birdman:Draymond just used that Inside NBA show to jab Gobert from start to finish |
donlittle25:Durant was equally culpable. I'm looking at his numbers those last two games and I have to ask whether we have overrated him as a collective. I'm no longer comfortable seeing his name even in top 15 conversations Westbrook's problem is he also thought he was the guy. That's always recipe for disaster Celtics also have that problem but it's more manageable because Jaylen Brown is not as ornery as Westbrook |
birdman:Not against this Nuggets team. Someone will have to come along with him. A Bobby Gibson dropping 7 3s and 30 something points along with Antman One man is not beating Joker and this Nuggets squad. They have all the traits of the Spurs of old |
joshboo:He's a good player just not a mentally tough one. I really had high hopes when he came into the league. He was giving me Chris Webber comps. I don't know what the hell happened |
Antman taking those lumps all the alltime greats have to take. Feels like he's on fumes at this point. I don't care how confident you are. Physical exhaustion dey and mental exhaustion dey. |
donlittle25:They all play within the offense. 8-12 shots for everyone Murray and Jokic maybe can go 15-25 max depending on the settings Nobody really shoots the team out of games like a Westbrick |
40 piece Wolves take out your starters now. Prepare for game 6 All that fake effort these teams be doing when the game is lost be pissin me off |
37-6-12. Zero turnovers |
larride:Would be unfair cos this dude is unguardable. He's like Djokovic on a tennis court |
Gobert keeping them in it. You have to wonder though if they do lose this series will Gobert get the blame and how much of it. I mean they won a game without him |
Roland17:The year he averaged 24pts on 14 shots a game is where I knew the guy really could score 30 a night if he wants to. He just doesn't |
larride:Murray has picked up. MPJ is even worse, maybe him family problems don finally begin dey worry am. |
Jokic 4 straight assists. Damn Murray has seen my post it seems. |
2 pt deficit back to 5 pt lead. This team will fvck with their opponents mentally |
Real sloppy start by the Nuggets this second half Jamal Murray this is an unacceptable performance |
donlittle25:He does the little dirty work that just makes things easy for everyone else. Having a Gordon as your 3rd best player is better than having a Big 3. What Suns should have done getting a glue guy instead of another empty calorie volume scorer like Beal. I pray Lakers make same mistake and try to get a Young or Mitchell. Players who have high usage and need the ball in hand to be any type of useful |
donlittle25:Lol. Too predictable. It's pretty frustrating if you're a Timberwolves fan cos it's not like he's playing elite defense or anything. This is the 3rd straight year he gets into foul trouble in these games for no real reason |
Braun has been a masterstroke in these last 2 games. He has Antman in Supermax penitentiary |
Gobert has nothing for Joker. This is Barbecue chicken alert Gordon in early foul trouble |
These Pacers are the Tinman. No heart Knicks are the complete opposite. All heart |
kendrick9:You Bebeto niggas are always so funny. Someone averaging over 10 FTs per game is not a FT merchant? Nothing consign me with all this All NBA, MVP nonsense. Harden has done more than this in the regular season only to go ghost in the playoffs. SGA till this season was an unproven playoff performer. So my sentiment is 100% justified. At the moment his playoff resume is too thin for all this noise you're making if we're gonna keep it a buck. |
kendrick9:I judge players not by their ability to score free throws but how many buckets can you get on nights you don't get them calls. That's what separates Jordan, Kobe, Bron from a James Harden or Embiid SGA showed me something. Like I always say not spamming 3pts get you a lot of credit with me |
Kyrie and Luka ought to be ashamed of their performances today |
Nice game by SGA. Took just 1 3. He bringing the mid range back and wasn't a free throw merchant today. Had to work for his buckets as a star player should, I can respect that |
It makes no sense for a player as skilled as Luka to be barely above average at free throws |
Kyrie and Luka. Gba twins |
Who gave Lu Dort the green light to spam this many 3s?? This nigga wan use Brick spoil rim. If OKC want to mount a comeback it can't be by Dort taking as many shots as SGA and Williams He's reminding me so much of Dillon Brooks with his play. Just out there trying to get Luka hurt |
Donovan Mitchell out ![]() |
larride:Your aim is to limit his efficiency. Banking on Murray and MPJ to both shoot poorly is a dangerous game. What you want is for Jokic to be in hero ball mode taking 25 or more shots and then reduce his efficiency like they did in Game 1. Not the over aggressive doubling they do with both guys jumping on him at the same time subsequently from Games 2-4. He will just shoot over your heads or find the open man. They're making that same over aggresive doubling mistake with Murray and now Denver have adjusted letting Gordon or Jokic bring up the ball. Expending energy and it's showing with all their jumpers falling flat. |
chic2pimp:He's a crazy man. Coaches that are tactically rigid always get on my nerves. Watch your player's minutes especially your starters. Now they have the unique misfortune of their reserves getting hurt but because he has overrun his starters now they have to play anyway even though they're running on fumes. I saw Josh Hart finally holding his waist. This is someone that was playing 48 minutes doing 14-17-7 now even his Ethiopian cardio needs breaks chic2pimp:The doubling is really to make him inefficient not necessarily to stop him. You can't stop a Jokic unless he doesn't feel like scoring that night. So if you let their most efficient player unfettered scoring access, you're demoralizing their defense. Gobert doesn't have good hands or a soft touch so he will always be a liability on offense, the effort required to stop him is minimal. What you want is a body on KAT. Allow Antman to keep playing hero ball, when KAT starts feeling himself is when you run into having problems. He's an overly emotional player that tries to over correct his reputation as a softie so put AG on him to knock him off rhythm I definitely don't expect MPJ to play as bad, he just didn't have it yesterday but I've not seen him have back to back games this season I just believe that overall the Nuggets obituary was written too early. Their big advantage is that they usually just understand the assignment in late close games. I get a lot of San Antonio Spurs vibes from them. Jokic is Duncan Murray is Parker And anyone can be Ginobili on any night Still a pivotal Game 5. Whoever wins this wins the series IMO |
Thibodeau learning another brutal lesson on running his players to the ground and working them like a slave owner. He probably hasn't though. He will still repeat the same mistake next year Brunson can barely jump. Even Josh Hart with him Kenenisa Bekele cardio don dey tire. |
chic2pimp:You're cooking. Let's be observing What is clear though is that Rudy cannot guard Jokic. So do they send a double and make Jokic pass and gamble that his teammates keep missing or do they move KAT to Jokic and let Rudy just roam around. They can do that anyway since someone like KCP won't hit water if you threw him off a boat I don't know if these games would end in blowouts though. I don't know that KAT will keep shooting that poorly. Which means MPJ and Murray need to cook for a blowout to be possible |
