If you want to bring the Uefa cup into the mix fine i agree you have a point but look at the top 4 in Spain,England and Italy critically aside Milan and Juve which other member in the top 4 in Italy has made it to the Semis or Finals recently same goes for Spain even Madrid have not smelt the semis for 5 years compare it with the Prem where each member has played in the final for the last 4 seasons

Milan and Inter topped their groups but got schooled by English opposition what does that tell you?

Ade was verry good entertainment with his ridiculous diving antics. The one he got a yellow for was just too funny grin

@vichel shocked
The guy don vex you before? grin
The guy was a wimp today he was just diving left right and center where did all the stamina go?i think he has been hanging out with Eboue too often they should practice on improving their ball skills and technique instead of miming the latest Koffi Olomide and Papa Wemba and practicing the latest makossa dance-steps

RVP needs a talking to i am happy he had to use his head for the 2nd goal instead of his legs who knows what would have happened to that chance if it fell to his powerful left foot

Please what do you think about this write up. Abeg help me call others too to just comment and advice me on correction where neccessary. It is a scholarship write up sort of. Thanks.

BACKGROUND DESCRIPTION/REASON WHY I SHOULD BE CONSIDERED[/b]

My name is Tunde, Born Twenty-three years ago, in a family of six, Father/Mother inclusive. I am a Nationality of Nigeria from Oyo State. I use English Language and Yoruba (a Native) Language as my medium of communication.

I have IJMB ‘A’ Level certificate as my highest qualification. I also have a High School Certificate (Senior Secondary Certificate Examination). I have also positioned myself incase of any international scholarship open doors by striving to get the following international test; TOEFL, SAT 1 & 2.

Before I finish High School, the desire to obtain a quality higher education has always been ringing alertness in me. I have also desired to study Medicine due to my empathy for the sick, diseased and people suffering from health imbalance. This passion also prompted me to join the Red Cross Society which I contributed my best in achieving the organization’s goals before my high school exit. I have always had it in mind to contribute to the reduction & eradication of the spread of diseases resulting in the untimely death of people in my society, Africa and the world at large. I also have the vision of establishing one of the World’s best Medical schools in Africa.

Conversely I have flare for design (Multimedia, graphics, and other designs field). My exposure to the computer system facilitated my knowledge of graphic designs, HMTL Design, Microsoft office suit and others computer operation interface which had helped me make money that I channeled into to taking some international test and further developing me. If there is another field apart from medicine that I will like to be attach to, is Computer Science, but ofcourse my desire for the medicine study is far greater compare to Computer Science.

I have always got the tremendous financial support and all other necessary things from my family who believed in my vision to become one of the top global health practitioners. Their financial support for my visions came to a near halt when we were majorly robbed twice in 1999 and 2000. My dad was shot in the process which detached one of his veins and we had to spend huge fund to keep him alive which actually happened, but the family’s source of sustenance was forfeited to this misfortune. Since then we struggle to achieve end-means. But my vision still stays despite the challenges and frustrations resulting from lack of fund to further my studies.

You will agree with me that to push my goals and visions to fruition, good and quality education is inevitable which ofcourse cannot be achieved without funds and obviously is not forth coming from my parents (My trader mum who got bankrupt and my dad who lost his cab as a result of the above mentioned situation) have not got the capacity now. Hence the need for a Financial Assistance and consideration for the scholarship offer to achieve my dreams. Your value in my education at this stage of my life is highly inevitable; I want to ask that you please come to my rescue.

Thank you in advance for considering me for this Scholarship. God bless XXXXXXXXXX Organization.
How would anyone consider you for scholarship when you don't even know which section you should be posting this kind of information tongue

@kay_pumpin
I just weak anything short of a win today and we would almost be on a mission impossible to chase that title
Consistency is key to anything we want to achieve this season we would not go far with a Jekyll and Hyde performance throughout the season.Arsene's selection dey give me headache sometimes i miss the good old days where one could just sleep easy and be confident of winning Everton,Sunderland,Fulham and these other red-neck teams

@A-40,

What issue are we flogging? we are saying lower teams just lay down to be raped in the EPL.

Kaiserslautern played the UCL quarter finals some years back, Lazio played q-finals some years back, Deportivo was a regular feature some years back.

When would we see West ham or Boro play the UCL quarter finals?
Didn't Boro play Uefa Cup final in 06? You guys should stop sipping that haterade its bad for your body
Where is Deportivo now? are they a force to be reckoned with how about Lazio? the EPL is head and shoulders ahead of the rest because of cash and management if the other leagues in Europe can follow suit they would definitely catch up
Top teams in Europe get raped by EPL teams these days how much more EPL teams.PSV Dutch Champions got schooled at Anfield by a team that finished 4th in the league Portuguese Champions Porto where decapitated by Arsenal can't you just simply accept that the balance of power has shifted and lets move on

Was the outcome ever in doubt? i am just suprised they didn't lose by a scandalous margin!! they had lost that match since the first leg when they could not win at home.Enyimba is notorious for their poor away record

To be honest though is Al Ahly the only club in Africa? i think this is their 4th straight final or thereabout

Why all this focus on the Prem how about Ligue 1 where Lyon has won seven straight you guys should lay off the Premiership anyone that knows footie should know its all about eras we had the Spanish era.The Italian and even the Germans had their day in the sun now its England's turn they rule the roost when it comes to club football there is no point over-flogging this issue
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by A40(m): 9:16pm On Oct 18, 2008
Thank God we didn't lose or draw that would have been disaster and right now looking at every member of the top 4 we Gunners cannot afford to slip-up all man mean business this season

On the game i think our defense is whack and something needs to be done fast i guess i was praising them too soon earlier in the season but Silvestre had a suprisingly good game we also have issues with that central midfield Denilson is too light-weight and we really need an anchor-man and looking around i think Arsene should really consider using Diaby for that role

Le Boss almost goofed today by playing Song at right back i mean what kofonomi did Eboue cook for Arsene this Ivorien is not and will never be a good winger his place is at RB in the absence of Sagna

RVP and Adebayor didn't do too well either RVP has forgotten the tip i gave him some weeks back he needs to cut down on those missiles he keeps firing in the 18 yard box and work on his accuracy.Adebayor!! one more stinker from you and i would have you kidnapped ma Ijaw connection is deep is this what we get for paying you like Henry? dives and falling to the ground at the slightest of touches it seems all that money is getting him light-headed he needs to get his shit together and fast

Theo!!!! What else can be said about that boy i just hope Arsene does not become over-reliant on that boy the whole team has got to improve.Nasri thank you for showing these boys how to shoot from outside

Clichy gave us great hustle as usual,Welcome back Diaby hopefully you could give us one good season this time

Almunia aside the goal had a good game

On to injury news thankfully Nasri's injury is not that serious and should even be back for the Fenerbache game.Gallas,Bendtner,Sagna and Djourou are still out but should be back for West Ham even Toure would not make Fenerbache it seems although Bendtner and Sagna are 50-50 for the game at Istanbul

How on earth do you hope to find a babe when your 'strongest'point is that you're unemployed. I thought you might need to consider some good things that will attract a lady to yourself first or don't you have any? No serious and matured lady would like to give an unemployed guy a good attention.
I feel ya i mean didn't he think of any good or nice qualities he could highlight? throwing the i am unemployed line is definitely going to be a stinker

Be honest that foul did deserve a red was a harsh tackle

The moment Valencia went off i knew Liverpool would win that match they are showing good fighting spirit and thats what has been lacking in the past!! i still think they would run out of luck one day especially if they are playing much better and defensively disciplined sides
