It is understandable if soldiers go berserk when one of their own is killed. What happened at Ikorodu Road however was absolutely reprehensible. Officers and men of the Nigerian Army went on rampage, destroying Lagos State Government property (BRT Buses) because one of their own was killed in a road traffic accident by a BRT Bus. [img]http://2.bp..com/-W8PtMNZNY0o/U7fCckzN3pI/AAAAAAAAAbA/qfE8oP0HX6g/s1600/opinion.jpg[/img] Not minding how the soldier came about being killed in the first place, but going by what we know of uniformed men in Lagos it is almost certain the soldier was probably plying on a BRT lane. Anyway, that is beside the point. Any death, whether by accident or not, is sad and painful, but for men of the Nigerian Army to capitalize on that accident to commit acts of arson and vandalism is not only unacceptable, but also irresponsible. Why don’t they deploy such angst against Boko Haram who continues to kill and maim their colleagues every now and then? I have as friends men of the Nigerian military establishment who are very responsible and level headed. I shudder to think they would behave in such manner as did their colleagues yesterday on Ikorodu Road, given the same circumstance. It is unlikely. Highly unlikely! So what happened yesterday that the commander of this rampaging army could not control his men? And for the Minister of State for Defense, Musliu Obanikoro to claim that the wanton destruction of BRT buses was carried out, not by soldiers, but by miscreants a'la Area Boys, is not only unintelligent lie but also damned insulting to the people of Lagos.. I did not even read half of the story before I knew its a complete scam cos u cannot have a fast thinking brain like that and cant convince people around you to get you a laptop or gather at least 50 of your age mate in is same school for a N1k seminar fee per participant to make money for the laptop. This kind of people make online biz difficult for genuine people in Nigeria. Seun cannot handle it the way u sugested the best he can do is to put it in front page (public view) for assesment. |

Radio and television stations are the major cause of the problem. They keep collecting adverts from fake seminars guys that promise attendants they can start a blog and make more than N300k monthly by just copying and pasting. |

STEKENT: You people are talking as if you don‘t know what Nigerian can do, during my university day a friend of mine fail one course and he wrote letter for re-marking of script and the department agreed by giving out the script to other lecturer to mark but later the lecturer confess that the guy pass but he will not allow the suspension of his colleague to come from him he fail the guy knowing fully well that the guy actually pass the course. So forget the issue and move on with your life. Though the candidate get thier own so also JAMBthat is exactly what happened in this Jamb case |
