He should better be technology wise now to avoid further embarassment.

Amelian: A close friend of mine sent me, this message:
There's no Absolute Finish line for everyone in the race of Life.
Our tracks are different and Durations are different. The only thing We have in common is the Empire.
For instance, One person graduates @ age 20 and struggles for another 5 yrs to get a job;
Another might graduate @ 27 and get a job immediately.
One can marry a Virgin and wait the next decade to have the blessings of children, another lady probably after taking series of pills not to get pregnant after sexing different series of guys in her past becomes A mother almost immediately after 9months of marriage.
A fellow becomes MD @38 and dies @56... Another becomes MD @ 55 and lives to 90...!
What a Life!....life is full of twists, turns , ups and downs with many more surprises and disappointments .. It's up to us to each one of us to prepare patiently , wait , recognize and utilize every opportunity.. We learn on the way.. No one knows it all OR has it BETTER, no one .
There's a reason why we all don't fall or rise at the same time. It's so that when one is down, weak and discouraged , The other who is Strong can encourage and Lift the other person

This is true

hyelhira: The available spaces in Nigerian institutions cannot absorb all students writing JAMB/UTME examinations in each year even if they all pass. According to the Minister of Education, “The major challenge is a country like Nigeria having 1.7 million sitting for examination. The space we have is 520,000 for federal, states, private universities, polytechnics and colleges of education.”Source: Punch, April 28, 2013. The purpose of this write up is not to appraise the UTME but to let students know that they have other credible alternatives (though these may be unpopular or unconventional) to obtain higher qualifications. Some of these are considered briefly below.

•Foreign Institutions
These will readily give admission to students from all over the world but the costs are prohibitive. For instance, average undergraduate UK course fees per year is about £12,000 (~N2.94m; £1 = N245)

•Part-time Study
A lot of these stop midway because they are not accredited by relevant bodies e.g. NUC, NBTE, etc. Also, these are not accepted by the NYSC.

•Scholarships
Scholarships and grants do exist but they are too few. A lot of time, beneficiaries of government scholarships do not get the funds regularly/on time.

•Approved Open and Distance Learning
The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) offers various courses to students which are approved by the NUC and also acceptable for the purpose of the National Youth Service Scheme. The only challenge with this is that most students lack the discipline to study independently.

However, some organisations are providing innovative solutions to willing students. An example is the Dual Qualification Program offered by GGA Professional Partners (see http://www.ggacollege.org/contact-us/information-request-form/) to its students who are willing to combine a BSc program with NOUN with their regular professional studies. The firm integrates the syllabi of ICAN with that of the BSc in Accounting or BSc Entrepreneurial & Business Management of NOUN as the student desires. This enables students acquire a professional qualification (ICAN) in addition to a degree at the end of their studies.

Parents/guardians and students should start thinking out of the box and make good use of such opportunities instead of students just mopping around or wasting another year to face another UTME with its uncertainties.

if this is true its a nice idea to complement NOUN

Will paypal and other services that doesn’t accept Nigerians on their website accept Nigerians because of this card?

Parents should also be careful cos many jambites are going to business centers to edit their jamb slip so as to scam their parents.

ALL YOU NEED IS YOUR JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBER FOR THE CHECKING.

the site did not open on phone

Opening jamb site www.jamb.org.ng to check the result of people close to me since the site jamb released www.myjambresult.com is not opening they keep redirecting me to WAEC G.C.E registration site. Is it a form of advert for WAEC G.C.E registration or what?

You are on your own cos dat school if you have problem on their site the e-mail and phone number provided for technical support is just fake. Send mail you will not get a reply for one year, Call their phone switched forever. As it stands now if you are a new student after entering all your data and O' level result details you cant submit unless u go to their study centre to help u submit and this a school that claim its a study at home school. Its like they have imcompetent site admin and poor customer relationship.

THE NUMBER OF THE STUDENTS THEY WANT TO ADMIT IS TOO POOR COMPARE TO THE NUMBER THAT APPLIED FOR JAMB.

The golden rule is if you are a man try to be rich. If you are a lady try to be good looking and pretend to have good character if you dont have already. All other things would be added to you.

Offline schools will soon go online.

This thread is created with the intention to mock Nigerian president and its wife so I am not part of it.

Billyonaire: The bolded is an indication of how hilarious your opinion is. Are you telling me that Money Ritualist billionaires live in remote villages instead of the affluent metropolitan Cities where banks exist for them to put their billions ? That they chose to hide in villages in their 20 Stories Sky-crappers and drive their Phantom Rolls Royce and private jets in the villages ? Please do not mix-up issues. Proof that ritual money exist and cease the story telling of hear-say, hear-say!

you are the only person I see with complete mystical knowledge on this forum. Great mystics do not believe anything unless proven to be so and none of them av been able to prove it. They should be talking of Alchemy instead of this MR.

It's unfortunate that if a black man discovers it becomes fake but if it's white it becomes real and outstanding discovery.

Mobile money is a good avenue that Nigerian Postal Service would have use to revive their service but its unfortunate its a Nigerian government agency which is heading for extinct if proper measure is not taken.

The idea is a good one but the Nigerian police is not matured for that. The project should be out sourced to other capable agency.

After listening to most Nigerian leader interview you will be speechless cos they have a way of making their self look saint even if they are corrupt.
