budaatum:I'm saying Ferrari's poor pitting turned a 1-2 to a 2-4. Even with a slower car it takes a spectacular fail for you to turn a 1-2 to a 2-4 in a race without safety car incidents The initial screw up took Leclerc out of the equation. Ferrari, Hamilton thought Hamilton would not finish the lap on those tires. This was a big fail on Ferrari's part. The myth that Ferrari were quicker was largely rubbished as neither car even sniffed DRS range of the Mercs even on fresher tires. That says it all really |
MrBrownJay1:Couldn't get anywhere near? Are you serious? For the last 3 laps he was half a second behind Vettel while Bottas was 15 seconds ahead driving into the sunset Ferrari had no race pace and everyone knew that Japan race was between Bottas and Hamilton MrBrownJay1:Whatever the altitude might have been it had zero impact on the hard compounds. They lasted way longer than anyone could have realistically projected ahead of the race. Unless they were worried about Leclerc's tires degrading alarmingly I fail to see why he was pitted that early without considering the possibility of the race being a one stopper instead of a two, and even worse they ensured that every Ferrari car that came to pit lost unnecessary time as well. Amateur hour by Ferrari |
budaatum:I'm saying this strategy was incumbent on Ferrari bungling their pitstop completely. Leclerc was pitted too early and his race compromised. Even Vettel miscalculated and thought Hamilton would not be able to go on to the end of the race. Hamilton himself didn't think he would make it Forget about qualifying and look at the fact that neither Bottas nor Hamilton came under any real threat from the chasing Ferrari's despite running on older tires. The Mercs had consistent race pace and were as quick as the Ferrari's |
The Trae Young and Steph comparisons are legit oh. Iro o da. That kid is a baller |
MrBrownJay1:You don't catch and overtake anyhow in a track like Mexico. That's why Hamilton held off Seb with a 49 lap tire At Suzuka you saw how Sebastian had to defend with every last inch just to keep himself ahead of Ham. Hamilton had literally caught him. The Mercs always have race pace no matter what happens in qualifying, there is never a massive drop off come race day |
budaatum:Haba. So how come the Ferrari's were never able to pull away to make their gamble on Leclerc work? What you call strategy was the fact that the Hard tyres lasted far longer than anyone could have anticipated, with little to no degradation and without losing any speed. Ferrari's error was putting Leclerc on a two stopper and then messing up his pit stop else they would have won the race. Mexico is not exactly an ideal track for overtaking either so once Ferrari screwed up it was Mercedes race to lose. |
The Hornets would be a really good team if Terry Rozier was even a half decent Point Guard. I love MJ but how and what could he have possibly seen in Terry goddamn Rozier who has the worst shot selection I've ever seen |
Obere4u:Pusha T ni |
BlueRayDick:You people should fear God sometimes. How can you say that was not a pen with a straight face? |
Imagine thinking Porzingis would not be an absolute beast this year Kyrie gunning for that scoring title this year |
budaatum:Lmaoooo it has reached joke status now. I feel for Leclerc. They cost him this race with their incompetence Also something must be said for Mercedes and it's race pace. This is not the second, third or fourth time this is happening. Let nobody in the future come and tell me how Ferrari had the faster car and other sundry megedefegede. |
The Steph slander has gone nuclear on the interwebs |
steady986:You're a clown with obviously shaky command and interpretation of English. When it is crunch time, it is what AD can actually do on the court that would matter not your opinion or that of Pelinka so stop inundating me with nonsense |
afrodoc2:Lmaoooo baseball is too long for starters. And that is another sport I don't quite understand the koko of it. |
afrodoc2:Baba I tried oh. I no know when sleep carry me go. Maybe because I don't quite grab all the rules. |
steady986:Lmaooooooo you're dreaming. You think snagging a few blocks here and there is the same thing as on ball defense. It's actually Kawhi that can check AD not the other way round |
FBS:Lool it's not a matter of beef. I have no dog in the fight. I no just grab or find the sport entertaining ni. The idea of 15 ninjas running forming a horizontal convoy and tossing the ball to each other laterally no just excite me. I understand your excitement sha |
Ibime:I hope it backfires and they draw. Really hope so |
steady986:Lmaooooooo you think AD can check Kawhi? I no blame you sha. Na Utah without Bogdanovic dey make you beat chest |
steady986:You can only beat what is in front of you. Klay Thompson played 4 games and 3 quarters so heavily depleted is a stretch. Golden State have also benefitted from beating heavily depleted teams. Kawhi is the best player in the league rn. Make your peace with it |
FBS:I don try my best to sit down watch that Rugby. E no just enter. Just doesn't excite me at all |
steady986:Story man. All na still L Bogdanovic might not play so una suppose beat Utah |
steady986:Alaye. Prior to Kawhi's injury he was in the discussion already. His exploits last post season cemented that position. Give the man his crown. When it was LeNomad's time (from 2011 onwards) everybody agreed he was the best. Why is it so difficult for you lot to do likewise for someone else If we're going by purely regular season ball then it can be argued that James Harden is actually the best player in the league not even una Queen |
The only thing LeNomad is best at in the league right now is flopping. That's why that tiny push from Green had him flying out of bounds the last game |
steady986:Lool you can never stop yarnin Okoto meow meow skrrrrrrrr skrr. The best player in the league is a moving target and no one player's birth right. Mind you Kawhi was already knocking on the door before injury derailed his campaign in the 2017 playoffs. Maybe you have forgotten the Spurs were blowing out Golden State in Game 1 till he got hurt. He had finished runner up in MVP voting and 3rd in the years leading to his injury. I was one of the doubters he could return to form but after what he showed last season, he has usurped LeNomad and that fact you need to embrace |
yomi96:It's far too early to crown anyone Champions but I think you're not considering the fact that the Clippers bench is just a bench nominally. Montrezl Harrell played 38 minutes. Lou Williams finishes games pretty much every time. So guys like Harrell and Williams are part of this 'bench' for show more or less |
haymekus:Eishhhhh |
steady986:You think Danny Green will make 7 3's every night? ![]() |
steady986:Wo. Stop disturbing me Mr man. I know even if LeNomad confirms to you via video call you will still do eegun ori and argue with him. If you like don't believe what is public knowledge. No be me fit rescue you from your delusion |
steady986:Lmaoooooooo whatever helps you sleep at night. Everybody else knows LeNomad and AD were crying for Kawhi to join the Lakers https://lebronwire.usatoday.com/2019/06/28/lebron-james-and-anthony-davis-expected-to-be-in-meeting-with-kawhi/ https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nba/news/kawhi-leonard-free-agency-rumors-lebron-james-anthony-davis-will-be-part-of-meeting-with-finals-mvp/1pa42arxphsal130femh1eezlu Isn't it here a Bronsexual like yourself spent weeks fappin ad nauseum in expectation of Kawhi's arrival |
steady986:It will end in tearssss |
steady986:https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/27903657/lebron-james-anthony-davis-reflect-lakers-failed-bid-land-kawhi-leonard?device=featurephone Are you crazy? Who doesn't know LeNomad was begging Kawhi to join him and Davis. steady986:Nobody plays more than 25 mins in preseason mate. steady986:Yes. But KD joined the team and took over. AD is still trying to hide in LeNomad's shadow |
