None of them has told us why Neymar is already planning on returning to Barca. Shebi dey were optimistic he would shine in PSG, abi A40, Raumdeuter, una don forget when una tell us say Neymar go shine for PSG.
Shebi it takes two to tango. If Barca go out and buy Neymar why are you taking panadol for their headache? It's not like Neymar would go to Nou Camp and break into their dressing room without their consent.

The shameless person is Hazard that spent 3 seasons begging to join Madrid

Let him sha remain in the club that spent over 200m to sign him. Hazard honoured his contract with Chelsea, let ur MCM honour his own with PSG? Nobody forced him to leave Barca, he was the one forming king kong...he didn't know how much a good team Barca was and how the players helped him progress.
If he honored his contract then he should have joined Madrid for free and not for £100m.

All these still didn't change the fact that, Madrid had a really bad season, changed Managers and lost CR7 who has been their star player for many years.

He still has balls joining them unlike someone who's trying to run away from Mbappe's shadow, running back to where Messi will start spoon feeding him and saving his ass. grin grin

Person wey dey stay fit for Barca now suddenly don become injury prone player especially when it matters the most.
They got back the manager that helped them to a 3peat. They are in their second year without Ronaldo and will be over the shock of losing him. There is nothing ballsy about him joining Madrid. They are the only team better than Chelsea that showed interest in him.

Remind me how many Champions League titles Barcelona and Messi have won since he left and how many multiple goal second leg leads they have blown now?

Leaving for Madrid that had a really bad season, sacked managers and lost their best player and goal scorer is a big gamble for Hazard.
Yeah what a gamble. Joining a team that is one year off a CL 3peat that has had a full season to adjust without Ronaldo is a massive gamble. Considering he was joining them from an all-conquering Chelsea who just played in the Champions League Finals back to back

Come and explain the correlation of IT's achievements in today's league and that of Muggsy Bogues back then that made you foolishly name-drop him?

Are you for real? If Ronaldo had remained in Manchester United, he'd be referred to as a local champion by you and your ilks...

Look at the quality Barcelona and Real Madrid possess, isn't it frightening? Other big clubs strike gold once in a while with absolutely world class team e.g. Manchester United of the late 2000, Bayern with Shweinsteiger, Kross, Robben, Ribery, Lahm, Martinez, Neuer, Alaba and Co., Inter couple of years back etc Only Barcelona and Madrid have the resources backed by that ridiculous sharing formula in Spain to go from Eto to Ibra, from Ibra to Villa, from Villa to Suarez and now Grizzy and in Madrid, Raul, Nistwlrooy, Zidane, Figo, Becks, Robben (he deemed not good enough along with Schneider), Ronaldo, Kaka, Benz, Higuain, and now Hazard, Jovic etc. As of now, only Manchester City similarly has the resources to continually cherry pick the best players around.
I don't know if Hazard will win the UCL with Madrid but one thing is certain, he'll pose far greater number of goals and assist compared to when he was with Chelsea. Reason? He'll be surrounded by absolutely world class players in just about every position.
How can anyone with a working brain label Ronaldo who won and led United to back to back CL Finals and won WPOTY a local Champion?

Comparing him to Hazard is ridiculous as Ronaldo was the best player in the world even while he was still in England

Don’t forget the most important, we also have their “SHEEP” who has spent his entire career chasing the ghost from Chicago. The same ghost he wanted to be like while he was growing up, the same ghost is the reason he chose the 23, the same ghost he he has conceded he is never catching, the same ghost who said 5 beats 3 any day! The ghost in Chicago stopped playing decades ago but he still haunts them daily.

You would have a point only if Jordan scored 100% of his team's points. But since others also scored, while contributing on the defensive end, I'm afraid you can't just sweep their contributions under the carpet.
Lol you're stupid beyond redemption. A player playing for supposedly stacked teams should not be contributing the most percentage of points for his team in Finals history on 3 out of 6 occasions. That was the crux of the post you foolish Bronsexual
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by A40(m):
steady986:
Look at the photo I attached and notice the portion I highlighted before you begin with your folly. You mentioned qualities like bigger, stronger, faster and more athletic and I highlighted the last three because although SC and IT are not big, they are certainly stronger, faster and more athletic than point guards from the previous era. Just like we had Jerry West, John Stockton and Steve Nash do well in their eras, SC and IT are doing well in this era as well. Or do you expect a point guard to be as strong as a power forward just because they play in an era that is stronger and bigger. Compare SC of this era to Jerry West of that era and tell me who is bigger, stronger, faster and more athletic. Also compare IT of this era and Mogsy Bogues of that era.
Steph plays in an era better suited for smaller players not just to shine but to be arguably the best player in the league.

You're hopelessly demented if you cannot see that what makes Steph great has nothing to do with Speed, strength or athleticism. What proof do you have that Steph and IT are stronger and more athletic than PG's from that era? You mean Steph is stronger and more athletic than Gary Payton, Penny Hardaway, Kevin Johnson?

The Steph Curry that is missing wide open dunks is supposed to be quicker, stronger and more athletic than older generation PG's? You positively must be on crack!!

It would have been better if you had just allowed me think you're were a Rank Xerox merely incapable of original thought than to speak and affirm my worst fears that you are a complete poof with life threatening stupidity embedded in him

And finally ode. Come and show me the season Muggsy Bogues averaged more than 11 pts per game and show me how many All-star, All-NBA appearances he made. Typical Bronsexual always name dropping foolishly. Onye Nzuzu

Who cares if you agree or not? What a Muppet! We have a whole player who copied Jordan and made a Hall of Fame career, we had inferior versions who became all-stars. We have another HOFer who made it one-legged and dominated the league. We had a Kawhi who pundits were likening his style to Jordan

No mugu. But the ability to put the ball in the basket is the single most important trait. Every other scheme revolves around putting it in the basket and preventing the other team from putting it in the basket.

She has had a remarkable journey so far and I believe no woman has come back from motherhood to still play at such high level. However I think she is at that level already. Why she lost yesterday and her previous two grand slams is not down to motherhood.

There are clear chinks in her armor and I reiterate Serena has lost that fear factor especially in the big games. She had started losing Finals in quick succession before motherhood. It's possible that she still wins at least one or two more slams just because of how great she is

Yea, moves like the Harden step back and floater, or the Curry LeBron/Same deep three. Lol. Mention one of Jordan's moves that's been replicated in today's game.

But we were talking of his defense, how did his offence get into this discussion?

Jordan's defence was praised mostly because of his ability to rob a player off the ball one on one. In today's game, a lot of those steals would have been called a foul because of the way he had to make physical contact with the player to rob him off the ball.
Are you a comedian or something? One of the all-time greats Kobe Bryant literally photocopied MJ's game and dominated an era.

Even Dirk's one legged fadeaway was a modification of MJ's move, your MCM LeNomad, Wade, Melo. Who was Kawhi's style of play most compared to this post season? Even the mental midget DeRozan. You must be joking surely! His mid-air switches are obviously harder to implement by players today but to suggest players didn't and aren't still copying the GOAT is pure clownspeak

What nonsense physical contact are you talking about? Anticipation, ability to jump passing lanes can also help you get steals. Jordan was also an elite shot blocker at his position so I don't even know what you're talking about.

But speed, athleticism yen yen yen. Lmaooo yet the Spurs won 4 Chips post Jordan with Tim Duncan and Tony Parker.

Defense is more IQ and fundamentals than raw physicality. But physicality is definitely a much needed tool. You can see the teams that were able to beat the Warriors were the teams that were able to get physical, now compare to how physical teams got back then and you see the difference is clear.

The NBA summer league plays more defense than the real NBA games. At 35 LeBum stopped playing active defense 2 seasons ago. Not saying he was not a good defender but it just buttresses and accentuates my question about defense in this era. The referees are the MVP of most games because they spend more time whistling and moving their feet than today’s NBA players.
We saw LeNomad being shoved by his junior colleague to go and play defense. The truth is LeNomad stopped being an elite defender after leaving the Heatles. And even for the most part he was more of a elite help defender than an on ball defender.

What is a flagrant 1, flagrant 2 in this era was a clean hard foul back then. Says it all! And that's why flopping is at an all-time high and an art form today

She did not even get a single Ace in the game. I was just as frustrated as she was watching the game. Serena is all about emotions and when she is not in the right mood, especially when one point does not go her way early on she becomes frustrated with everything and just stops playing. Halep moved very well on the court and whenever it went into a rally, the point was as good as gone for Serena. It was one of her worst displays, I mean outside of last year's performance but she was more graceful today.
People no dey really fear Serena again. I don't know if it's motherhood but stepping on the court half the time you feel you have lost already when you see her on the other side.

This was the same Halep that she was 9-1 ahead of prior to today but see how Halep jumped on her throat from the first game. First Kerber, then Osaka and now Halep. A pattern is emerging
