Just look at Eric Bledsoe. You're on a 4 year $70m deal and you're dropping this poverty performance. Some of these players don't have shame

Rungvisai losthuh wow. really surprised

IMH, Usyk entering the heavyweights would make it more exciting and I see him as a bigger threat to AJ than wilder is. Usyk is fast, and very smart with excellent technique. He is like a smaller AJ and he could go the distance if he is pitted against AJ.
When it comes to the Heavyweights the bigger guy usually wins (unless you're Mike Tyson) and even Tyson feasted on glass chinned ninjas and past their peak Larry Holmes.

Funny enough I actually feel smaller fighters give AJ more trouble than the bigger ones. My fear for Usyk will ultimately be that size advantage might just be too much to overturn. Just like Holyfield never really figured out Bowe or Lewis but you felt if he was only a few inches taller, a few pounds heavier maybe he would have more Knockout power to truly dominate

darkelf:
Jacobs is a strong fighter no doubt but Canelo has better quality and is a better offensive fighter with an equally strong chin. Although, I admit that he may have lost against GGG if the later was younger. GGG seemed slower in both fights like he was battling rigamortis.

And why is nobody talking the fight we all want to see; Crawford vs Spence Jnr. Man.......a fight of the century calibre duel
GGG's KO power was waning and it was clear even from the Jacobs fight. I'd be suprised if he didn't go the distance against Canelo. I mean Chavez Jr did and he barely put up a fight

As for Spence and Crawford, well there's no point to keep talking about a fight that might never hold

I'm just saying, the cinnamon man has various weapons. And I'm obviously not comparing GGG and Wilders technique, I'm just saying their resume is similar in the sense that they have fought nobody of note. What you're saying about GGG is the same thing wilder will say, everyone was avoiding him. But whats his excuse for the fight he chose now? He doesnt have that boogey man tag anymore i mean steve rolls? LOL!

I dont want to see a trilogy either, if he beats jacobs which he most likely will, Andrade is the next fight to make if he doesnt want to go challenge callum smith at super middleweight.
Lol no one has ever really accused Wilder of ducking tbvh. Up till this AJ vs Wilder saga. The general consensus was that Wilder had not really fought anyone credible, which I wouldn't necessarily blame him for.

I agree GGG's current selection was poor. Andrade was the no-brainer fight to make. I don't know if they were ever on the negotiating table but if GGG wants to get back in the title frame then he would have to fight these guys or retire so ducking them would be pointless

Your boy Jacare lost again. Lol! Don't want to hear that old man speak on Izzy till he scores a win against any decent contender

Spurs looked like they just wanted to weather the initial storm. But Denver came out confident from start to finish. I was expecting game 7 jitters from Denver....for where. Jokic is a beast!
Ohh Denver tried their very best to trowey that game yesterday but luckily for them DeRozan and LaMarcus were the guys they were contending with. They might not be so lucky next round

I'm happy for the Nuggets. I had my eyes on this team since the start of last season and it's great to see them fulfil potential after their erstwhile abysmal defense was holding them back.

Jokic shot very poorly but did just enough. It was a real war of attrition on all sides

Spurs really started so terribly!

End of 1st Quarter Spurs losing 13 : 23
Their antiquated offense is what is responsible for this performance so far.

DeMar DeRozan. 2/11 0-0 3pm

Like the old saying goes, when someone shows you who they are. Believe them!

The UFC elbow on Allen in the last round and then instead of apologizing was laughing at Allen in the post game Conference. And then the absolute nadir for me was when he called Jared Dudley a nobody. There comes a point when you move from entertaining to a flat out jackass

I have never ever questioned the Claw. I had a problem with how he left San Antonio but I always knew that a healthy Kawhi is virtually unstoppable on both ends.
For me it was the fact that he took so long to come back and so I wondered if the injury was far more serious than we were being let on. Remember Tony Parker had similar injury and came back much earlier so you wondered if it was a mental or physical thing or both.

Either way it's great to see him back to his best. He really looked like a Dad playing with his kids today. Complete dominance on both ends

Lmaooo don't mind that Eediot. I'm low-key happy he is stinking up the joint after his rubbish behavior against the Nets. He don jam him size in Gasol he's now shooting poverty numbers.

People were even claiming he was the best player in this series. Turns out he might not even be the best Cameroonian

It almost looks like Kawhi hypnotizes his opponents because he is not particularly pushing the pace but every shot is well thought and methodical.
Perkins was dropping comparisons with him and the GOAT the other day and people kind of misunderstood him but if you look really well you would see some similarities. Apart from his ability to move at his own pace at all times, he is also able to get to his sweet spots regardless of which defender is on him.

I don't know how people watch guys like these and talk about James Harden being the most unstoppable offensive force

Canelos body shots are vicious, perhaps the second best body puncher in the world after Spence. He doesnt need to catch him on his jaw to stop him, especially how the rehydration clause has jacobs looking so skinny.

But you do realize a younger triple G is exactly what wilder is right? Of course GGG is the far superior boxer but his resume is filled with tomato cans and truck drivers. While Canelo is fighting a unification bout your man has reverted to old habits. Dont know if hes trying to avoid too much punishment in hopes of a canelo trilogy later this year. Say what you want about canelo, he fears no man, always goes after the best.

Sad about rungvisai. Hes not the same fighter he used to be anymore and his whole switch hit game plan was sh-t.
The body shots are the prequel. Jacobs is a tough kid, it would still likely take a hook or overhand to the chin to drop him.

Lmaooo noo. GGG didn't have such agricultural technique bruh. Plus the reason GGG doesn't have a better résumé is because nobody really wanted to fight him. Prime GGG was one of the most ducked fighters in the division

I don't know if I want to see another Canelo vs GGG fight. GGG is already in decline while Canelo is in his peak

Warriors finally through to the next round.

Harden and the Rockets waiting......
Hopefully there wouldn't be excuses this time around.
Warriors lose a game, you hear ref ref ref....
Unless the Rockets and especially Harden play out of his mind the Rockets will have big problems in this series.

I think the Rockets got off easy against an offensively inept Jazz team and the only reason Harden is not getting more heat for his annual post-season brickfest is because there was an even worse Mason on the other side. I would legit lose my shit the next time I hear any pundit call James Harden the most unstoppable scorer in the game. He really is next to useless when his step back chucks aren't falling as he has no mid-range game, no post game and is not athletic enough to consistently finish in traffic like prime GOAT, Wade, Kobe, LeNomad,KD could

With that being said I can see the Rockets stealing Game 1 but will be suprised if Golden State don't end this in 6 max

The thing is all of those "exciting" fights ended exactly how most expected them to. Usyk is one of the best skilled boxers in the world but hes around 6'2 - 6'3 and will be giving up a lot of size because the smallest among the top heavyweights is joshua who is 6'6, wilders i think 6'7 and fury is 6'9. He said he'll eat a lot of spaghetti lol but i dont think that will be enough, a cruiserweight to heavyweight move is not an easy task. Takam is not the best person to prepare you for these guys but its a good start. He beats takam easily. I guess we'll see what happens. Very good point about Usyk, i absolutely forgot about him but i am cautiously optimistic.
Well a fight can be exciting and still end as you expect. Like Ortiz vs Wilder, Red Viper vs The Mountain, Clippers vs Warriors

I see Usyk like an Evander Holyfield somewhat. He would do just fine but probably struggle vs the truly elite like Holyfield did with Bowe and Lewis. The drop in power might mean fights drag longer than necessary, as was the case with Holyfield

ReysonDrabek:
I see canelo via stoppage in the later rounds. Even if it goes to the scorecards we know hes already up by four rounds so its hard to see past a canelo win. Not overlooking jacobs i know he gave GGG a tough fight, maybe even won but canelos looking more dangerous than ever these days. Was going to ask you about the Rungvisai fight but i know you probably wont watch that one.
This is also possible. Jacobs has a strong chin but Canelo hits hard AF. I don't think Jacobs beat GGG. A younger GGG probably knocks out Jacobs in that fight anyway. Canelo is in his prime so I agree a KO is a possibility

I heard about Rungvisai catching the L today but don't really follow the small guys tbvh.

Ulli is a problem, he is always fiercely loyal to ex-players which can be a bad thing as in this situation

He keeps repeating that he regretted sacking Jupp in 1991 and he doesn't want to repeat the mistake again

Kovac is an error and needs to be changed, He doesn't have what it takes to coach a top team. Our matches, we have no clearly defined manner of attack, everything is just chaotic and most times our superior talents prevail
I've always wondered. Who has the final say regarding personnel between Kalle and Uli

I can stomach the bad results if I felt we were playing with a coherent pattern and some form of identity. All I see is a coach leveraging on superior talent at league level as you said.

Look at Frankfurt since he left and compare to how they play now, the difference is night and day. Go and see their Europa game against Benfica where they outplayed them even in the 4-2 first leg loss thanks to an early red card. I was supremely confident they would overturn the deficit in the second leg I staked on it.

The Pepe rumors are heating, maybe he can be our Sadio Mane and come to replace Robben. He's a direct no time for Shakushaku nigga

The heavyweight division is bad, like really bad. Outside the top 3 you have ortiz and dilian whyte who have both already been beaten by the top three, the rest are tomato cans. Then the fact that bar maybe Daniel Dubois there are no prospects in that division. And somehow the top three keep screwing the fans over. As for ortiz, i guess hes as dumb as he looks. I've given up on the heavyweight division.

BTW looking ahead to Canelo-Jacobs, who do you got?
For a bit it looked promising, Whyte, Parker, Povetkin, Pulev etc in the second tier. Don't know how it all went to shyte.

To be fair most of the heavyweight fights recently have been really good. The Chisora vs Whyte fight and the Whyte vs Parker fight was all out war.

I have my eye on Usyk and looking forward to see how he holds against Takam

Hard to see beyond a Canelo win. Canelo's chin is forged from granite so I don't know if Jacobs has enough power to score a decisive victory that would negate Champions advantage

Yeah thats pretty strange. Theyre saying PBC promised him a wilder rematch but that makes no sense whatsoever. Thats not enough reason to reject 7 mil especially since he only made half a mil vs wilder the first time and would still make less than 7 mil for the rematch. Really weird.

Thats if the reports are true. Match room have been known to bend the truth every once in a while.
Why would he fight Wilder again? I heard he was offered $5m then they upped it to $7m

Ortiz is probably the only credible US opponent available hence their leverage but the word is Ortiz's camp are holding for $10mil which is madness if true. While Hearn is notorious for offering low offers, at some point you have to make the trade off. Do you want what would still be the biggest payday of your career or do you want to overplay your hand
