should be labelled "THIEVES" before the national assembly. In short they have not stolen yet. The presidency stole the budget it submitted and snicked in with another padded budget and the minister Udo was the actor yet he's still siting with Oga Buhari to review budget. Hummm actions fully supported by Mr Integrity

I'm receiving mails from Etisalat subscribers who haven't been able to open wives connection in days even when the bar shows strong Network, it's not connecting at all and, it's not just this blog, some can read a few other blogs while others say they can't open any blog at all. I always replied that it's their browser type giving problems until I am seriously suffering it too. Imagine the frustration when a blogger cannot open her own blog not to talk of other websites. Hi 5 to Nigerian bloggers based in Naija, they are really trying, updating and uploading pics with Snail speed Network services. Some readers can't leave comments and I'm supposed to copy and paste for them from their mails yet blog won't open. It makes me so nervous and the message on the screen is scary. The first time it happened, I got a message like " site cannot be reached" the next time " Your network is blocked
and I'm like "The blood of Jesus" Network blocked by who? what did I do wrong here? What did I do wrong to Etisalat? ehn? I always have Data because of blogging, sometimes 30,000MB on the modem, had to add Wifi thinking that is stronger yet as I type, not only me, even my children's phones can't connect Online. Na wetin? Even Wifi? I am subscribed to 3 networks and have always felt like Etisalat is faster but now? I haff suffered, trying to go Online, getting frustrated and dumping everything for some "soothing candy crushing"

I feel bad now telling mailers to download different browsers when the problem is actually from Etisalat. I blamed poor network in my house, blamed my gadgets and even blamed my family for moving here but now I know it's not us, the blame is on Etisalat oh..
Someone please tell Etisalat to do something Oh. Their subscribers are finding it really hard opening blogs and I don't want us to port now oh. I hear Spectranet is doing great but haven't yet confirmed oh.

I never meant to insult anybody but I was so skeptical about foyose he misled nigerians in that statement. Am sorry if u felt insulted. However, I am neither a politician nor an APC member but I so much value critizisim only if it is constructive. Nigeria may be facing a lot of problem but she still remain a strongg force in African security even more than SA(with effort ranging from peace keeping and have even help south african solve her security issue)I want u to understand that nigeria remain a major player in african region security. Secondly No country has suffer terrorism in African more than Nigeria. Secondly I bliv the govt is doing a lot with economy and other reforms(with evidences).am also in FCT and I can share with u the evidences. Though things are very tight now nobody will deny that. But it a test time for us. Singapore went through the worst but what happens now. Equally pls do check out what happens to Greez economy.
Ok brother, I feel you so much. Thanks for the clarification. You mentioned Singapore and I will bet you, we are not in same the transition process. If the president will really follow through with the Singapore model, even in six months we will feel the benefits of his government I bet.
Look my gruse is that it's not me or maybe you that feels this pain. You want to feel pain, go to the local government councils in the state; IDP camps; go to the market. Sadly this are the people who voted in mass for him. I once heard garba shehu say they will use the Singapore model but sorry to say it all wash. I could name sector by sector from corruption fighting model to agricultural reforms to manufacturing reforms to telecoms to infrastructure etc. Honestly Fayose is only pointing to issue core priority of government now. Guy if we sit down rock this work for house, foreigners will come with their money.

I learnt too that you should first remove the speck in your own eyes to see clearly before removing the speck in another's eyes.
Fayose is also a leader, and best he has done is spew affronts at the Federal government.
The problems of Nigeria are manifestly clear to the least Nigerian that it would amount to foolishness for someone like Fayose who is himself a leader to continue singing them.
If he's wise enough he should proffer solutions and not insult a Government he's part of.
Untill the federal structure is redesign and true federalism is implemented in Nigeria, the central gov't will continue to be the focus of everybody and we will need strong men like Fayose to keep them on their toes. Just like they did to Jonathan by Edo,Lagos etc during that era. The centre is too attractive. We need give more burden and responsibility for development to the LG and State govt. Then you will see people focusing on the sate gov't and ensuring the dividend of democracy reaches down

guy the summit is not about power generation it is about denial of accessibity of nuclear weapon to the terrorist. Half education is nigerian problem. They think they kwn it all hen in actual sence they kwn notting. When they hear nucleind is power generation (educated illitrate)
Guy you culd have said what u needed to say without insults. You can have any ideology and live in peace.
Secondly, tell the honest truth, how does Nuclear security a major problem of Nigeria right now. i know terrorism in a global issue, but is a people refuse in thier land it won,t happen. We all know that the share of terrorism we have experienced in Nigeria is completely unfair as the the Northern elites played to the gallery in their quest for power. mind you i'm from the middle the belt region, born in Bauchi, schooled in Zaria and served in Yobe and live and worked in Kano, Katsina, Jos, Adamawa, Kaduna and currently FCT. i know the region and its people. They are not terrorist inclined. They love life and enjoying living and being loved.
Right now the president of Nigeria in my opinion should in an emergency mood be putting together an economic team and a security team. He should focus on this two issues looking at how to deliver to the grass root that voted him the dividend of democracy in by pushing for reforms in local govt and state govt spending.Pushing for reforms in federal government spending procedures and just arresting people by EFCC would be more effective in the war against corruption, though that important also; leading the buy Nigeria campaign by visiting universities and labour, and the organized private sector functions to brain storm with the people and interpreting his government policy and reform proposition on empowering the Naria;
Finally as i earlier pointed out, BTW Nigeria and South Africa, Kenya, Ghana who has more stake in a nuclear summit attendance? As Zuma is not there, will it increase terror attacks on south Africa? Will it reduce FDI to south Africa? Will shut down or increase petrol or energy supply in South Africa? Mind you South produces 50,000 MAGA WATT of electricity and by now should be looking and investing heavryly in Nuclear resources. Our beloved country hit zero mega watts some days ago.
THIS IS A MATTER OF NATIONAL SECURITY IF OUR PRESIDENT KNOW WHATS UP
What Fayose is saying is that at the Federal level especially let's get our priorities right.

my friend fayose is saying priorities as a govt is very important. tell me the truth, was Zuma of southAfrica at the summit? the south african nation produces 50,000 mega watts of electricity. Tell me in your honest opinion, btw Nigeria and south africa, who should be talkin about Nucler energy right now?
chil my brother as a country we have not gotten our priorities right from football to policy administration and implementation.

But how many emergency meetings has Mohammed Buhari held over the ongoing killings by the Fulanis all over the country? Only a complicit president would claim not to realize it as the topmost national emergency.
If the president continue with this path, more and more Nigerians will feel alienated from his conspicuously islamic-leaning administration.

Now this is a more reasonable approach to the argument which you and your Jonathanian colleagues should have followed instead of ignorantly tagging the VP a liar and disgracing yourselves online over semantics (meaning of the word 'NEW').

Now to answer your question, new roads are sometimes very necessary to open up possible short-cuts to ease traffic and to open up new cities. That is not to say the old roads shouldn't be fixed. A good example of a new road is the 24km benin bypass which was completed in 2002/2003. You dont want to imagine what life was like before this road for travellers between the SE/SS and Lagos who had to spend several hours in Benin city traffic. Another good example of a new road should have been the 2nd Niger Bridge including the 35km bypass route which would have enabled travellers avoid the deadly traffic of Onitsha when travelling to the SE especially in December (this is one big area GEJ failed to shine).

Even a toddler should know the importance of building new roads to link up cities and bypass areas of congestion. If new roads. human as new roads at one point in time.
With due respect to the office of the Vice president, the person of the vice president has no idea of what leadership means. I'm a member of RCCG as he is for 24 years now and is this the issue a national leader should be talking about now? The governor came and told him about the agatu killings and the lives of 200 people innocently killed on their land was not reason enough to Marshall federal force to Benue state pay a respected visit. As a student of public policy administration, that action alone would have gone a long way to stop the killings and console the people. But the holier than thou professor of Law is here playing to the gallery. Shame on someone I thought would be the light in this government of emptyNess.
