steady986: Like 4 months was not enough for him to recoup. And they had to choose the toughest games for him to sit out. Wetin concern you? Why don't you want Kawhi fresh for the postseason? Sitting Kawhi helped the Raptors to a title. Are you scared this would be the outcome if the Clippers followed suit? Is this why you are so pressed? |

lets be honest here
espn, tnt all these broadcasters pay good money to show viewers these stars They made their luck
Would they rather see Kawhi miss 19 odd games or miss a year and half? |

iamJ: kwahi was gifted that ring thanks to injuries that affected Golden states
Let's not lie to ourselves, if he met a fit Golden states team, he wouldn't have stood a chance You can only beat what is put in front of you. 2017 WCF Kawhi and the Spurs were running Golden State out of the gym Game 1 before Zaza Pachulia happened. Who knows what would have been the outcome if Kawhi was healthy? You can only beat what is in front of you |

iamJ: cause what's the use, load management is making them lose games
If they were wining we will understand I'm sure they knew the cost of that. However it would not be an issue once PG returns. They are trading regular season W's for a fresh Kawhi come Postseason. It worked spectacularly for the Raptors with one of the best postseason individual performances |

Why are you people crying more than the bereaved? I don't hear Clippers management complaining
Some players are more injury prone than others and if that's how he plans to extend his ability to compete come playoffs then leave him to his devices. Why are y'all so paranoid? |

steady986: I'm glad to see that we're beginning to change your mind a bit. But you're not there yet, I want you to be a total convert. Maybe we have to beat the Clippers for that to happen. And I promise they'll suffer at least two defeats in the hands of the Lakers this regular season, and at least one would be a blowout. You're a very funny guy. Kawhi dey learn work where you dey walahi As if this was not me when the team was formed. This idea that the Lakers are any kind of underdog we must strongly correct A40: No no all jokes aside. If you're talking chemistry issues perhaps but from a talent standpoint the Lakers have the best roster in the league by a distance. If I knew this would be the outcome of players they would land I wouldn't troll them for not getting Kawhi
I repeat Boogie Cousins and Kyle Kuzma are their third best players. Boogie Cousins has the 5th highest scoring average among active players. He's still only 28.
It will be a crying disgrace and a huge stain on LeNomad's legacy if this team doesn't win it all |

SmooshCHN: I agreed with this already even as a Steph fan. The boy is legit. I don't get the "it's too early" excuse. His only problem is his efficiency and shot choices like he did in the first quarter in yesterday's game but this is normal for a rookie and he adjusted. That boy is good. It's never too early to project. That's what is intended. You see a player's skillset and suggest that this player can reach this ceiling if he keeps improving. Even at this point his efficiency is the only glaring flaw I can see. As for passing and playmaking he is not that far from Steph |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:22am On Nov 06, 2019 |

Roland17: Jackson had to utilize his biggest strengths with are his feet and elusiveness to cement his place as the starting QB for the Ravens last season. I think this was the right thing to do considering it was his first season as the starting QB, it would have been risky to restrict him to being pocket QB. Credit to J. Harbaugh for recognizing that and allowing the kid play to his strength during his first season, this helped build the confidence to strengthen other aspects of his game.
You already know how I feel about my GOAT but you are right, outside of Christian McCaffery who has 13 touchdowns, I don’t think anyone comes close to Wilson. It’s between Wilson and McCaffery for me with Wilson number one thus far. I am in agreement with that. He did the needful but got badly exposed when they faced the Chargers in the playoffs. Where he put up arguably the worst QB performance ever. He has clearly improved on his throwing which is a must especially in games where he would have to come from behind. Fortunately for him he also plays on a team with a strong defense. Lool goat with just one Superbowl appearance. Una too dey overhype that guy abeg. Wilson, McCaffrey in that order |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:02am On Nov 06, 2019 |
While I suspected this Lakers team would be deep I must say I am surprised at just how deep they are. They went on a 16-0 run with LeNomad on the bench. Even if they get found out by the Clippers it's pretty clear they will likely beat up a lot of less loaded teams to get a very high seed regardless |

TalonVonner: PEDs have always been present in the NBA. I'm guessing the younger dudes arent very good at masking and cycling or that NBA testing is becoming more stringent and if thats the case, expect some high profile scalps soon. Ayton was caught trying to mask the PEDs he had presumably already used. I get the OG vets but these young pups are too young for this shyte. A second strike is 55 games and a third will see them wind up like Tyreke Evans |

raumdeuter: point of correction
Hakimi has 4 CL goals this season the same number of CL goals from open play that Hidden Hazard has his entire CL career
Neverkusen is hopeless, they will likely lose again
See ten Hag and the Ajax boys Chai. So it's even 4? Was counting the goal vs Slavia Prague and the brace tonight. Hidden defenders should be hiding their face. This record is abominable 3 German teams in the next round is much better than I anticipated so Neverkusen can continue Neverkusening I've seen past Ten Hag interviews and he has always expressed interest in coming over and stepping up from the youth to the main team. I'm willing to wait till summer. Watching Ajax and how he's able to make them play it's a complete no-brainer |

My boy Götze providing 2 assists and Hakimi with 3 goals this season, the Moroccan Marcelo. Meanwhile a certain Shakushaku dancer in Madrid has 4 goals from open play in 7 seasons of CL soccer |

TalonVonner: Last card i remember this stacked is ufc 217. UFC 245 is also stacked AF as long as everyone makes it to the octagon. Dana trying hard to appease those shareholders towards the end of the year. They usually save their best for last. This is why Bones was so pissed that he has nobody to fight. Though I think UFC 244 had the more fire card. Speaking of UFC 245 I'd be really upset if Kamaru does not reconstruct Covington's face. Don't want no decisions, he needs to knock him the f**k out TalonVonner: Its also one of the strangest cards i've ever watched, bar the main event almost every fight lived up to the hype. None of these fights went the way i or most people expected. Seems its not just dana whose set for a red panty night, the bookies are as well, I knew there was a chance corey would win but i thought hed take him to the ground. I didnt think for one second corey stood a chance striking with him but i guess i was wrong. Jones was right, everyone will look spectacular fighting bums. Maybe he didnt take corey seriously or maybe he was just overrated. You're absolutely right, LHW is a barren land but until stipe and DC fight i think he has one more fight at LHW, corey and reyes should fight and jones should get the winner. Weird flex that you call the fight a fight for the 'Baddest Mofo' title and stop the fight for that. Not that I think any of them deserves it anyway after racking up so many L'S Johnny Walker had literally fought nobody. Didn't buy the hype at all. LHW is a wasteland but like you suggested Corey and Reyes should go at it so we see who at least stands some type of shot against Jones TalonVonner: Darren was absolutely cerebral in the way he fought, was clever and efficient. Surprised me, i thought he was going to get KOd TBH. Looked really good. Good to see bigger names like wonder boy and Lee (that KO though) bouncing back with wins as well.
BTW, about Till... I really like this guy, just imagining him saying this in that scouse accent LOL Till looks more of a natural at middleweight. Hope he stays there. I have always wondered why these guys go through that trouble cutting weight, robbing themselves of power and staying in the wrong weight class |

Roland17: The same narrative/ argument they make about most black QB in college. Infact, some GM’s advised the kid to switch to a receiver before the draft because he did not have a future as a QB in the NFL. Winning the Heisman trophy did not even matter to those GM’s. I am glad he stuck to his guns and is now reaping the rewards. His performance yesterday, particularly throwing the ball shut the narrative that he is only good as a runner and not a thrower. I just hope he stays humble because things change very fast in the NFL. They tried to convert him to an RB. Credit to him because he really worked on his arm strength and ability to progress through his reads. Last season he couldn't throw 10 yards past the line of scrimmage but at least now he's a capable passer if not an excellent one. He's like Vick and RG3 on steroids and the one edge he has over Cam Newton is his elusiveness, he almost never gets hit, hopefully that helps him stay healthy With this narrative thing you can see the media just last week trying to drum up MVP noise for Rodgers and wanting people to forget Russell Wilson. I know you're a Pack fan but I believe you're not as biased to even remotely suggest Rodgers has played as well as Russ |
