People this is an example of the hype we talk about English players. Below is an example of the so called assist for Beckham according to Lord chic2pimp. But when we looked at it on video we saw that after Beckham took a corner kick, the ball touched at least 4 other players before landing in the net. But here we are they are telling us Beckham made 2 key assists in the CL final

Beckham too the corner, either Linke or Schmeichel headed, the ball landed Yorke headed another Bayern player kicked out Giggs played the ball in and Sherigham scored

So after Beckham kicked the ball about another 5 players touched it before it landed in the net, Yet what we are hearing is that the "Assist" is why he won the FIFA award

We are talking about country here. Besides as already said many times here, there was no international tourney that year bar the Copa America. Dude was a beast throughout that season and He rightfully finished second behind Rivaldo. 2001 might have been contentious but 1999 Mba Nu. Let's give credit to whom it's due abeg. When bayern and germany won ucl and world cup respectively, their main players like neuer, alaba/lahm, robben /muller churned out great performances consistently. They didnt wait for the final match before impressing. Let's assume neuer also decided to shine only in final matches, how would his team have got to the final? These guys ensure for every error committed by boathand, they rose up to cover his azz. But these days muller, ribery and co are tired of always rescuing a failure called boathand. Boathand is the most useless defender playing for a top club in europe. This last match is an evidence of what neuer has been suffering with boathand's horrible defending over the years.
