Oshiomhole: As A Survivor Roars Back — By Eboigbe Augustine
As some disgruntled members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) attempted to orchestrate the removal of the National Chairman of the Party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, other members of the Party completely against that move, rallied round the Chairman and ensured that attempt remained a will-o'-the-wisp with no real value.
This goes to show that the APC National Chairman still enjoys huge popularity and electoral value, contrary to what a few would have us believe.
Interestingly, after the Court of Appeal ordered a stay of execution on the suspension order from the FCT High Court, there really wasn't much celebration from the Oshiomhole camp, as the Comrade Chairman urged for restraint from his followers.
“I have been forced to agree that I am not the best chairman in the world and I will never be. But nobody can fault my sincerity of purpose. My style can only be my style but I have recognised that I must reconcile my style to the style of others so that we will meet in the middle of the way,” Oshiomhole said on Tuesday, adopting a reconciliatory tone for the first time since he assumed the leadership of the ruling party in 2018.
He was magnanimous in victory, admitting his shortcomings and promising to make sure his leadership style carries others along. He didn't stop there, but went on to match his words with action by seeing to the lifting of the suspensions earlier placed on Deputy National Chairman (North), Senator Lawan Shuaibu, and National Vice-Chairman (North-West), Inuwa Abdulkadir.
“I have asked everyone and they have accepted, whatever they consider to be my own shortcomings, I have asked for forgiveness and they have forgiven and whatever I considered to be anyone’s shortcomings that irritated me, I have also forgiven. This is the way it should be. It can only be abnormal if people know how to fight and they do not know how to settle,” the APC Chairman said.
Many a lesser man would have seen this victory as a time to gloat and mock his political enemies. Adams Oshiomhole is not an ordinary man, he is a leader, who inspires loyalty and awe in his followers by sheer dint of hard work and leading by example.
Comrade Oshiomhole has taken the most honourable path by shunning lackadaisical insouciance, opting instead to wave the olive branch at belligerent Party members in the noble interest of party supremacy and unity.
These party members could do a lot worse than accept the olive branch and let peace prevail.
Augustine writes from Ikpoba-Okha, Edo state.

Health › Coronavirus: How The Suspected Patient In Enugu ‘Died’ — Igbere TV by 9jaBlogger(op): 2:14pm On Mar 18, 2020 |
Coronavirus: Facts About The 70-Year-Old Woman and 'Wicked Blackmail' By Her Daughter in Enugu — IGBERE TV
It has been established that the 70-year-old suspected patient of coronavirus in Enugu did not die out of any negligence as being alleged in some quarters by the patient's "purported daughter".
The 70-year-old patient, a woman, who had just returned from the UK to the country, is said to have a history of other complications before she was admitted at the Enugu hospital.
As earlier reported by Igbere TV, the result of the investigation sent to Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital in Edo State, came out ‘negative’. This was further collaborated by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Further investigation launched into the deceased patient's history on Wednesday by Igbere TV, showed that the woman was well taken care of at the Isolation Centre and discharged by the health workers before her demise.
According to records at our disposal, the patient, who was first rejected at different hospitals in the state, had hypertension, sugar issues and kidney diseases which were poorly managed before her eventual admission at the Enugu Isolation Centre.
The health workers, therefore, expressed utmost dismay over “the mischievous allegation of negligence trending on social media, being peddled by the purported daughter of the 70-year-old woman”, while alleging blackmail on the part of the woman's family.
“As health workers in Enugu, we state that we have basic knowledge of what transpired as well as the high level commitment of the medical doctors and other personnel who worked tirelessly to manage the woman, that was first REJECTED by all federal medical institutions in Enugu, before she was accepted by the ESUT Teaching Hospital, Parklane, Enugu.”
They commended the Enugu State Government “for not joining issues with the so-called daughter of the woman who deliberately did not write her name, in her immoral, insensitive and baseless vituperations against the state and integrity of our medical profession (if truly she was the one that wrote the mischievous letter to the governor, trending on social media).”
“It is disheartening that when we expected her and other family members of the woman, to show gratitude to the state government and the medical personnel for accepting to treat their rejected mother, under such intense panic and anxiety over the suspected spread of the deadly COVID-19 in the state, it was not forthcoming.
The health workers said it was strange and they felt bad seeing the ‘so-called daughter of the woman’, who they said admitted her mother had multiple ailments, mischievously alleged that her “mother died due to the negligence and unpreparedness of the state in putting adequate facilities, including staff training in place”.
“We therefore state categorically that this allegation is false, mischievous and a clear case of ingratitude,” some of the health workers - Chinwe Udeh, Agatha Nnamani, Nkem Eze, Emeka Anene and Peter Udemezue, insisted. “Nothing can be farther from the truth.”
They berated the alleged woman's daughter for her act of mischief and ingratitude on social media, which they said was “aimed at undermining the efforts our colleagues, other medical personnel and the state government, made to save her mother.”
Calling the attention of the public to some “facts” that must have been largely responsible for the death of the patient, the health workers said, “the 70-year old woman was promptly received and interviewed by doctors without any form of stigmatization from them or other health workers.”
“She was having problem of cough and fever. Being a returnee from Europe qualified her to be a suspected case of COVID-19, which incidentally was NEGATIVE after the investigative result came out.
“Also, it was said that she had hypertension, sugar issues and kidney disease which were poorly managed before her admission at the isolation centre. Her personal doctor, a specialist at the ESUTH Parklane, was also contacted and later went to the Isolation Centre with two other specialists to see this woman.”
They said other "important tests" were carried out on the woman which showed her blood level was very low and needed transfusion, but “her son even refused to donate blood... but blood was sourced outside and later given to her.”
“These doctors and laboratory workers even collected sample from the throat of the woman for the main coronavirus test, hence there was no stigmatisation as the writer claimed,” added the health workers.
Insisting that no delay was recorded while treating the patient, the health workers said,“we all should remember that the NCDC said the result will be out by Monday, but the result came out on Sunday evening. Hence there was no delay in laboratory test. This result was said to be negative for corona virus.”
While refuting the claims that the Enugu Isolation Centre was not up to standard (as being alleged via viral photos on social media), the health workers said the late woman did not complain of neglect “as the whole health-care workers were with her until the time of her death.”
“Where was the supposed daughter all this while the mother was sick and being managed? It will be candid of us to know that where the woman was managed was clean and not the picture that is circulating on social media. May her soul rest in peace...”
The claims by the health workers were further collaborated by our team of reporters who were sent to the Enugu Isolation Centre on a 'low-key' investigation to get first-hand information, views and photos of the clinic as seen in the pictures below... http://igberetvnews.com/1344141/coronavirus-facts-70-year-old-woman-wicked-blackmail-daughter-enugu/

Health › Coronavirus: Mischief Makers At It In Enugu — IGBERE TV (photos) by 9jaBlogger(op): 10:42pm On Mar 17, 2020 |
Recently, a suspected case of the pandemic coronavirus (COVID-19) was discovered in Enugu state, a Southeastern state in Nigeria, as announced by the state government.
But in less than 24 hours of discovery, the suspected patient tested negative to the pandemic which is currently ravaging the world, claiming several lives at will.
The patient, a 70-year old woman, was said to have traveled to the United Kingdom where she spent five months and had just returned to the country.
A statement issued by the state's ministry of health and made available to Igbere TV, had said the result of the investigation sent to Irua Specialist Hospital in Edo state came out negative.
The statement was further corroborated by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, which equally announced the result of its investigation as ‘negative'.
Ordinarily, the efforts and emergency response of the medical personnel and the state government should be applauded. But reverse is the case. Instead, there has some unsavory pictures purporting to be that of the Isolation Centre where the woman was treated.
But investigations by Igbere TV has revealed that the story is not true, as those behind the false narrative are probably trying to play politics with the whole situation. If that is the case, then it is evil, barbaric and a joke taken too far.
First, it is immoral and insensitive to play politics with such a situation. Secondly, the flawed narrative by the purported daughter of the suspected patient is not only strange but a calculated attempt to undermine the efforts of the medical personnel who must have worked tirelessly to manage the situation.
Contrary to the pictures being circulated on social media as Enugu Isolation Centre, our team of reporters were on ground to obtain true images of the place, confirming that the allegations peddled against the medical personnel, the state government are untrue and should be disregarded.
A tour round the facilities at the Isolation Centre equally showed that the state government is indeed ready to curtail further outbreaks, even going by the recent release of N200 million to fight the pandemic.
It is therefore, doubtful if, indeed, it was the woman’s daughter that was behind this mischief. Otherwise, why should she display fake pictures of the Enugu Isolation Centre? What does she want to achieve by such blatant falsehood?
In conclusion, Igbere TV as a reputable and respected online medium which prides herself in standing with the people and for the truth, hereby call on the public to ignore the mischief makers as the story being painted on social media does not exist at the Enugu Isolation Centre. http://igberetvnews.com/1344101/coronavirus-mischief-makers-enugu-photos/

Politics › S’court Judgement: Imo People Must Rally Round Uzodinma - Anyim by 9jaBlogger(op): 9:26pm On Mar 17, 2020 |
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Chinenye Nyerere Anyim, has called on the people of Imo to rally round Governor Hope Uzodinma, following the Supreme Court judgement that sacked the administration of Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Describing the turn around victory of Uzodinma and the APC as “the will of God” in an exclusive interview with Igbere TV, Anyim, candidate of the APC in Abia state 2015 governorship election, said the people must learn to move on and put an end to every political division for the state to move forward.
“From the spiritual angle, the Bible says, "I will overturn..., until it is the turn of who it is..." The situation in Imo state has defiled any political permutation that we are now in a stage where we can only declare that, "it is the will of God",” he said.
“A late Supreme Court justice once said, "it is only God that can upturn the judgement of the Supreme Court and not the Court itself or any other human being". But it has happened. My advice is for the people to move on, rally round the new governor to move the state forward instead of an unending political division and rancor. There must be an end to every dispute.”
Anyim, the first elected Vice Chairman of the APC in Southeast, told Igbere TV that he was happy the party has regained at least one state in the zone, saying it was a good thing to have a sitting governor of the ruling party in the Southeast region.
“I am happy that the APC has at least, gotten one state in the Southeast because the situation before now was terrible. I think it is something great having a Southeastern governor in the ruling party,” Dr. Anyim added.
Apparently referring to the court ruling as legal, the APC chieftain said, “we were made to understand that the election did not produce a clear-cut winner in the first place because the person (Ihedioha) did not have the constitutional requirement of 2/3 spread across the state but was declared governor...”
On the crisis rocking the APC at the national level, Anyim said “the party leadership should be more careful and manage our victories well including the present situation rocking the APC. We must be able to have a more positive roadmap in 2023. We must all work hard to sustain the gains of this present (Buhari) administration.
“A political party that is not able to succeed itself is a failed party. We must work hard to institutionalize the gains we have recorded via the Adams Oshiomhole administration. If we fail to do that, we may start from square one again. God forbid!”
The Supreme Court had recently sacked Emeka Ihedioha of the PDP after about eight months in office, in a controversial judgement that saw Hope Uzodinma, a fourth runner-up in the election, emerge governor.
Even though the PDP and Uzodinma later challenged the ruling by seeking an upturn of the judgement at the Supreme Court, Igbere TV reports that the court maintained its earlier decision on Uzodinma and the APC.
The judgement came days after the predictions of Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka of the Adoration Ministry in Enugu state, who had predicted that Uzodinma of the APC would be returned as governor of Imo state. http://igberetvnews.com/1344085/scourt-judgement-imo-people-must-rally-round-uzodinma-anyim/

Politics › Abia 2019: APC Chieftain Reacts To Uche Ogah's Alleged Connivance With Ikpeazu by 9jaBlogger(op): 5:11pm On Mar 16, 2020 |
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Abia state, Dr. Chinenye Nyerere Anyim, has reacted to the allegations that Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah connived with Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to scuttle the chances of the party in the 2019 governorship election in the state.
Ogah, APC gubernatorial candidate in Abia and now the current Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, had been accused of colluding with Gov. Ikpeazu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to truncate the chances of the APC at the last guber polls.
A member of the APC Board of Trustees (BOT) in Abia, Prince B. B. Apugo, had alleged that Governor Ikpeazu personally purchased Ogah's APC nomination forms, and ended up using him to betray the party in the governorship election.
“The truth remains that we had no candidate, the candidate that stood for us, Uche Ogah, was just a makeup. He did not come to contest election; in fact before the election, he called and told me that it would be better to leave the governorship seat for Okezie Ikpeazu.”
The allegations levelled against Ogah was subsequently collaborated by Evang. Darlington Onyinyechukwu Samspon, a cousin of the minister, who, in a Facebook post, asked the people not to be quick in defending "some things ignorantly".
Uche Ogah, in a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties, however denied the accusations levelled against him by Prince Apugo.
Reacting to the allegations against minister Uche Ogah in an exclusive interview with Igbere TV, Dr. Anyim described the development as unfortunate, saying it was a mere political distraction for the APC in Abia state.
The former governorship candidate of the APC in the Abia 2015 governorship election, who insisted that the development wasn't new in the state's political space, however, cautioned politicians against making "unguarded utterances" in public.
“I see all these things as distraction, and very unfortunate one for that matter. Speaking from experience, I am a stakeholder in Abia APC and a leader in all ramification. I was a member of a major committee of the party and the first national vice-chairman of the APC in Southeast and eventually the party's gubernatorial candidate in the 2015 election.
“In those days, when we started the APC in Abia state, when we call for meetings, because of the turn-out, the interest and zeal people had for a change in the political equation in Abia state, it was like a wildfire for the government in power so they normally attacked us during our meetings until we started having mixed multitudes (of people from the other party) in our midst but we never stopped.
“I lost out in the 2015 governorship election in Abia, I didn't win not because I did not do any campaign, my campaign was so robust to the grassroot than even the party that claim they won. But you see, in those days, treachery and betrayals or if you like call it 'the enemies within'... There is no way I will be in my Ward and Polling Unit in Obingwa and at the same time, be in other Polling Units in the state. It is not possible because it is only God that is omnipresent.
“Our own party members who are supposed to be at the various polling units where the elections are conducted and results counted, you will not see them there. Inasmuch as we know that elections in Abia state, over the years, has been an issue of writing results and allocating results the way they want to do because they have the power but you still see find people after the elections to say all sort of things against the candidate of the party.
“I believe in my own way, if anybody disagrees with any member of the party, as a family, we should come together instead of washing our dirty linen in public. Accusations and counter-accusations exist everywhere even in other political parties. So to me, I don't want to be distracted by such gossip as it will always come. Like I said, it is just like every other political distraction but I think at this level of our political development, we should be more matured and very careful with certain utterances,” Dr. Anyim added. http://igberetvnews.com/1343935/nyerere-anyim-reacts-uche-ogahs-alleged-connivance-ikpeazu/Lalasticlala Seun Mynd44

The website and Facebook page of popular online medium, Igbere TV have been hacked after its Executive Director, Emeh James Anyalekwa was abducted in Abuja on Thursday.
Anyalekwa was last seen around Kubwa area of the nation's capital at about 7pm, with his current location still unknown.
As at the time of filing this report, all the editors of the online medium have been removed as admin from the website and Facebook page.
All attempts by the editors to access the website's c-panel/admin login area did not yield any positive result.
Speaking with ABN TV over the ugly situation, a staff of Igbere TV said they woke up to a ‘report’ on both their website and Facebook page with the headline, "Igbere TV boss dead".
The staff, however, denied making such publication, revealing that the last post made by their known editors was Thursday night moments after the abduction of Anyalekwa.
A statement subsequently made available to ABN TV in Abuja by the management team of Igbere TV, confirmed the development.
“The management and staff of Igbere TV are still worried about the whereabouts of our Executive Director, Emeh James Anyalekwa.
“As at 7:00pm on Thursday till this very moment, all his known phone lines are switched off and messages sent to his WhatsApp, Facebook not replied.
“While still worried, dejected and devastated about the whereabouts of our boss, the staff woke up this morning to a post on the website and Facebook page with the headline, ‘Igbere TV Boss Dead’.
“We wish to state categorically that the report did not emanate from us as all our editors have been unable to access the website and Facebook page since Thursday.”
Igbere TV, however, revealed that necessary calls have been made to ascertain the whereabouts of their boss, while calling on security agencies to arrest the situation.

Politics › Igbere TV Boss, Anyalekwa To Grace Eze Kanu’s Burial In Afaraukwu by 9jaBlogger(op): 8:55am On Feb 07, 2020 |
Emeh James Anyalekwa, Founder and Director of Igbere TV News, is among the top dignitaries to grace the burial of the parents of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Igbere TV had reported that the parents of the IPOB leader, late HRH Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and late Mrs. Ugoeze Sally Nmeme Okwu-Kanu, would be buried on February 14, 2020.
Speaking with newsmen on Friday in Lagos, the Igbere TV boss who doubles as National President of the Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN), said he plans to attend the burial with his family.
Kanu had earlier announced that the burial of his parents would follow the normal burial preparation, according to the custom of the land.
He said, “The burial of our parents will be on the 14th of February, 2020.
“We are not going to disclose our security arrangements because they are much enemies who wish to destroy or destabilize every effort made for the successful burial.
“IPOB is on ground and nothing will change our resolve to protect the environment.”
Kanu stressed the resolve of the group to maintain peaceful approach to their struggle for the actualization of Biafra republic.
“We are peaceful and will maintain it to last point. But nobody should try IPOB,” he insisted.
The IPOB leader lost his father Eze Israel Kanu, four months after his mother, Ugoeze Sally Kanu, also died.
Although Nnamdi Kanu lost his mother in August 2019, the development was only announced recently.
Igbere TV reports that Eze Kanu was the traditional ruler of Afaraukwu community in Umuahia, Abia State, until his death. http://igberetvnews.com/1337197/igbere-tv-boss-anyalekwa-grace-eze-kanus-burial-afaraukwu/

Politics › Emeh James Anyalekwa: Justice Abang Orders EFCC, DSS To Arrest Igbere TV Boss by 9jaBlogger(op): 10:13pm On Feb 05, 2020 |
Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered for the arrest of Emeh James Anyalekwa, publisher of Igbere TV News and National President, Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN).
The order followed a publication by Nigerian Concord, claiming the court had concluded plans to jail at all cost, a former Benue governor Gabriel Suswam, who is standing trial over alleged N3.1 billion fraud.
The newspaper had alleged on February 1 that Justice Abang, who is presently presiding over the trial of Suswam, had prior contact with the prosecution team and some All Progressives Congress (APC) officials in respect to the case.
Igbere TV had republished the story on its website the following day February 2, while also giving full credits to the online platform (Nigerian Concord) on whose website the story first appeared.
Checks by this online medium shows that the 'controversial publication' was widely republished by several news platforms between the 1st and 3rd February, aside Igbere TV News.
But appearing in Court on Wednesday, Justice Abang ordered the Inspector-General of Police, Department of State Services (DSS) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), to apprehend the Igbere TV boss.
He gave the agencies 21 days (from today) to jointly carry out "proper findings" into the publication, submit their report and produce Mr. Anyalekwa in court.
Contacted, spokesman for Igbere TV said the publication was sourced from the website of a "credible national daily" which he said was duly acknowledged.
“The report did not originate on Igbere TV but was first published by Nigerian Concord which we duly credited. Nigerian Concord is a credible National Newspaper,” he said.
“We pulled down the report when we later discovered that the original source (Nigerian Concord), had deleted it from their website,” the Igbere TV spokesman added.

Politics › 2020 Guber: Why We Demolished Kabaka’s Hotel - Edo State Govt by 9jaBlogger(op): 3:18pm On Feb 05, 2020*. Modified: 4:29pm On Feb 05, 2020 |
The Governor Godwin Obaseki led Edo state government on Wednesday claimed it demolished a hotel belonging to Mr. Tony Kabaka, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, because it was sited on the road.
A Special Assistant to the Governor on Digital Media made the claims when contacted to react to the actions of the state government despite an existing court injunction restraining the government from carrying out the action.
“Having vacated the injunction secured by Tony Adun aka Kabaka restraining the Edo State Government from executing the demolition notice earlier served him with regards to his illegally-sited property in Ugbor-Amagba axis of Benin City, the Edo State Government today mobilised heavy duty equipment and security officials to the said property for its demolition,” she said.
But a chieftain of the APC and ally of Adams Oshiomhole, National Chairman of the party, disagreed with the state government's claim, insisting that the existing court injunction was never vacated as claimed by the Governor's Media Assistant.
“That is not true, the case is still in court. There is an existing injunction restraining the Governor from carrying out his threat; but it's unfortunate that Obaseki has now turned himself into a a tyrant disobeying lawful court orders,” he said.
Igbere TV had reported that the affected hotel, Mega Touch Of Klass, was pulled down by the state government earlier today. Kabaka is a strong critic of Obaseki who had openly declared he was not supporting the governor's reelection bid.
Even though the state government claims the demolition was not politically motivated, many believe that the government is witch-hunting the party chieftain for withdrawing support for the Obaseki led administration.
Obaseki has been at loggerhead with his predecessor and APC national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, who currently enjoys the support of Kabaka - a strong critic of the Obaseki government.

Politics › Coronavirus: Time To Evacuate Nigerians Is Now, NIDO China Boss Sends SOS To FG by 9jaBlogger(op): 1:40pm On Feb 05, 2020 |
By Ogochukwu Isioma, Abuja
Nigerians living in China have again appealed to the President Muhammadu Buhari led federal government to come to their rescue, as the deadly coronavirus continue to spread in the Asian city.
The latest appeal is coming from Mr. Festus Mbisiogu, Coordinator of Nigerians in Diaspora (NIDO), Guangdong province of China who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Bluediamond Logistics, China.
Speaking with Igbere TV on Wednesday, the NIDO Coordinator said he was sending an SOS to the Buhari government to consider the plea of Nigerian citizens in China to be evacuated to safe region, most especially Nigerian students in the city of Wuhan, the epicenter of the raging epidemic.
“With one recorded case of infection of a Cameroonian student in the city of Wuhan, and the first African in China to be infected, there is heightened fear that situation could get worse,” he said.
According to him, “China is doing its utmost best to bring the disease under control by employing some of the harshest measures that would automatically limit the spread beyond expectation.
“As days unfold, these measures begin to reveal other painful situations among occupants in the city, most especially foreign students who have been surviving on very limited rations and support without any visible contact to friends and families outside the city.”
He said, “The entire city of Wuhan is locked down while other cities observe similar strict measures of compliance. In like manner, neighbouring borders like Hongkong, Indonesia, Vietnam etc, has tightened cross border movements, while Indonesia and few other countries took the pains to fly their citizens out of China completely.”
Continuing, Mr. Mbisiogu added, “In Guangdong, our place of business; my staff have remained indoors since the beginning of the spring festival holidays till date and there is no near respite in sight. However we have remained hopeful trusting in Chinas capability to bring the situation under control.
“In some cities, public transportation and outdoor activities of any kind is arbitrarily suspended and individuals are compelled to comply as a form of support to the efforts of the authorities to combat the raging disease.
“While these measures exists, some of the Nigerians contacted have cried out to the Nigerian government to consider the plight of over a hundred Nigerian students holed in their hostels and school communities in the city of Wuhan without further funds and provisions as the city remained locked down till date.”
The Bluediamond boss re-echoed the motion raised by Hon. Benjamin Kalu (APC, Abia) during plenary at the House of Representatives, urging the federal government to immediately evacuate stranded Nigerians in China.
Igbere TV recalls that Hon. Kalu, who doubles as House Spokesman, had called on Nigeria to immediately evacuate her citizens, most especially those in the city of Wuhan where occupants of the city have remained continuously indoor since the outbreak of the coronavirus.
“...If need be, let Nigeria evacuate and quarantine returnees like other nations whose citizens were stranded in the crisis has done,” he had opined.
The NIDO China coordinator appealed to the Nigerian government to take matters affecting the welfare of Nigerians in China as utmost priority in these trying times, while efforts to curb the spread of the deadly virus continue to be emphasized.
On his part, a Nigerian student in Wuhan, China who identified himself simply as Mr. Tunde Rahman, said Nigerians in the city would be grateful if the Nigerian government listens to their call for rescue.
“We do not pray for the uneventful but it is wise to employ every cautionary measure like any country whose welfare of its citizens overseas is an issue,” he said.
Igbere TV reports that since the outbreak of the coronavirus, the number of infections have continued to rise by day, reaching up to over 20,000 infected cases and over 400 deaths in China alone. http://igberetvnews.com/1336856/coronavirus-nigerians-china-cry-fgs-abandonment/Lalasticlala Mynd44 Seun
