It's okay. What do you want to study and why did you dodge Biology? |
May this insensitive statement always haunt you. Faceless forum or not.

Congrats Bella. I know say one day you go make us proud. |
Proverbs 7 New International Version (NIV) Warning Against the Adulterous Woman 1 My son, keep my words and store up my commands within you. 2 Keep my commands and you will live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye. 3 Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and to insight, “You are my relative.” 5 They will keep you from the adulterous woman, from the wayward woman with her seductive words. 6 At the window of my house I looked down through the lattice. 7 I saw among the simple, I noticed among the young men, a youth who had no sense. 8 He was going down the street near her corner, walking along in the direction of her house 9 at twilight, as the day was fading, as the dark of night set in. 10 Then out came a woman to meet him, dressed like a prostitute and with crafty intent. 11 (She is unruly and defiant, her feet never stay at home; 12 now in the street, now in the squares, at every corner she lurks.) 13 She took hold of him and kissed him and with a brazen face she said: 14 “Today I fulfilled my vows, and I have food from my fellowship offering at home. 15 So I came out to meet you; I looked for you and have found you! 16 I have covered my bed with colored linens from Egypt. 17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon. 18 Come, let’s drink deeply of love till morning; let’s enjoy ourselves with love! 19 My husband is not at home; he has gone on a long journey. 20 He took his purse filled with money and will not be home till full moon.” 21 With persuasive words she led him astray; she seduced him with her smooth talk. 22 All at once he followed her like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer[a] stepping into a noose[b] 23 till an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him his life. 24 Now then, my sons, listen to me; pay attention to what I say. 25 Do not let your heart turn to her ways or stray into her paths. 26 Many are the victims she has brought down; her slain are a mighty throng. 27 Her house is a highway to the grave, leading down to the chambers of death. |
Congrats Asisat.. The more you quote Trolls, the more encouraged they get. If they are totally ignored, they won't get the attention they so much crave and thus, trolling won't be fun for them. |
Happigirl12:Yea, he also has job satisfaction. That's a very important aspect of building a fulfilling and successful career. |
Intelligence Quotient is actually a measure of the degree/level of a person's ability to think and learn. It factors Age, Environment and Genetics and focuses on the person's cognitive abilities (acquisition of knowledge using reasoning, intuition or perception). The tests are standardized and varies per age group and most people fall within the 85-115 range (average intelligence). The controversy generated by Kim Ung-Yong's case is expected because when someone gains remarkable popularity as a child prodigy, he/she is naturally expected to do extraordinary things and break new grounds. In his case though, I agree that NASA was quite insensitive. His childhood was taken away without consideration for job satisfaction and he rebelled. I don't consider him a failure at all. Although I would have loved him to become an Albert Einstein or Stephen Hawking who incidentally have considerable lower IQs of 160, I think Kim is quite accomplished as a qualified Professor doing something he loves. It's not always about Intelligence Quotient, Emotional Quotient also counts. Ask Malcolm Gladwell. |
Mine is still working. I hope it keeps working even though I've said my goodbyes ![]() |

How did you get vivid details of the attack? Two things are involved here; your admission & your name. As a very practical person, I unequivocally state that your admission is gone. So focus on clearing your name if indeed you are innocent. The first thing you should do is to confide in a family member, preferably your father. Then go to a police station, make a statement and turn yourself in. Ensure that you say the whole truth about your previous cult activities and your relationship with the lecturer. Be very careful with your narrative. Anything you did not witness, say 'you learnt or you heard from (state your source). The way you described the incident at the lecturer's house is self-incriminating. Only the truth will give you a fighting chance right now. So come totally clean so you don't contradict yourself if cross-examined. Attempted murder carries a minimum sentence of 10 years imprisonment. |
